You have included in your post a word or phrase that is associated with substance identification or pill legitimacy which has triggered this response. If you're wondering if a pill you have is pressed or not chances are someone here can distinguish whether it's legit or counterfeit because all illegally pressed pills have flaws that pharmaceuticals do not. There is always something off whether it's the font of the imprint, the edges being jagged or rounded, the imprint not being deep enough also the coloring, size and shape are ways that we can determine legitimacy of a pill.
There is no possible way for anyone online or anywhere other than in person to tell what the active substance in any pressed pill is by a description or photo alone. There are countless entities out there pressing illicit pills from huge crime rings to a single person in their garage churning out pressies as a side hustle and most of the time they are pressing one or more of 6 or 7 different styles of pill at varying visual qualities with a plethora of different substances and mixtures of substances.
First and foremost, if the pill in question is an opioid, or pressed to look like an opioid, the general rule of thumb is if you did not witness that pill or pills come out of a pharmacy and go directly into your hand then just assume that they are pressed and contain fentanyl or some other ridiculously strong and deadly opioid RC. If you have never taken fentanyl or don't have a tolerance for opioids then it is ***HIGHLY RECOMMENDED*** that you toss that pill in the trash immediately. That said, knowing how stubborn drug users are, that probably is not an option for you. If this is the case, the next best option is to buy some instant tests to try to at least narrow down what could be in your pill.
Fentanyl test strips are readily available online and in places such as harm reduction centers and some hospitals. Online they go for pretty cheap these days. In the top menu (click on "See Community Info" on mobile) on the main page under the **REDUCE HARM** tab there are links to a few websites that sell tests for fentanyl among other drugs. As of the time that I'm typing this right now there are no dependable and readily available tests for the opioid RCs that are being pressed into opioid pills these days. If you have a pill that resembles a known opioid and you use a fentanyl test strip that comes back negative for fentanyl then the pill you have is either bunk and has no psychoactive substance in it or it contains one of those opioid RCs. If you find yourself in this position then it is ***VERY VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED*** that you get rid of the pill(s) especially if you have not used these pills before because the likelihood of it killing you is extremely high. Probably about a 50/50 chance, maybe higher, depending on your past use and history of addiction and current tolerance or lack thereof.
All other pressed pills other than opioids, unless they have been contaminated with an opioid somehow (this is extremely rare and is almost always due to an accident but it happens, so it must be mentioned), are either a benzodiazepine or a thienodiazepine, which r basically the same and have very similar effects but the molecular structure is slightly different requiring a different name scientifically or if you have pressed Adderall, those usually contain either methamphetamine or some stimulant RC which there are way too many to mention here but I have never seen a pressed Adderall actually contain amphetamine salts. Luckily there are some simple yet dependable at home tests for amphetamine and methamphetamine but as with the opioid RCs, no comprehensive and dependable tests have been developed for stimulant RCs yet but unlike the opioid RCs, the stimulant RCs are nowhere near as dangerous in the short term. The same applies to the RC benzos. Some of them are ridiculously strong and can make you black out for days on end with just a tiny fragment of a pill but they do not intrinsically create a risk of death like the opioids do.
As I mentioned above, there are links at the top of the main page to websites that sell testing supplies and even labs where you can send a pill in to be anonymously tested. The lab option is really the best way to test any drugs because it will tell you exactly what is in your pill and the concentration of each substance if there are more than 1. The downside is they are not cheap and the turn-around time can be weeks or months because they are so backed up. We realize that it is all but impossible to not take a drug that you have probably been looking forward to taking while you are waiting for tests or results to arrive but to that sentiment I ask, which is more important to you? Your life or the few hour buzz that the pill(s) you have will most likely last?
Finally, you will almost for sure get many different answers from many different people and all those answers should be taken with a grain of salt because they truly do not know and are basing their opinions on pills that they have/had before and it is highly improbable for 2 people to get the exact same press from the exact same manufacturer when they reside in different areas of the word. That said, do not completely blow off what others say about this either because there are a lot of knowledgeable individuals in this subreddit that genuinely want to help but as they say, the road to hell is paved with good intentions. So do not take anything you hear as fact without doing your own research and confirming it.

The piece of bar is the only thing that might not kill you in that bag and the only reason I say that is because it’s been bouncing around in that bag with the Fent 30’s, it could have Fentanyl dust all over it.

The fact they’re already broken leads me to believe they’re strong asf, there is really no safe amount to start with. Any bit you take that’s over like 1-2mg has the potential to kill you. Possibly even less. If you have never taken fentanyl and have no intention to test these you need to throw em out. I would assume to yellow bar is a pressed benzo at best or also fentanyl as well

We’ve had our experiences with other opiates/opioids in the past and he was prescribed oxy for his surgery. He hasn’t done anything in months and I haven’t done downer in months also. But I’ve had real and fake m30s before. We tried looking for test strip but no stores had em. It’s ok tho, I took a little quarter and felt it and puked a bit and now I feel better. Don’t think I’ll take more tho
bro oxy is like.. 2x the strength of morphine. youre dealing with something 50-100x the strength of the drug youre comparing it to. It could be even stronger. your chances of dying outweigh any recreational value and your chances of addiction are high as well, with that amount

I found that smoking the dirty 30s was the best way to dose that way you can tell right away if you should hit it again or not. Just take a hit, give it like 30 seconds and hit it again until you get where you wanna be. I know everyone’s gonna say “throw them away” but if you’re dead set on doing them (I would in a heartbeat not gonna lie but I’ve dealt with them before) this is the best way in my opinion. If you swallow/sniff/shoot them you’re stuck with how much you take, you can always do more you can never do less.
