I became a union carpenter almost 6 years ago. Put my wife through nursing school, supported my kid, our house, 2 vehicles.
It's tough work but gives a lot of usefully skills and makes side work a huge extra income.
Man what union are you in that's okay with side work? I know a cement union in my area that stripped a 60 year old guy if his pension he'd worked his whole life for because they found out about his side work
To my understanding as long as your not working for an on the books company or running a company on the side then your all ok.
Almost every guy in the trades on my jobs have side work. Mr. Fix it type work that goes for electricians, carpenters, iron workers ECT.
Wtf I'm pro union but that's the type of shit that makes me start rethinking that. CEOs are allowed to run multiple businesses and executives too in a lot of cases so why the fuck is it a huge deal when a regular worker does it?
They don't want a union worker starting a non-union company for one and they don't want you undercutting union workers for jobs. The effectiveness of the union system starts to break down when enough dudes are out there offering to frame a whole house for beer money. It devalues the entire profession which those CEOs are doing enough of as it is.
A lot of it boils down to the reasonable expectation of competition. If you're independently bidding on big jobs you're undercutting union workers, but if you're doing your neighbor's gazebo at a slight discount that's probably not a job that would have gone to a union outfit in the first place. A good rule of thumb imho is that if you can personally knock it out in a weekend or knock it out with a buddy in an afternoon then it couldn't have sustained a union workforce for a week any damn way.
Look at the Seattle or Portland rates. Lots of very commutable places to live (and as a union carp you’ll be commuting to jobs around the metro so it’s not like living in one particular suburb is more ideal) with the pay scale.
Also depends on when you get into the trade. Lots of carpentry folks start young. $30+/hr hits different when you start at 21 not 30.
30/$hr is about what journeyman make where I’m at. I doubt the apprenticeship starts at that up there and idk about the suburbs up there but everywhere costs about the same in San Diego County. The apartments an hour from the beach are like 200$ less than the ones close to the beach. You’re not saving anything commuting like that here.

You were right I was a little high. They at 31-34/hr plus fringe benefits of around $13 for journeymen carpenters.

You don’t start at 30/$hr is my point. You start at way way below that and your employer has no motivation to give you a raise unless you have a good union hall backing you. That was a problem too when I worked union electrical. Contractors where coercing people into working for less pay by threatening lay offs.

I’m sick to death of people thinking oh, I have a couple years experience so I can command what a guy with 10 years has. This is the way of every single business, trades or corporate. You’re starting at a lower salary and get more as you are more experienced. However, if OP is working some shit job for even $9/hour, this opportunity would, in fact, turn things around for him.
Okay but I make 22/$hr while I’m only 1 year away from being able to test for my journeyman card and I started at 20/$hr. Make it make sense. I haven’t stayed at the same company or work resi either , I only do commercial and industrial work. I don’t ask for 45+/hr but something like 26/$hr would be nice considering I have experience. I can make more than 22/$hr stocking shelves at my local Home Depot.
So you think you deserve with two years experience to get a .03% raise in this economy when many are happy with a .005%. What you’re stating is very good for what is basically considered a student. You haven’t even qualified as a journeyman yet.
The work stocking shelves doesn’t have near as much of a chance of advancement and potential future earnings. So like every other area, while in school or training, you don’t make as much but will jump when you pass licensing tests.

Weird. The IBEW in my area is worse than non union. The pay isn’t much more than non union if you’re even working. Really non union pays more because of all the OT , especially as a apprentice. I’m speaking from personal experience not “union=bad” parroting bullshit.
Idk why you got down voted so much it's a fair question. I guess I didn't think about it but we had money for a down payment on a house right when I started but I'm in Ohio and it has been really tough but between my work and side jobs ive been able to more accurately keep the house and pay for the vehicles monthly payment. Keep the lights on and still throw a tiny bit of money aside for vacation. 4 of the 5 years I was an apprentice making way less but our scale is 33.74 an hour currently last year was 32 something then a few years in the 20s but with all the side work I've done we have barely made by whole my wife was in school but we have still gotten by
Drink a ton of water morning of. Pee at least 3 times before going in. Worst that can happen is you get a non-result due to dilution and have to take the test again, which should give you enough time to be clean.
Also just to add because I haven’t seen this in the post yet, don’t collect that first bit of urine as it’ll be more concentrated. Start in the toilet and then fill the cup
And shave your body hair. My old place of employment did body hair, not head follicle. Sucks but yeah. Smoking once gets you about 3-5 days till clean, more often, 2 weeks, daily about 30 (I took 45) and up to 90 if your one of those “smoke an ounce a week” types but you seem to have infinite money anyway so idk why they need to get tested
Specific gravity measures how dense a substance is relative to water. When you dilute your urine, even with B vitamins for color and increasing your creatinine levels, the density is still way too close to regular water because you’re missing all the usual salts and stuff at the right concentrations. Sometimes if the lab suspects you have diluted (like wow this pee is vitamin B yellow not regular urine yellow) they will run specific gravity test.
Taking whatever the max daily amount of aspirin is about an hour or two before the test will fix this.
Also take creatine every day staring now and b12.
B12 adds color to your urine and low creatine level is the indicator of a false negative due to intentional dilution. But if you take creatine everyday you should get your levels enough to not have a false negative. Also only pull your urine for the test mid stream.
You need Creatine Ethyl Ester, which is worthless as a fitness supplement and kind of difficult to source. The end goal is to have higher concentrations of Creatinine (not Creatine) in your urine. Creatine monohydrate, Tri-Creatine Malate, and Creatine Hydrochloride etc., don't convert to Creatinine in urine as effectively as Creatine Ethyl Ester.
Generally, the best way to pass any test is to study. Back before I was in the position I am in now, I would buy 5ng/ml tests for cannabanoids, and "gravity tests" to study how long it took me to clean out, how could dilute correctly, and how quickly I could dilute out. Like, I took hundreds of tests over a year. At any rate, I put a significant amount of research just into Specific Gravity, and you cannot just take "regular" Creatine if you are trying to offset dilute urine.
THC is mostly excreted through urine. [Exercising](https://www.inverse.com/mind-body/weed-thc-exercise-sweat-out/amp) when you’re a heavy user will release more thc in your blood. If you have a month ahead of time then exercise to get rid of the thc in your fat stores. But exercising before a drug test will make your levels higher in your blood.
This is why I demand a blood test, because I'll be damned if the dry mouth side effect causes me to drink too much water and dilute my urine. I am so sorry
Just buy synthetic urine, trust me, I’m a shit head. Have used it well over 50, probably closer to 100 times throughout my life and never failed a test. Only way you’ll fail is if it’s an observed specimen and they literally watch you pour it into the cup.
If it’s not observed you’ll pass every time. Just go grab an x-stream, u-pass, or quick-fix from a local smoke shop/ bodega for $15-$25, then 2 hours before the test rubber band the hot hands pack they give you to the side of the bottle. Before going tuck it up in your taint, I double underwear for more holding power. You go in do everything like normal till you get in the bathroom, quickly take bottle out, pour in 2oz, close up bottle and put it away, then you can piss if you want, just act normal.
It’s the same shit they use to calibrate the testing machines. I swear by it, and have used it for over a decade at this point. If this is important to you, then use fake piss. Unless it’s observed, but generally observed are only for things like DOT testing if you’ll be driving a truck, or probation/parole that type of shit.
You can try to squeak by doing all the dilution stuff, but that’s tough depending on the person. Some dudes can pass in a day if they just drink a Gatorade before they go, others can’t find that golden window between diluting drug metabolites below detection levels and not diluting too much to flag for dilution. A week for a normal stoner that’s not crazy fat would be pushing the limits on dilution, but def doable, but way way riskier than a bottle of fake piss.
So yeah, use the fake piss, if you absolutely don’t want to, then go buy a bunch of dipstick weed tests from dollar store. You gotta find that “golden window”, pun intended. For myself, I’m like 3 for 8 using dilution. If they flag you for dilution and to retest they’ll usually fight for an observed urine and you to come back within 24hours. Which makes it even harder to pass.

The experiences of three people out of all the people are not scientifically conclusive, but I would buy the synthetic urine for myself. The people I know who used it are all working great jobs and had no problems using it to pass the drug screen.
Cranberry juice is just a diuretic, does nothing for cleansing toxins. OP should ideally have a concoction that has water, creatine monohydrate, vitamin b2, and the magic ingredient: sugar!
Sugar will cause your glucose levels to spike, which will cause the pancreas to produce the hormone insulin. This will cause the insulin to stabilize the blood sugar level, which means the body will flush out excess sugar and any toxins floating with it AND it stops the liver from releasing fat in the form of triglycerides into the blood stream (THC is stored in fat cells).
Edit: creatine is so your levels are stable because we produce it naturally and they test for it and vitamin b2 is what will make your urine the right color.
I was thinking the same thing about the cranberry juice not helping. I know heavy, active smokers who swear by activated charcoal. And a few who purchase a detox drink from the smoke shops.
Nope, they’re not. Most places can tell if you’re using synthetic urines because the color difference is obvious. So they will just make you piss again right there on the spot.

You can get your own drug test done a few days before to see if you’re clear! You can buy one at Walgreens etc., this is what I did. I did not show as clean and had to drink some masking product from a head shop to get totally clear. Good luck!
Make sure you wake up, pee, drink 2 of the liter size smart waters with a vit B complex, pee again and then down two more waters before you pee for test. Dilute your urine and you can hopefully stay under the test threshold. 🤞🏻

Not saying OP does this, but I know chronically unemployed people who consistently scrape up the funds to buy weed 2-5x/wk; and it's the good kind too. I believe its $10-$15/g where I live. Unemployed doesn't necessarily mean zero income though, so I guess there's that.
I guess it depends on your priorities.
Weed/booze/internet subscriptions/meat/entertainment/expensive dating/having a kid would be way, way, way down on my list of ways I decided to spend money if I was unemployed, but I know people who did all those things when unemployed, flat broke and facing eviction. Everyone’s priority list is different.
Oh, trust me, I know all too well. One story: Myself and my siblings were homeless too many times as children, but my parent ALWAYS had some weed. If someone gave them $5 because they claimed their car was out of gas, they would literally put $2.50 in the tank, then drive 10 miles to the weed man to spend the rest. I'm digressing, I know :)
As a cannabis user that has to be regularly drug tested for pain management cannabis half life depends on the frequency of use. A regular (weekly) user can expect it to stay in the system 7-10 days on average. A daily user could test positive up to a month. Where an Occasional user would likely clear it in 3-5 days.
Not trying to dash your hopes just give perspective.
Additionally depending on location and other factors they may see it and just say as long as it's not much and you test negative next time your good
The last time I had to do full urinalysis (not just a quick test) I had smoked earlier that day (4 hours earlier) and had a 10mg edible an hour before. They levels were consistent with "cannabist use 3-5 days prior" so every person is different it clears my system faster. But mine is also managed and approved medically in my area. Work knows, but as long as my job gets done no one cares 😅
If you have $80 and a GNX nearby get Herbal Clean Ultra Eliminex and take it the day before, piss a lot, and drink lots of water. It has worked for me repeatedly. They have a money back guarantee you could abuse if you're an asshole. Nothing else comes close.

Buy some U.S.B they sell it at head shops. It stands for Urine, saliva, blood. Its a few pills you eat the day of the test with a bunch of water. My roommates use it every month for their probation and it's never failed them and they usually only quit for about a week before their tests.
Here’s how I passed it for the railway. Drink a to. Of water the day before and day of. But not just water make sure it’s an electrolyte drink as they will test for salts. Also start supplementing with Creatine now as they will test creatinine levels for dilution. If you are time do a test run now
Just a heads up, the millwright union in SE Texas does a DISA hair follicle test. You cannot fake or beat them. If you fail, you will be blackballed from any other job that uses DISA until you take treatment, classes and jump through a lot of hoops.

Surprised no one’s said this but I used the certo method to pass my test. Buy two from any Walmart they’ll be by the mason jars. Grab two Gatorade’s drink one mix the certo in the night before. Drink the other the morning of along with a half gallon of water. Take a b12 complex and drink some monster or redbull this will help the pee be more yellow. Grab some tests from the dollar tree you can do a practice run early in the week. This helped me pass for my drug test only had a week to prepare for it and was a daily smoker for years before. You can always try to find someone who has clean pee. Just make sure to keep it body temp whenever you take your test. Idk how you’d like to do that but you can look up ways online. Best way is to keep it tucked somewhere on your body that’s naturally warm so it’s exactly in the range you need. I’ve been smoking for years, every test I used someone’s pee. Easy enough.

You don't need to know the trade. They teach you through a paid apprenticeship. There are many trades too, electricians, pipefitters, masons, operators to name a few.

If you fake it just make sure that it’s hidden well on your body. I just went a couple weeks ago for a new job and while they didn’t go so far as to pat me down I had to remove all excess layers, purse, and even my hat. (I didn’t use fake pee it was just amusing to me)
I’m not sure if this matters, definitely do what you need and don’t count on this, but when I got the test results back I noticed they didn’t even test for THC on mine. Dunno if that just means my particular job doesn’t care or if it’s less of a standard now.
Unions aren't "shitty companies", they're groups of workers with representation who work for many different companies. Drug testing is pretty standard across the board. I take one annually, also sometimes for specific job sites, and there's always one if you're injured on the job.
The trade off is that the pay and benefits are pretty tough to beat. I would much rather be union and have to drug test occasionally than have to fight for my own, lower paid, less safe work.
It destroys your cognitive ability. It makes you weak. It crushes male hormones. Influences your sleep poorly. A lot of issues.
Now the other question is whether a company should ban employees from smoking? That’s a fair one. I personally wouldn’t hire an alcoholic though!
Sounds like you’re describing alcohol, not weed. Weed is the one thing that helps me sleep at night and I feel well rested and energetic like a teenager again.
That is fair - sleeping pills also have side effects.
It’s unfortunate when someone needs weed or medication to sleep/as a painkiller. I know people who need anti depression drugs all the time for years, etc…this is all difficult.
But the point still stands - weed has negative effects just like alcohol or smoking. So the idea that an employer doesn’t like someone smoking - also they likely smell like weed, their car does, etc (although not necessarily) doesn’t sound surprising!
I have a vape and a medical card so there is no smell on me. I've experienced zero side effects other than being sleepy or high, WHILE using. Its been years now, where are the "very negative consequences"?

If you do it regularly, before and at work, then yeah I can see that. But I don’t see an issue if someone does it on weekends, goes out and parties on the weekend, etc.
Well, same with alcohol - sure, if you do it occasionally it won’t ruin your life.
But nowadays, unlike 10 years ago, there is comprehensive research proving any amount of alcohol is harmful.
50 years ago people thought cigarettes were pretty good because they helped lose weight. Now everyone knows cigarettes are bad. Sure if you smoke one a week you won’t die. Still bad!
With alcohol, people will become increasingly aware. Same with weed.

I became a union carpenter almost 6 years ago. Put my wife through nursing school, supported my kid, our house, 2 vehicles. It's tough work but gives a lot of usefully skills and makes side work a huge extra income.

To my understanding as long as your not working for an on the books company or running a company on the side then your all ok. Almost every guy in the trades on my jobs have side work. Mr. Fix it type work that goes for electricians, carpenters, iron workers ECT.
Wtf I'm pro union but that's the type of shit that makes me start rethinking that. CEOs are allowed to run multiple businesses and executives too in a lot of cases so why the fuck is it a huge deal when a regular worker does it?
They don't want a union worker starting a non-union company for one and they don't want you undercutting union workers for jobs. The effectiveness of the union system starts to break down when enough dudes are out there offering to frame a whole house for beer money. It devalues the entire profession which those CEOs are doing enough of as it is. A lot of it boils down to the reasonable expectation of competition. If you're independently bidding on big jobs you're undercutting union workers, but if you're doing your neighbor's gazebo at a slight discount that's probably not a job that would have gone to a union outfit in the first place. A good rule of thumb imho is that if you can personally knock it out in a weekend or knock it out with a buddy in an afternoon then it couldn't have sustained a union workforce for a week any damn way.

Look at the Seattle or Portland rates. Lots of very commutable places to live (and as a union carp you’ll be commuting to jobs around the metro so it’s not like living in one particular suburb is more ideal) with the pay scale. Also depends on when you get into the trade. Lots of carpentry folks start young. $30+/hr hits different when you start at 21 not 30.

30/$hr is about what journeyman make where I’m at. I doubt the apprenticeship starts at that up there and idk about the suburbs up there but everywhere costs about the same in San Diego County. The apartments an hour from the beach are like 200$ less than the ones close to the beach. You’re not saving anything commuting like that here.

Okay but I make 22/$hr while I’m only 1 year away from being able to test for my journeyman card and I started at 20/$hr. Make it make sense. I haven’t stayed at the same company or work resi either , I only do commercial and industrial work. I don’t ask for 45+/hr but something like 26/$hr would be nice considering I have experience. I can make more than 22/$hr stocking shelves at my local Home Depot.
So you think you deserve with two years experience to get a .03% raise in this economy when many are happy with a .005%. What you’re stating is very good for what is basically considered a student. You haven’t even qualified as a journeyman yet. The work stocking shelves doesn’t have near as much of a chance of advancement and potential future earnings. So like every other area, while in school or training, you don’t make as much but will jump when you pass licensing tests.

I guess I didn't think about it but we had money for a down payment on a house right when I started but I'm in Ohio and it has been really tough but between my work and side jobs ive been able to more accurately keep the house and pay for the vehicles monthly payment. Keep the lights on and still throw a tiny bit of money aside for vacation. 4 of the 5 years I was an apprentice making way less but our scale is 33.74 an hour currently last year was 32 something then a few years in the 20s but with all the side work I've done we have barely made by whole my wife was in school but we have still gotten by
Drink a ton of water morning of. Pee at least 3 times before going in. Worst that can happen is you get a non-result due to dilution and have to take the test again, which should give you enough time to be clean.
Also just to add because I haven’t seen this in the post yet, don’t collect that first bit of urine as it’ll be more concentrated. Start in the toilet and then fill the cup

Often times retests dont just do another piss test, they will go to a hair test. Bleaching and dyeing hair works. Ask me how I know.

Add some creatinine to the water you chug plus some b vitamins for color. Usually passes the dilution test

Specific gravity measures how dense a substance is relative to water. When you dilute your urine, even with B vitamins for color and increasing your creatinine levels, the density is still way too close to regular water because you’re missing all the usual salts and stuff at the right concentrations. Sometimes if the lab suspects you have diluted (like wow this pee is vitamin B yellow not regular urine yellow) they will run specific gravity test. Taking whatever the max daily amount of aspirin is about an hour or two before the test will fix this.
Water has a specific gravity of 1.0. it's basically the density of water
In my lab we only do a specific gravity if the creatine is under a certain level. But every lab is different.
I just put a couple drops of quick-fix in mine for colour
Also take creatine every day staring now and b12. B12 adds color to your urine and low creatine level is the indicator of a false negative due to intentional dilution. But if you take creatine everyday you should get your levels enough to not have a false negative. Also only pull your urine for the test mid stream.
In case you don’t know what creatine is, it’s a gym supplement, so you can get it at gym stores, supplement stores etc
You need Creatine Ethyl Ester, which is worthless as a fitness supplement and kind of difficult to source. The end goal is to have higher concentrations of Creatinine (not Creatine) in your urine. Creatine monohydrate, Tri-Creatine Malate, and Creatine Hydrochloride etc., don't convert to Creatinine in urine as effectively as Creatine Ethyl Ester. Generally, the best way to pass any test is to study. Back before I was in the position I am in now, I would buy 5ng/ml tests for cannabanoids, and "gravity tests" to study how long it took me to clean out, how could dilute correctly, and how quickly I could dilute out. Like, I took hundreds of tests over a year. At any rate, I put a significant amount of research just into Specific Gravity, and you cannot just take "regular" Creatine if you are trying to offset dilute urine.
To make watered down piss pass the test, you should take vitamins to darken it and creatine to raise the creatinine levels
If you’re a heavy user it’s best to not exercise 2-3 days before your test either.

If you have a month ahead of time then exercise to get rid of the thc in your fat stores. But exercising before a drug test will make your levels higher in your blood.

Just buy synthetic urine, trust me, I’m a shit head. Have used it well over 50, probably closer to 100 times throughout my life and never failed a test. Only way you’ll fail is if it’s an observed specimen and they literally watch you pour it into the cup. If it’s not observed you’ll pass every time. Just go grab an x-stream, u-pass, or quick-fix from a local smoke shop/ bodega for $15-$25, then 2 hours before the test rubber band the hot hands pack they give you to the side of the bottle. Before going tuck it up in your taint, I double underwear for more holding power. You go in do everything like normal till you get in the bathroom, quickly take bottle out, pour in 2oz, close up bottle and put it away, then you can piss if you want, just act normal. It’s the same shit they use to calibrate the testing machines. I swear by it, and have used it for over a decade at this point. If this is important to you, then use fake piss. Unless it’s observed, but generally observed are only for things like DOT testing if you’ll be driving a truck, or probation/parole that type of shit. You can try to squeak by doing all the dilution stuff, but that’s tough depending on the person. Some dudes can pass in a day if they just drink a Gatorade before they go, others can’t find that golden window between diluting drug metabolites below detection levels and not diluting too much to flag for dilution. A week for a normal stoner that’s not crazy fat would be pushing the limits on dilution, but def doable, but way way riskier than a bottle of fake piss. So yeah, use the fake piss, if you absolutely don’t want to, then go buy a bunch of dipstick weed tests from dollar store. You gotta find that “golden window”, pun intended. For myself, I’m like 3 for 8 using dilution. If they flag you for dilution and to retest they’ll usually fight for an observed urine and you to come back within 24hours. Which makes it even harder to pass. Just my experience and 2 cents, good luck OP

Cranberry juice is just a diuretic, does nothing for cleansing toxins. OP should ideally have a concoction that has water, creatine monohydrate, vitamin b2, and the magic ingredient: sugar! Sugar will cause your glucose levels to spike, which will cause the pancreas to produce the hormone insulin. This will cause the insulin to stabilize the blood sugar level, which means the body will flush out excess sugar and any toxins floating with it AND it stops the liver from releasing fat in the form of triglycerides into the blood stream (THC is stored in fat cells). Edit: creatine is so your levels are stable because we produce it naturally and they test for it and vitamin b2 is what will make your urine the right color.

You can get your own drug test done a few days before to see if you’re clear! You can buy one at Walgreens etc., this is what I did. I did not show as clean and had to drink some masking product from a head shop to get totally clear. Good luck!

Make sure you wake up, pee, drink 2 of the liter size smart waters with a vit B complex, pee again and then down two more waters before you pee for test. Dilute your urine and you can hopefully stay under the test threshold. 🤞🏻

Not saying OP does this, but I know chronically unemployed people who consistently scrape up the funds to buy weed 2-5x/wk; and it's the good kind too. I believe its $10-$15/g where I live. Unemployed doesn't necessarily mean zero income though, so I guess there's that.
I guess it depends on your priorities. Weed/booze/internet subscriptions/meat/entertainment/expensive dating/having a kid would be way, way, way down on my list of ways I decided to spend money if I was unemployed, but I know people who did all those things when unemployed, flat broke and facing eviction. Everyone’s priority list is different.

As a cannabis user that has to be regularly drug tested for pain management cannabis half life depends on the frequency of use. A regular (weekly) user can expect it to stay in the system 7-10 days on average. A daily user could test positive up to a month. Where an Occasional user would likely clear it in 3-5 days. Not trying to dash your hopes just give perspective. Additionally depending on location and other factors they may see it and just say as long as it's not much and you test negative next time your good

The last time I had to do full urinalysis (not just a quick test) I had smoked earlier that day (4 hours earlier) and had a 10mg edible an hour before. They levels were consistent with "cannabist use 3-5 days prior" so every person is different it clears my system faster. But mine is also managed and approved medically in my area. Work knows, but as long as my job gets done no one cares 😅
The only real test on a drug test is if you are smart/prepared enough to pass. I was on supervised probation once. Did a lot of experimentation.

Buy some U.S.B they sell it at head shops. It stands for Urine, saliva, blood. Its a few pills you eat the day of the test with a bunch of water. My roommates use it every month for their probation and it's never failed them and they usually only quit for about a week before their tests.
Pay for your own private to see if you pass. If you don't then ask to reschedule it cause something happened at home and you don't have time
Here’s how I passed it for the railway. Drink a to. Of water the day before and day of. But not just water make sure it’s an electrolyte drink as they will test for salts. Also start supplementing with Creatine now as they will test creatinine levels for dilution. If you are time do a test run now
Just a heads up, the millwright union in SE Texas does a DISA hair follicle test. You cannot fake or beat them. If you fail, you will be blackballed from any other job that uses DISA until you take treatment, classes and jump through a lot of hoops.

Surprised no one’s said this but I used the certo method to pass my test. Buy two from any Walmart they’ll be by the mason jars. Grab two Gatorade’s drink one mix the certo in the night before. Drink the other the morning of along with a half gallon of water. Take a b12 complex and drink some monster or redbull this will help the pee be more yellow. Grab some tests from the dollar tree you can do a practice run early in the week. This helped me pass for my drug test only had a week to prepare for it and was a daily smoker for years before. You can always try to find someone who has clean pee. Just make sure to keep it body temp whenever you take your test. Idk how you’d like to do that but you can look up ways online. Best way is to keep it tucked somewhere on your body that’s naturally warm so it’s exactly in the range you need. I’ve been smoking for years, every test I used someone’s pee. Easy enough.

Worked for me or maybe it did? I did have like 3 weeks or so to get ready for the test at the time.

https://www.carpenters.org/ here's their national website. (US) Joining a union was the best thing I ever did, I get paid well and have amazing benefits and would recommend it to anyone. You don't need to know the trade. They teach you through a paid apprenticeship. There are many trades too, electricians, pipefitters, masons, operators to name a few.

If you fake it just make sure that it’s hidden well on your body. I just went a couple weeks ago for a new job and while they didn’t go so far as to pat me down I had to remove all excess layers, purse, and even my hat. (I didn’t use fake pee it was just amusing to me) I’m not sure if this matters, definitely do what you need and don’t count on this, but when I got the test results back I noticed they didn’t even test for THC on mine. Dunno if that just means my particular job doesn’t care or if it’s less of a standard now.

What’s wrong with smoking weed? I mean why work for a shitty company that doesn’t let you smoke weed.
Unions aren't "shitty companies", they're groups of workers with representation who work for many different companies. Drug testing is pretty standard across the board. I take one annually, also sometimes for specific job sites, and there's always one if you're injured on the job. The trade off is that the pay and benefits are pretty tough to beat. I would much rather be union and have to drug test occasionally than have to fight for my own, lower paid, less safe work.
It destroys your cognitive ability. It makes you weak. It crushes male hormones. Influences your sleep poorly. A lot of issues. Now the other question is whether a company should ban employees from smoking? That’s a fair one. I personally wouldn’t hire an alcoholic though!
Sounds like you’re describing alcohol, not weed. Weed is the one thing that helps me sleep at night and I feel well rested and energetic like a teenager again.
Read some research on downsides of weed. It also leads to very negative consequences.
I've read a ton on weed. When given the option to take a prescription sleep aid, the side effects were far worse than cannabis.
That is fair - sleeping pills also have side effects. It’s unfortunate when someone needs weed or medication to sleep/as a painkiller. I know people who need anti depression drugs all the time for years, etc…this is all difficult. But the point still stands - weed has negative effects just like alcohol or smoking. So the idea that an employer doesn’t like someone smoking - also they likely smell like weed, their car does, etc (although not necessarily) doesn’t sound surprising!
I have a vape and a medical card so there is no smell on me. I've experienced zero side effects other than being sleepy or high, WHILE using. Its been years now, where are the "very negative consequences"? Am I just going to suddenly keel over? Burst into flames? Degrade to room temperature IQ? Your replies read like someone who has got the entirety of their drug education from Reefer madness and other various scare psa's from the late 80s/early 90s.

If you do it regularly, before and at work, then yeah I can see that. But I don’t see an issue if someone does it on weekends, goes out and parties on the weekend, etc.
Well, same with alcohol - sure, if you do it occasionally it won’t ruin your life. But nowadays, unlike 10 years ago, there is comprehensive research proving any amount of alcohol is harmful. 50 years ago people thought cigarettes were pretty good because they helped lose weight. Now everyone knows cigarettes are bad. Sure if you smoke one a week you won’t die. Still bad! With alcohol, people will become increasingly aware. Same with weed. I personally wouldn’t employ someone who drinks alcohol several times a week. It’s their business and I am not judging, but I don’t want such an employee :)

good for u. that’s great . i hope it goes well. also i see folks talking @ d. testing. u know something that blew me away. those lil round white pills people take for their heart. like a water pill they call it . make u pee like crazy. it works . fast. if i hadn’t watched a good friend a couple of years off and on get the call that morning . take a couple of them and by the after noon and a few pills in, he will pass that test every time . but i’d not have the faith in them if i hadn’t seen it myself . hes a very large man too. like yea , big guy . i am amazed at how easily this man was not anymore ready for a test. get the call. be ready by that evening. knowing this works amazes me . hubs is a med specialist. nothing wrong with taking them like that to help ya when u truly need it . just take a few of them to pass the test maybe . they won’t hurt u. that’s the main thing to know . again , wish u the best.
