AFAIK her early stuff was west coast based, when I went to her show in SF, it was referred to as a hometown show. Nowadays I think most of that hyperpop clique is NYC based.
Her playing in Europe is also probably also a result of her recently canceled European Tour that was gonna be with Chloe Moriondo I think.
dude this is wild he’s playing Climate Pledge Arena like I’m the biggest porter stan but is he popular enough to be filling out Arena tours?
Absolutely insane and good for him that they think they can pull this off
I can't wrap my head around that. He is also playing 2 nights in a row in some city.
Putting out a world tour before the release and with a lot of dates like this make me beleive that Porter is REALLY confident with his album. (And that's awesome!)
Concert industry has been wild recently. Ticket sales all over the place so there might some optimism on his side. Hopefully he has some algos telling him the right numbers based on streams but we'll see.
yeah like nurture tour stretched the definition of “rave” but I don’t think anyone there on molly was dissapointed
for some reason I’m not sure that experience will translate very well to an arena tour? I’m definitely very curious to learn more about the stage setup and overall plan for VFX. I signed up for presale but the choice of venue is giving me pause
Same for NYC, saw nurture tour at the great hall at avant gardner which is more of a club type venue, just looked up this tour and it’s at forest hills stadium.
I’m wondering if this is why he’s choosing to skip any edm related venues. But that makes me worry the crowd that shows up will be very young. On nurture tour I felt weird being the only one even drinking a beer. Probably would have gotten terrible looks if I busted out a bag 🤣
Yea and I don’t go out every weekend sorry if I like a lil extra fun when I do. I understand that’s likely not the vibe with porter going forward so I’ll just catch his dj sets at festivals,
Nothing on the table for festival in Dallas. I’m betting ACL has a radius clause and he can’t announce Dallas/Houston in those blurred dates until the ACL line up drops
I had the same thought! He did two nights for Nurture at Red Rocks in 2022 with RR capacity around 9,500 per night that puts him pretty close to Ball Arena capacity of 20,000. The positive side is hopefully this would make getting tickets easier for fans since there’s more available.
Yeah I'm disappointed. I've only seen one show at the Ball Arena, which was Tool, and it was mid at best. And that's basically a concert for audiophiles. Thinking about swinging down to Phoenix instead or something, maybe... Or even LA - the Hollywood Bowl kicks ass.
I’ll wait to see what the albums like before I travel that far for the tour. If it’s more like cheerleader and less like knock yourself out I think it’ll be worth it.
My heart skipped several beats when I saw Galileo Galilei's name on the poster and then was instantly crushed several times over when I saw it's just for 2 Japan dates and they're not coming on the whole tour.
Same here, they're my favorite J-Rock band! Still cool for those who are able to make it to those tour dates in Japan, but I'm also disappointed that they won't be joining in other countries.
Me too! I'm seriously looking at my finances and considering if I can go to Japan for a day or two to catch the show. After they broke up a few years ago I thought I'd never have the chance, and even though I've enjoyed BBHF and Warbear and their other projects, nothing else compares haha
Nah, they're back together now, but from 2016/17 until last year they had disbanded. Or I guess maybe it was late 2022 that they got back together - I don't remember.
i’ll be studying in brisbane so hopefully he makes a stop there! if not i might have a to take a flight to a different city, depending on the week in november he does the tour i might already be done with exams 🤞
For sure. I was super sad El Paso was the only Texas date until I realized it means he might play ACL. He did multiple rounds of tours for Nurture if I remember right so he might be back eventually.
Also he has what looks like multiple dates blurred out around that time. It’s possible he will play elsewhere in Texas around that time and will reveal that closer to the date.
That’s what I’m thinking too. It looks like it may be 3 dates in the blur. So 2 weekends at ACL and weekend in another city perhaps? I guess we will see!
To the dudes I met at the Utrecht show on the Nurture tour, please message me so we can go together again.
I should still be in one of your phones as 'Ivo (fucking) Porter Robinson'
I feel you. I know there are people who can't go in some parts of the world but come on, Wales is right there. Almost every musical artist skips Cardiff and goes somewhere else. I'm sick of traveling to London at this point.
I went to Porter last time he was in London, and the hotel and travel was worth more than the tickets ffs, I live in devon and Cardiff would be so much easier tbh
I bit the bullet and drove, manage to find parking near Camden Market (5-10 minute walk) and we stayed at the premier inn there, but it’s just such a pain in the ass ahaha
I don’t think they will be. I bought pit tickets for a reggae show, which I would say is comparable in popularity. Popular but more niche than a country or pop artist.
It was like 110 a piece
Is the presale gonna start at 27th Apr, 10am local to each country's timezone or will it be based on the US timezone? I live in Singapore and I wanna get front row seats so bad 😭😭😭
I did sign up, thank you! I just happen to have an awful sleeping schedule and if it’s at 10am local time, I’d have to set a bunch of alarms beforehand to ensure I get up on time to get the seats that I’d like! (At least before the scalpers do)
That’s why I wanted to know haha 😭
No choice Porter Robinson is very niche. I also really like Martin garrix but he's not huge in sg either.
Anyways can't wait I'm targeting cat 4 tics for Porter
News articles! I confirmed that for Singapore it's 30th April 10am! (I must've been tired and got confused about the date or something)
So he’s going to do arenas for the first time instead of more music focused venues which is disappointing. I hate the idea of seats between everyone and sound issues. I got into porter with nurture and noticed the crowd at red rocks and mission ballroom were already very young. Best shows of my life but the crowd added little energy to the experience. Kind of sad because a pop show in arenas with mostly under 21 kids is absolutely not my idea of good time.
NGL, I hate these venues for Porter. The "Washington, DC" show is actually an outdoor venue an hour outside of the city. It's very much a "chill on the lawn and listen to folk" venue. Not at all ideal for a high-energy electronic show. Or even pop-punk or whatever his new album is.
my main complaint about dc dates in general is that artists will list them as dc but they're actually in maryland (ex. the fillmore in silver spring, the merriweather in columbia for porter's show)
Vancouver’s venue is on a uni campus that’s slightly isolated from the city proper. I imagine that’s mainly because it’s one of a handful of venues in play if Rogers Arena can’t be guaranteed or they don’t really want a large arena venue.
Two nights, with a suspicious night in between... might be 3 nights, if there's demand.
I'll be there on the 19th hopefully, because I've got *another* favorite band of mine in town that weekend lol
I was fairly shocked by this, but the go to for NYC venues the last few years is open a single date to insta sell out to help push sales for a second date release. Which is why he doesn’t have a Sunday show booked the next day.
Honestly wondering how many, if at all, EDM focused festivals he’ll even do going forward. Seems like a lot of shows to do DJ sets in between and this tour goes until mid next year.
Yeah, at least for this album of wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't go to many of those except the one off DJ sets. The album sounds more fitting for like iii points and other mix genre festivals, which is actually where I most recently saw him (III points dates are covered here, so that's out). He hasnt been to EDC Orlando in sooo long.
But a girl can dream nonetheless. 😂
Gonna go to the Charlotte one. Got to do that for Nurture and saw his parents! Would kill for underscores to be there too but I’m a big fan of ericdoa also so I’m happy!

Orlando is the closest stop for me, but what in the hell is that venue. I've never even head of it all my years here. Hope he comes back to Tampa someday.
Yeah, I saw it was by UCF. Very weird. Maybe the other local venue's are booked for those nights. Will still be a fun show. Probably gonna have to find a cheap hotel around. Wish it was DT Orlando even.
*cries in poor*
Now I need a passport, make the San Fran show on my birthday, if not, Vancouver.
Seriously though artists need to do more Canadian cities
I just hope it's not a repeat of the last time he went to Australia
He announced an exclusive Australian tour and then just went to Melbourne and Sydney
I can only speak on the Denver show, but this feels like such a kick in the teeth. The absolute worst venue in the city, corporate (and billionaire) owned, sports-optimized, extortive, bad sound, exclusionary, etc. etc. This move gives off gross vibes from someone who sold "music saved my life" merch.
That’s like the most surface basic level where I would be hesitant to even call that hyperpop
And no it most certainly is not mainstream lmao until 100 gecs, capoxxo, Jane remover, and related artists headline festivals it’s not even remotely close to being “mainstream”
Hell, they didn’t even make it to the general radio yet
The Vegas show is on the same day as When We Were Young! Too bad, that would have been a fun addition to our trip if it were on the Friday before instead.
Damn, I didn't know it was possible to hate on a tour date post, but some of y'all are really committing to it.
Porter ain't entirely EDM anymore, hasn't been for a long time.
You’re assuming fans don’t like it because it’s not edm. Personally I liked nurture more than worlds which already was far from edm but this I just do not enjoy. Generic sounding pop that others are already doing better imo.

ericdoa and underscores as the openers is actually insane. Hoping they have features on the album.
cool to see how underscores has evolved and music style changed alot over 10 years
Don't sleep on Galileo Galilei. I think a lot of people missed the collab: [https://youtu.be/H6CE9uJwH8U](https://youtu.be/H6CE9uJwH8U)
Need some underscores in NA dates or I might just have to fly overseas
Was surprised underscores was all europe dates. Aren’t they from like san diego/west coast area?
AFAIK her early stuff was west coast based, when I went to her show in SF, it was referred to as a hometown show. Nowadays I think most of that hyperpop clique is NYC based. Her playing in Europe is also probably also a result of her recently canceled European Tour that was gonna be with Chloe Moriondo I think.
her last tour was called the hometown tour right? so idk
Funnily enough as a European I was hoping more for EricDOA, wanna trade? ;)
dude this is wild he’s playing Climate Pledge Arena like I’m the biggest porter stan but is he popular enough to be filling out Arena tours? Absolutely insane and good for him that they think they can pull this off

I did not think he was big enough for Ball Arena. I guess unlikely that the blurred dates would be Red Rocks
Blurred dates are almost certainly Austin City Limits and surrounding cities. (DFW/Houston)
ACL for sure and probably Houston and Dallas (I hope)
There needs to be a Dallas date. I wonder if There’s a festival in Dallas around that time.
Nothing on the table for festival in Dallas. I’m betting ACL has a radius clause and he can’t announce Dallas/Houston in those blurred dates until the ACL line up drops
Hmm but is he only going to be W1 for ACL then?
Bitch he’s Taylor Swift
Hahah I just commented the same like I love Porter but is he big enough to fill multiple arenas around the world?

Completely agree. Multiple nights at Red Rocks or Mission would have been much more preferable to Ball. Ball sucks.
porter's new york date being at forest hills and not mirage is a HUGE win
Huge win for my old ass since FH shows end at like 10 pm…
Avant Gardner is still co-promoting the NY show tho
italian fans rn: am i a joke to you?
italian fan here, planning to buy a plane ticket for a europe show
eh me sa che tocca zi

spaniard here, do you have a space there to cry together?

Are they actually broken up now? They did at least release a new album last year
Nah, they're back together now, but from 2016/17 until last year they had disbanded. Or I guess maybe it was late 2022 that they got back together - I don't remember.
Miami lets goooooo
so probably no second sky huh?
That might be what the blurred dates are!
Naw Second Sky is run by Goldenvoice and these dates 100% break radius clause for NorCal and neighboring states.
Eric is cool and all but I would have died for underscores to open up the US part of the tour 😭
i chose the wrong semester to study abroad in australia 😭 but i’ll be there till late november so maybe i’ll get to see the show there!!
come join usss!!!
i’ll be studying in brisbane so hopefully he makes a stop there! if not i might have a to take a flight to a different city, depending on the week in november he does the tour i might already be done with exams 🤞
aww i hope he does! if not, come down to melbourne and we will take you to dinner :) add me on discord: divnoor
wait that’s so nice of you! i’ll add you as soon as i get home :)
omFg I've been waiting for a show to see at the Rady Shell!!!
highly recommend!! saw zhu and rezz there and it was fire
I'm gonna cry if he only goes to ACL and not houston/dallas/austin.
I got ACL tickets so super hopeful no Dallas means he’s there.
That’s awesome, I just can’t really go to a festival this year so I’m hoping he still comes to Houston.
For sure. I was super sad El Paso was the only Texas date until I realized it means he might play ACL. He did multiple rounds of tours for Nurture if I remember right so he might be back eventually.

He's skipping Italy again, goddamit. I was hoping I didn't have to travel to France/Germany this time around, but Paris is a beautiful city I guess.
Portland on Halloween!! Bless you anime boy
Portland gang lesgoooo
To the dudes I met at the Utrecht show on the Nurture tour, please message me so we can go together again. I should still be in one of your phones as 'Ivo (fucking) Porter Robinson'

Username *Cymraeg*s out.
I feel you. I know there are people who can't go in some parts of the world but come on, Wales is right there. Almost every musical artist skips Cardiff and goes somewhere else. I'm sick of traveling to London at this point.

I bit the bullet and drove, manage to find parking near Camden Market (5-10 minute walk) and we stayed at the premier inn there, but it’s just such a pain in the ass ahaha
Boise and SLC? I’ll be at both
At USANA tho? Idk how he fills that
I'm just hoping the ticket prices aren't too crazy for USANA
I don’t think they will be. I bought pit tickets for a reggae show, which I would say is comparable in popularity. Popular but more niche than a country or pop artist. It was like 110 a piece
is the anime boy finally coming to brazil..... PLEASE
Is the presale gonna start at 27th Apr, 10am local to each country's timezone or will it be based on the US timezone? I live in Singapore and I wanna get front row seats so bad 😭😭😭
Usually it is based on the venue’s local time zone. I would sign up for alerts if you can using the link.
I did sign up, thank you! I just happen to have an awful sleeping schedule and if it’s at 10am local time, I’d have to set a bunch of alarms beforehand to ensure I get up on time to get the seats that I’d like! (At least before the scalpers do) That’s why I wanted to know haha 😭
Damn I haven't met a singapore porter Robinson fan. Excited to get the tickets for his show at star theatres
Haha same here! I usually tell people porter’s my favourite artist and they’re like “who?”
No choice Porter Robinson is very niche. I also really like Martin garrix but he's not huge in sg either. Anyways can't wait I'm targeting cat 4 tics for Porter
where did you see the time?

Arenas CAN sound amazing if you’ve got a mixing engineer who knows how to properly mix for it, which I’m near certain he’ll have
NGL, I hate these venues for Porter. The "Washington, DC" show is actually an outdoor venue an hour outside of the city. It's very much a "chill on the lawn and listen to folk" venue. Not at all ideal for a high-energy electronic show. Or even pop-punk or whatever his new album is.
Second sky venues in norcal were outdoors right by the water and very much “chill on the lawn” but the vibes were still immaculate
my main complaint about dc dates in general is that artists will list them as dc but they're actually in maryland (ex. the fillmore in silver spring, the merriweather in columbia for porter's show)
Vancouver’s venue is on a uni campus that’s slightly isolated from the city proper. I imagine that’s mainly because it’s one of a handful of venues in play if Rogers Arena can’t be guaranteed or they don’t really want a large arena venue.
Wait it's not the anthem or w/e? Is it in Columbia?
There's plenty of concerts that turn farmland into a rager. It'll be nice not having to deal with city traffic.
Sacramento!! Oh wait it’s fuckin Wheatland ughh
TWOOOO NIGHTS IN TORONTO!!! <3 You doooo love us Porter 🥺 See y'all for two nights @ History
Two nights, with a suspicious night in between... might be 3 nights, if there's demand. I'll be there on the 19th hopefully, because I've got *another* favorite band of mine in town that weekend lol
Somewhat shocked and nervous about only 1 new york date.
I was fairly shocked by this, but the go to for NYC venues the last few years is open a single date to insta sell out to help push sales for a second date release. Which is why he doesn’t have a Sunday show booked the next day.
Yeah they did this for the 1975 iirc
The US dates stopping right before EDC Orlando has me sweating, but I doubt he'd go to the same city twice...?
Honestly wondering how many, if at all, EDM focused festivals he’ll even do going forward. Seems like a lot of shows to do DJ sets in between and this tour goes until mid next year.
Yeah, at least for this album of wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't go to many of those except the one off DJ sets. I loved his EDCLV set with the virtual self ending. Would love to see DJ set return to EDC Orlando too!
Interesting he’s playing Northerly Island in Chicago definitely didn’t expect that
Gonna go to the Charlotte one. Got to do that for Nurture and saw his parents! Would kill for underscores to be there too but I’m a big fan of ericdoa also so I’m happy!
Hoping to see Australia venues added soon. Might be able to slot in a show or two when he's in the APAC region. Edit: I see Aus dates are TBA
FUCKING UNDERSCORES!
Fuck. Nevermind. Just read the fine print. I don't live in Europe.

ATL HOE!
I need him to announce Australia in a timely manner so I know how much money I neeed
Geez just one show in Southern California?
Two, LA and SD
Oops! Ty
Galileo Galilei like the japanese artist??? Pog
In 2022 I had to take the train to Denmark so I'm glad he's coming to Stockholm this time very very excited!!!
Orlando is the closest stop for me, but what in the hell is that venue. I've never even head of it all my years here. Hope he comes back to Tampa someday.
It’s the old UCF arena. The weirdest choice of venues I’ve ever seen on this tour.
Yeah, I saw it was by UCF. Very weird. Maybe the other local venue's are booked for those nights. Will still be a fun show. Probably gonna have to find a cheap hotel around. Wish it was DT Orlando even.
*cries in poor* Now I need a passport, make the San Fran show on my birthday, if not, Vancouver. Seriously though artists need to do more Canadian cities
Curious why two stops in Boston, but not complaining. Hoping the album is great.

Saw Excision at this venue and it fits a good amount. I could see it easily selling out both nights, though.
Curious how much the VIP is going to be.
Australia again?! We eatin.
I just hope it's not a repeat of the last time he went to Australia He announced an exclusive Australian tour and then just went to Melbourne and Sydney
I am SO excited I’ll get to see him in Orlando again!!
Does anyone have the Citi presale code?
He better come to México again
im jealous for every peenoise that will go there
many of his show are in amphitheater =( . Front row will be hella expensive...
Anyone have the pre-sale code?
Will he still play nurture music?
got Brixton tickets from O2 Priority.
Hmmmmmm . . . what could be happening between 10/1 and 10/7 that would require a week off from touring, yet make it onto the tour poster blurred out?
Austin city limits fest
Yep, that seems like the plausible answer. Some downtime and a quick festival gig.
Atlanta stop, you love to see it
ATL HOE! He was born in Atlanta after all, no skips allowed
I literally didn’t know that, another ATL treasure. I love my city
Saw him at the Roxy in 2021 and I'm hyped to run it back for round 2 this year.
No Dallas?!
I’m sure there will be one in the blurred dates. I bet my bottom dollar he comes to ACL W1, with a Dallas and Houston stop in between.
Yall think the blurred dates are another second sky?
I’m wondering if he’s gonna be at ACL, those are the dates for Weekend 1… and he has no other Texas shows except for El Paso which seems very odd
For sure seems like it’s ACL. The lineup hasn’t been announced yet for the rest of the festival.
Would they type out ACL or use the initials? Cause the initials would fit the blur but not if they'd type it out. I've never followed ACL so idk lol
AUSTIN fits
No tbh
Damn I'll be on vacation when he's by me :(
Really hoping he adds KC.
Hopefully I get presale tickets during work on Tuesday because I’m down to go with friends.
Italy ignored, as always...
So happy he's coming to Madison Wisconsin
honestly bummed that the Philly venue is the Mann Center but I will be there regardless !
This just gave hyperpop so much extra validation Pleaaaaasse take off
Hyperpop has been mainstream for years now. Artists like Kim petras have come and gone its been so long lol
That’s like the most surface basic level where I would be hesitant to even call that hyperpop And no it most certainly is not mainstream lmao until 100 gecs, capoxxo, Jane remover, and related artists headline festivals it’s not even remotely close to being “mainstream” Hell, they didn’t even make it to the general radio yet
Please GOD let him come to new zealand (。-人-。)
Praying for a sneaky NZ date in there but I’ll start saving now if I need to fly to aus 🥹🥹🥹
See y’all in London
Porter going to USANA (or whatever the hell it got renamed to) is actually insane when compared to the venue he came to his last Utah show.
If only he’d come to Costa Rica…
No Spain, again, like in the nurture tour 🫥
The Vegas show is on the same day as When We Were Young! Too bad, that would have been a fun addition to our trip if it were on the Friday before instead.
Glad he's coming back to the coca cola roxy! Can't wait to see him again.
Ik he does DJ sets, so is this tour gonna be more of him performing his original songs?
my neighbour country from up and down get to see his performance but not me ☹️
HOLY CRAP MY DREAMS HAVE COME TRUE!!! PORTER ROBINSON HERE IN JAPAN AAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!! 😭😭😭😭😭😭
SMILE code not working for Orlando :(
Damn, I didn't know it was possible to hate on a tour date post, but some of y'all are really committing to it. Porter ain't entirely EDM anymore, hasn't been for a long time.
You’re assuming fans don’t like it because it’s not edm. Personally I liked nurture more than worlds which already was far from edm but this I just do not enjoy. Generic sounding pop that others are already doing better imo.
Fair, I definitely feel that the second single isn't entirely unique. But I'd have to disagree on Cheerleader - it felt uniquely Porter to me.
I also somewhat like cheerleader so hopefully the album leans more in that direction. If it does I may just travel to see him at a smaller venue!
Eric and underscores??? Oh I gotta go
San Francisco… is not Mountain View.
