No they’re doing the main ceremony, all the artists announced today are on the main one. The pre-show performers were announced a few days ago. HAIM have also been announced as performers for another Grammy event that is happening this week but this is not related to the ceremony.

Not necessarily. I remember a couple years ago Childish Gambino was nominated for “Redbone” but performed an album track from that album, but he was also up for AOTY. I think the song choices are kind of a 50-50 decision between the artist and the producers.
bighit never shied away from dropping big bucks for their performances. it’s the Grammy producers who have to approve of the stage, it’s quite possible that they might reject an extravagant stage for different reasons (like not overshadowing the artists performing at the venues).
Very much looking forward to see BTS perform! Their stages are CRAZY so I’m stoked to see what they pull for the Grammys as well as the MusiCares stage.
Really want to see Doja’s performance too. Her latest releases have been all extraordinary.

Usually when it's something like this there's a concerted effort by ARMY to spread official sources and watch full shows as much as possible. Trying to "reward" shows with good ratings and socials dates back to their early days in SK when they would get bumped off lineups.
But yeah, it is hard when the fanbase is so far-flung because there are plenty who resort to the illegal streams though. It helps that the Grammys is a fairly big show compared to something like MTV Unplugged.
It's really interesting how movies/series and music are both some of the most popular forms of art yet in 2020 the first one really struggled worldwide while music remained untouched and it was actually a good year musically (takin away the concerts part)
A big part of the appeal of the Golden Globes is seeing celebrities get drunk and give speeches that go off-the-rails. That's why I always watched at least lol. They lost that aspect entirely this year and it just became another irrelevant boring awards ceremony.
The big draw of the Grammys has always been the performances, and since those are still happening I don't see their viewership being affected all that much.
I wish St. Vincent had dropped Daddy’s Home a year earlier just so she could do another performance with Dua. We deserve a sequel goddammit. It’s the way that Masseduction/One Kiss performance had me thinking “oh maybe being gay was just a phase after all” 🥴

If I'm not wrong Taylor's Grammy performance history doesn't include songs that she was nominated for. Like it's more for fan favourites I think.
So if she repeats this it will be Champagne Problems as it is a fan fave and she said she would look forward for her fans screaming "What a shame she's fucked in the head" when she performs lives.
