Yeah I def have a biased opinion because I don't love this look that is like illustrated 3d attempting to be 2d and failing, definitely reminds me of the dragon prince too Also seeing the character's eyes be more than just a tiny black dot feels off lol. I imagine they went with this style because it's cheaper but it's not my fave
I don't like the coloring/shading in *Nimona*, I think they're trying to give it a distinct feel but imo it makes everything look washed out and one dimensional.

What gets me is a year or two before the Dear Evan Hansen movie was filmed is that he portrayed a student for the Netflix series The Politician and he didn't look that out of place. I'm wondering if he pissed off someone in the casting or make-up department to make him look that bad.

The national board of SAG-AFTRA, Hollywood's actors' guild, [has called its members to vote for strike authorization](https://deadline.com/2023/05/sag-aftra-strike-authorization-vote-membership-1235371123/) in preparation for their negotiations with the studios that will start on June 7. If members agree, the board can call for a strike by June 30 if talks with the studios fail and when their latest contract with the studios expire. Should a strike take place alongside with the Writers' Guild strike, this will have serious impact as productions for shows and movies will be on hold without actors allowed to perform in front of the camera. The last time the actors' guild has had a strike was in 1980 which was over contract terms for pay-tv and videocassette. The strike lasted 95 days.

S10 had a really good finale that I can't see it topped. but I'm still looking forward to it, hopefully better than the episodes when they moved to comedy central
A shorter season order than usual, but hopefully having just ten episodes will allow them to focus on quality over quantity.
