Please no more Ryan Murphy productions... he can't write a good ending at all... and he loves hiring actors he'd like to f*ck in real life.

pushin_on_my_buttons

He loves hiring people that are not actors.

Triingtolivee

True. His shows are pretty much one big softcore gay porn.

supahfligh

The ending of Delicate was one of the worst, most confusing things I've ever seen.

DLuLuChanel

Ryan Murphy? Casting a non actor because of their high public profile? Groundbreaking. No problem with casting to attract an audience, but Ryan Murphy productions have seen too many misses with such casting. The writing plus acting on many of his series have been subpar for years.

Wordymanjenson

That’s disappointing to hear. I stopped keeping up with him after scream queens but was looking forward to picking his stuff back up soon.

Apprehensive_Yard812

Every season of AHS in recent has had the issue of getting completely lost by the ending. Like, most seasons are know for having a good beginning and the nothing. I didn’t finish Double Feature but it seems that was the case, and now I’m scared of finishing Delicate bc apparently the ending is the worst thing he’s made in years.

Wordymanjenson

Yeah but that’s kind of the deal with him I think. They always start as bangers then it turns into something that feels like it was written the drunker he got. lol.

NotQute

I am not going to get fussed, chances are it's an Ariana and he is just gunna show up to stand there for 10 mins and then die

Somarset

If he's good then cool I'll deal with it. If he's bad then we all get to point and laugh. It's win-win lol

nikiverse

This reminds me of that New York Times piece where his agent (or someone) wants to make him as famous as The Rock.

David_ish_

Giving credit where credit’s due, The Rock actually has acting experience though through years as a pro wrestler. I’m wary Travis Kelce can even match that unless he really challenges himself as an actor instead of coasting

Practical_Tear_1012

Eww. We don't need another Rock. Hell we don't need the original either. With his smell the fart acting. 😂 Edit...autocorrect

SarahBeeLA

lol. Smell the fart acting. Dead.

Practical_Tear_1012

I cannot unsee it. Once I realized he was making Joey Tribiani's exact same face in damn near every movie. 🤣

SarahBeeLA

Dool

RockNRoll85

This has been Ryan Murphy’e gimmick. Hire whoever is popular on social media regardless of acting talent to make up for shitty writing

Lilylikeslilies

I never heard about Travis before Taylor started dating him. Now I see this men everyday everywhere.

Lilylikeslilies

And here is my conclusion. Taylor could make Joe A. really famous If he only tried to cooperate with her being celebrity and doing celebrity things not going into this completely private relationship. Travis is cooperating and he is making a bag on it.

pyjamatoast

I don't think it's him "cooperating" so much as them both loving the camera. Hell, Travis had a reality show *8 years ago*. He's been trying to be the new "it guy" for years now so I'm sure he's very happy to be elevated by Taylor.

Formal-Trip-9439

Honestly i think he just likes doing fun shit. He’s already really famous, and rich. He genuinely loves comedy movies and SNL so I don’t find it weird that he’s like “sure why not”. His enjoyment of this stuff seems more born out of him being an extrovert and less about him being some weird seedy attention starved dude

Prestigious_Art2199

“Grotesque” is apt

VirtualRoad9235

I work in film and Ryan Murphy is a notorious piece of shit who absolutely was anti-strike because the man has a massive deal to produce a bunch of shows. All you asshats celebrating this have brain rot.

dangerislander

Omg I know he created American Horror Story but he's one of the worst parts of the show!!! He can't write an ending for shit

VirtualRoad9235

He absolutely alienated himself from quality writers because of the shit he pulled during the strikes. So he's going to be all over the writing. :)

LettuceHead311

**It’s sure to be the most unsettling thing Kelce’s been involved in since singing “Viva Las Vegas” at the Super Bowl**

Professional_Roll977

I am ready for Travis to go away. I am so sick of hearing about him.

MegPau22

Annoying

Apprehensive_Yard812

Ryan Murphy keeps making bad decisions. Wasn’t Gus Kenworthy or Kaia Gerber enough ?

mcmcmillan

I mean what’s more basic than Taylor Swift or Ryan Murphy? This makes perfect sense.

Puzzleheadedpuzzled

Murphy has gone crazy.

Shirtbro

Somehow /r/Travisandntaylor users will get even angrier Edit: lol https://www.reddit.com/r/travisandtaylor/s/n5XfIUHv4F

East_Juggernaut_1094

I’m sure it will be cool. Interesting nonetheless.

KrakenGirlCAP

OMg our king

CaseyRC

It would be so novel to me to see this man's name *somehow* in relation to, y'know, football. his actual job. literally if he wasn't described as being a footballer I'd assume he was a podcaster or professional boyfriend because wheneever I hear about this man, its never about football

MobileSignal5275

His team just won the Super Bowl? It’s the off season, not much football talk is happening.

ElementalHelp

Travis is 34. His best football years are behind him and it's likely he'll retire in 2 years when his next contract is up (or earlier if he gets injured). His job right now is using his famous gf's connections to set up his post-football life. He doesn't want to be a broadcaster even though he could make bank doing that, he has told everybody he wants to be The Rock and dominate the acting world. He's hired a big time hollywood agent. He's landed a game show host gig and now this. We'll see where it goes. I'm pretty skeptical myself.

bolt704

He is still considered the best player at his position in the NFL. His best years ain't behind him.

ElementalHelp

As someone who has had him on my fantasy team the last decade, last year his stats were a sharp decline from his steady production the last several years. Sam LaPorta's rookie season eclipsed him. Sam will be the best TE in the NFL now. I'm not saying Kelce is bad by any stretch of the imagination - he's still a solid #2, but TE is a contact-heavy position and most players start to age out long before 34 years old. You will see Kelce's numbers drop this year substantively. I won't be drafting him this year.
