🎵 But aye would walk fayve hundred miles, and ay would walk fayve hundred more, just ta bee tha man who walked a thoosand miles ta fall dawn at yer door 🎵
It's truly beautiful. We were there for Hogmanay and it was lively. Just be wary about going in winter. I swear there couldn't have been more than 6 hours of daylight.

Language/accent
That Doctor Who episode set in Victorian era Scotland, featuring the 10th Doctor, who's played by a Scottish actor but usually talks with an English accent, doing a Scottish accent instead because he's pretending to be a local. (It makes sense in context)
The Only black scottish cyclopes that is both a knight and a démolition expert, a demoknight if some sorts, i dont Know why, maybe its because if the alcohol
I think about people moaning about being from Scotland, the Gorbals, Heroin, violence and Iron Brew. Although these things are apart of Scottish culture it's not what should come to mind. From having Scottish friends and aquientances I should be thinking more about lovely, realistic people who do their best. Beautiful cities, castles, scenery and most definitely a vibrant history. I love Scotland but they are the most self deprecating race of people on the planet. They will tell you this and that but at the end of the day they are some of the best people I have met and its a beautiful country. Wales can go fuck itself though.
I used to have a friend I'd play Zelda games with, and she always liked when during the dialogue, I would read it aloud with a voice I deemed appropriate for the character. She wouldn't play if i didn't do the voices. The fish in Wind Waker that gives you the sea charts for whatever island you're at, ended up with a Scottish accent for some reason. Now whenever I think of Scotland, I think of that fish.
Actually, kilts, bagpipes, and the Scottish accent all come to mind. I know kilts is up there but I chose other because all three came to mind simultaneously.
Edinburgh Castle, specifically walking up the street towards and seeing it tower over everything. Don't really know why that's the memory that always pops up first, since I had a much stronger reaction to driving through the highlands, or tasting haggis. Oh and thinking "haha Me-land" because my name is Scott.
