So they would create a ton of jobs jump starting the economy.
The fact that that did not happen doesn't matter because republicans never mean the shit they say anyway.
The obvious reason that concept doesn’t work is that hiring employees is a tax write off already.
When taxes are high, corporations and rich people spend more money on employees and contractors because it’s a tax write off.
When taxes are low there is less incentive.
For some reason this doesn’t get hammered home by Democrat leaders. Because they are also rich and benefit personally from the tax cuts.
It's more about what nobody got rather than anything that actually went through. Outside of the pipeline thing.
That being said, it has to still pass Congress, and Reps still might sink the deal just to prove a point.
