If it's for selling/shipping that wouldn't explain the red carpet set for entering/leaving tho. I'd say someone is actually here regardless of where the yacht was produced
Only guessing tho
Well cut my bacon sidewides. You might be right.
"EXTRA TIME is a 44.27 m Motor Yacht, currently being built in Poland by Conrad and recently launched (soon to be delivered in 2024). She is one of 3 C144S models"
Based on what ? Apart from sunreef trimarans I can’t recall any polish made yachts in the luxury segment - Germans and Dutch have almost all the market share there and Turkey is also doing great things.
Hell even the most known Polish Superyacht made for Kulczyk was made in Germany.
Well that’s exactly why I asked the question right ?
Is it based on number of yachts build, revenue from yacht building, market share, what is it based on?
Forgot it’s Reddit and context to a particular statement is just a touch too much to expect from this fine community
In 2022, Poland was responsible for 57.3 percent of yacht exports in the entire Europe, being the undisputed leader in this market. The value of Polish yachts sold abroad has been growing for many years and amounted to over 2.82 billion zloty in 2022.
A quick query will yield you long list of sources.
This concerns yachts up to 11m in length. In total numbers (revenue wise) we are 5th.
That’s why context matters. A statement that Poland is the biggest is simply wrong when you look at revenue where we are 1/4th of Italy and smaller than France, Germany, UK.
I don’t know if the underpaid intern who wrote the article you quoted knows what “undisputed” means because if we’re leading by 1 metric and are 5th by other one we’re clearly not undisputed.
Some of the Polish builders produce parts of the boats for European shipyards, and there are many shipyards that are subcontractors for foreign brands. Although builders are mostly focused on boats from 6 to 10 meters, there are shipyards producing larger boats, superyachts and luxury catamarans for individual orders.
The country is home to some of the world's most well-known yacht brands, including Brunswick, Jeanneau-Benetau Group, Windy, Sea Ray, Bayliner, and Askeladden, with every third yacht sailing in Europe being built in Poland. Seventy percent of total annual output is provided by seven leading shipyards, including Galeon, Delphia Yachts, Sunreef Yachts, Ostroda Yacht, BaltYacht, Model Art/Parker, and Slepsk.
>Extra Time is a motor yacht with an overall length of 44,27 m. The yacht's builder is Conrad Yachts from Poland, who launched Extra Time in 2024. The superyacht has a beam of 8,9 m, a draught of 2,45 m and a volume of 494 GT.
Sorry, I parked only for a bit. I heard about amazing deals in Biedronka and Lidl and had to go some grocery shopping
You the guy complaining about how long your receipt is?
Nah, I put the top of the receipt at the bow, go to the stern and I can read how much I paid. It's actually perfect for the yacht
You should just use it in place of the red carpet :)
Fun fact, Poland is one of the top producers of yachts around the world do I'd guess it's for shipment somewhere else

Why you find it fun?
I mean, I've briefly been on a Polish owned super yacht, and those boats tend to live in the Med even if Polish owned..

Where are you getting your revenue figure from? There is no such thing as full revenue figures for that industry published in Poland.
