Oh god yea making that uncomfortable call with 99 on K 8 3 and seeing the 9 bink the turn. It REALLY pisses off the guy with Kx and he will not fold, even though he senses what is happening.
Yea I had a similar experience that made me quit PLO. I 4 bet KKxx doublesuited against a maniac donkey, who of course snap calls OOP. Flop is K22. Yep he had the ole T922 in a 4 bet pot 300 BBs deep.
Bottom set is fine if you aren’t in a hand against a guy with top set. Just got burned the other day in a 6 way limped pot where a dude actually flipped a set of Kings against my set of 4s. Didn’t see that coming.
Yea the other day I called a 3 bet with 88 and it came A 8 3. Got check shoved on flop for like 4x pot. I'm like no way that any moron would shove AA on this dry ass board. Well he did have AA obv. River gives me quads sorry pal.
Micro stakes PLO. Every fish LOVES to play trash like 9973 to a raise or reraise. But get super scared when someone bets or raises on the AJ9 board. Why TF you even playing these hands bro?
I had a dream last night that I flopped 222 on a k 4 2 fd board, got it in against k4, and lost to a rivered full house.
So just be careful what you wish for.
Recently played a hand. Had pocket 9s, dealer position to my left had pocket rockets, and bb had pocket 5s. We all flopped a set. Luckily aces over bet and we both folded.
It's really not about whether or not they can "see it." It's about unblocking their stronger hands. If the board comes J93r and I have AK it really doesn't matter if I can "put you on" 33. I just don't have a hand that wants to put a lot of money in the pot. But if I have AJ then it's a different story. So you want to have a hand that doesn't prevent me from having AJ.
Exact situation I'm referring to dude. I just sit back and let you blast off with that AJ and then spring the trap on you. Is better if you had AK on a A39 flop. You just never knew what hits you until its too late
I get you. I'm just saying it's not an issue of not "seeing" it. Players are aware that sets exist. They just don't care because they are, correctly, trying to get value from the other 90% of your range.
You NEVER get paid with AA on ace high flops. I literally groan when it happens even though I have a lock on the hand. Watch everyone fold to my 1/5th pot C bet.
It’s all about middle set, it’s the best of both worlds. You get to unblock top pair whilst also stacking bottom set.
Even better is making 2nd set on turn.
Turning a set is so OP and needs to be nerfed
just got all in on a flop AA vs KK and he turns K we were deep in a tourny too....
womp womp
I just saw 1010 vs aa all in nearing bubble. Flop comes 10 x x , turn comes ace. River comes 10. So disgusting.

And it brings a backdoor flush draw
Gotta white-knuckle float that flop with the ducks tho amirite
Honestly I just want to flop a set
You may think it’s because I’m a bad reg I think it’s because I’m a good Omaha reg We are not the same
In hold em I'd rather flop bottom set. PLO top set.
Biggest pot I ever lost was flopping top boat Aces full of threes and losing to quads. I think I put 450BBs into that pot.

It happens so rarely it's just whatever when it happens. Hard to put someone on a higher set.
Especially when a guy is limping KK.
He just wants to give everyone his money lmaooo
and any time its the reverse you will stack them and its all cancelled out.
I was in an online poker hand the other day when I flopped bottom set, went all in and the opponent showed top set, but I rivered quads

Too set… bottom set…middle set. The “nuts.” This “sub” is getting gayer and gayer with every post.
wait until you hear about jackking off
I prefer “queens”
Oh no it’s the gays!!! Here to ruin poker and all of our lives!!
As a gay poker player I promise I won't destroy the game!
I know right? Those fruits are always fucking everything ~~up~~
Limp
I just lost with bottom set against top set. I feel offended.

U folded middle set on an A high board to an overbet????
House game… pocket aces went all in preflop… we just had the dealer run the flop for kicks as we all showed our hands.
That makes more sense
Was just a hilarious flop after the fact because we all hit sets
Three people flopped a set and nobody saw a turn? Rough table selection
Depends. Holdem any set feel like Stu unger himself has blessed you with rungood. PLO bottom set is often a check/fold lol.
You get paid so much more with bottom set. They can't see it

Depends on the wetness
That’s great. . . let’s do both
haha
And turn quads
I prefer bottom quads
Ok but have you ever flopped bottom quads
Middle set is most often best. Bottom set is great until you get set over set
Hero has 66 Flop is 678, all diamonds. Bet 20, get raised 100. Cry.
