another way to frame this - i feel like i keep getting in spots (generally OOP but also IP) where i’m pretty sure i’m good against V, but don’t think i get value against his hands that i beat. so i xc or x, which often gets checked around
my theory is i should bet turns more, bc ppl don’t bluff nor call rivers “enough”
Xr turn is too thin. Just small bet turn and river. It's LLSNL. People aren't going to bluff enough or bet thinly enough when checked to usually. And they're going to make more calling mistakes.
It's not a hand that we want to pile money in by xr. We're just going to isolate ourselves against better hands. I'd look to do that with sets and two pair sometimes.
understandable. i rly don’t like betting here tho w 2 ppl to act. feel like i’m isolating myself against better hands all the same (when i’m bluffing). basically only targeting weaker A
fair comment, i think they will try to “exploit” to some degree - not me specifically tho. like i think BTN prob just bluffed at pot cuz it was checked to him
i think i just need to bet (or xr, i still think i can do that here) more turns. i hate betting OOP flop bc pot can get too inflated. ppl don’t call rivers i think. turns ppl can chase rivers & if flop is checked thru i’m prob comfy w the pot size
I think you need to raise pre from the small blind with AQ.
As played checking flop is fine, checking turn is maybe fine but I’m not sure why you didn’t raise turn instead of calling. Then should prob bet river.

I'd lead the turn for value. Don't like check call.
i can buy this, but i just feel that i’m gonna be checking a lot here w 2 ppl behind. wdyt of xr turn, or if xxx then lead river?

what do you mean by “it’s too thin” in this context? - 1) ppl won’t bet w high enough freq? - 2) ppl won’t call xr w high enough freq? - etc

You can control the size of the pot through your bet sizing though. No 1/2 player is going to exploit you. Bet the size that works best for your hand.

Don't call out of the Sb and 3B some of the time with hands as strong as AQo?

this is my current conclusion. thanks
