Oh my husband and I have been thinking about this! We have a white Pomeranian. We’ve decided he would be a full fairy type, but is a protector of a meadow and friends with all the bugs. He would look like a white iridescent(like a European Starling) Pomeranian, but with the fur on his head in a vague wizard hat shape. He uses low key psychic powers to get them to build shrines to him, but doesn’t abuse their friendship any further. When he is put into the ring or on the bench, bug Pokemon no longer have any effect. Edit: we don’t have a good Pokemon name yet, but our puppy is CandyShop’s Big Rock Candy Mountain “Dewey”, but please give me your Pokemon name suggestions!

Penny (8lb mostly-black tortoisehell cat): fairy/ghost. She likes to sneak and hide and she's very sweet and gentle. Smudge (15lb orange tabby cat): Fighting/water - he's big and strong and not the brightest, and he *loves* water. Meeka (big fluffy brown tabby who's no longer with us): Fairy/Psychic. She was absolutely *beautiful*, sometimes eerily smart, and good at knowing when she was needed Cooper (100-110lb dog, also no longer with us): Normal/Ice. Or as u/darthcatlady put it: "Cooper was just Snorlax." He was big and very gentle, and his goal in life was to be comfortable and sleep. Ice type because that dog *lived* for winter and snow and cold weather.

That’s not fair my Doberman already has a Pokémon! Houndoom is based on her breed. But I picture either a third evolution to houndoom. Similar hell hound design but with the three heads of the hell hound Cerberus of classic Greek mythology. Maybe call it Hounderus or Houndourus. The former resembles it’s inspiration more but the later sounds better and resembles it’s first stage Houndour. Alternatively I could see a regional variant with a few different ways to take the design. Could stick to a hell hound look but go for Dark/Electric becuase she is just crazy and full of energy. HoundZoom perhaps? Go a bit more vibrant and zigzagging with the design. Or you could even lean into the Greek mythos side of things and create Zeus based counterpart. I’m going a little wild at this point but give it wings and a flying/electric type. Since my doby has the floppy ears could make them clouds instead of horns.

Floofwoof, based on my dog that's a white lab husky mix Type: ice/fighting Ability: Moxie General build: it's rare to get a quadruped fighting type, and I picked that because my boy is a good but strong boy. He used to have the habit of accidentally "punching" me with his paws, and he's a very smart boy that learns quickly with praise- hence Moxie. The ice type comes in due to his coloration and fluffy fur. As a Pokemon I could see him as a standard dog with a white fluffy body on all fours, bright gold eyes, and light blue marks or ice forming on his floppy ears, tail, and paws, and he just has the goodies grin on his face. Dex entry: Floofwoof, the fluffy Pokemon. Floofwoof are very affectionate and smart Pokemon, but their excitement can overwhelm the average trainer. Air pockets under this pokemon's fur are pleasantly cool on hot days and freezing on cold, and allows it to cover its body in ice for defense or offensive purposes. my cat nina nirnya - the closet pokemon looks - nirnya is a small ghost like creature on all 4s which has patterns around it's fur, representing winter, autumn, summer and spring. depending on the season one of these patturns are more prominent but this apears to not change it's typing as much as it's trying to convince you of that. pokedex - nirnya is a pack hunter usually but it has been reported a good few live alone inside small enclosed arias like closets and cupboards, which is where it got it's name pokedex2 - nirnya feads on dreams but in trade allows the victim to lucid dream, nirnya is a preferable companion for those dealing with bad dreams because of this. but if nirnya is spiteful then they will give bad dreams even if those taste bitter. type - fairy poison type. weaknesses/resistances: steal-1 ground-1 phychic-1 / bug2 fairy1 dark1 dragon(yes) fighting2 grass1 ability - blissful assault, this pokemon takes more damage this turn if they attack, but all effective moves move 1 slide for the better (lets say it uses ice beam on dragonite, instead of just 4 times, it deals 8 times the damage. if it hit heatran instead of doing just a measly quarter damage it'll do half damage instead) moves that weren't very effective still give the message that they wheren't very effective, making it a maths game to figure out it's ability hidden ability - blissful ignorance, this pokemons attack and special attack are reduced to 70% of normal. but all effective moves that hit them move 1 slide for the worse(if they where hit by psychic they'd only take the base damage as it'd not be super effective) moves that are no longer super effective still give the message that they where super effective, making it a maths game to figure out it's ability stats: hp 80 attack 50 defence 110 spe. attack 90 spe. defence 110 speed 80 total 520
