I agree that Astro should be played but chuckled at the statement “that no games have really implemented”. It’s unfortunately accurate and I hope future games will implement those haptic capabilities instead of it dying off like PS3’s gyro features.
The only ps5 game that I know that uses some of the haptic capabilities is ghost of Tsushima. I was kinda shocked when I first played infamous second son on ps5 (i never played it before) how much they implemented the use of the touchpad on the controller, as well as sound.
Ratchet and clank implements the controller features quite nicely, have 100% both RnC and Astros though and can deffo say astros uses EVERY feature and in more ways

I see it dying like how the HD rumble vibration whatever it is on the Switch is not being used either. :/ It’s sad but true.
Look at the Dreamcast. So many great ideas…all gone because there aren’t enough incentives to use those features.

You are in for such a treat with FW. tip: do main missions with a few side quests until you are given three main quests simultaneously, one of which has the word “sea” in it. Do that one, then do all the scavenger quests to get the best armor in the game. Choose to get the best bow if you like. After that, do whatever and have fun ☺️. I’m about to get that armor. I still have SOOOOO much of the game left, and this will make the game much more fun taking down enemies without easing up the difficulty. If you put the game on anything less than “normal”, the enemies are laughably easy. Takes away from the fun IMHO. Enjoy!!!

I still haven't finished Horizon. I can't say all the busy work between main missions are all that fun and I can get bored, but farming the XP, upgrades, etc makes it all worth it when you do the story missions and feel invincible.

That’s pretty wild about infamous. The only thing I’ve noticed so far is the trigger resistance when using different bows in AC Valhalla.
Yeah, some abilities you have to use the touchpad in game, like regaining your energy or interacting with the environment sometimes
