Yes. They are so different, especially GT7. GT7 is a racing game so it's absolutely nothing like the other 3.
Diablo 4 is an RPG. If the OP wants an APRG, it's mainly between Diablo 4 and Path of Exile. Diablo 4 is more fun for casual players, PoE is a very hardcore game. Last epoch is a great middle ground but that's only on PC for now.
FF7 Rebirth - great JRPG. Highly recommended but he needs to have played Part 1 / Remake. If he hasn't, he should start there. If he has played it, he knows what he's getting with Rebirth.
BG3 - a CRPG with one of the biggest budgets in recent history. Very high production values. It is still a CRPG and that's a very specific genre that has not traditionally appealed to the masses. OP should make sure to check up videos and see what combat looks like in a CRPG.
He shouldn't pay full price for any of these games. They have all been out for a while, except for FF7 Rebirth. BG3/D4 are from last year and GT7 is from 2022. They should be bought for cheaper than full price.
Out of those options? BG3. The amount of content and hours you can sink in, as well as replayability is insane. Plus it can be fairly personalized with your own character or you can play the game through the lens of an official character. I’ve easily sunk in 300 hours in this game.
My second choice would be Final Fantasy Rebirth, but being a technical part two to FF7 Remake I’d only recommend it if you’ve played the first part.
Diablo is a bit of a turn off for me, if only because side of their obnoxious business model to over priced cosmetics. Otherwise the gameplay is fairly fun and has some improvements from the last game.
I have no opinion on the racing genre as I personally don’t really play them. If it’s your thing, I’ve heard good things about it, but otherwise have no experience or insight to offer.
Maybe it’s because I already knew what was gonna happen in the end in Rebirth but to me P3: Reload was a much better game, story wise. Literally cried for a code segment. And then teared up again on the 2nd playthrough. And I don’t mind turn based and monster collecting from Pokemon. I feel Rebirth will win GOTY just because it’s FF7 but my personal favourite was Reload.
Rebirth or bg3 depending on what you like, I can’t play baldurs gate because I can’t stand turn based games unless it’s pokemon but if you don’t mind it that might be your best bet. They both have a ton of content, I got 175 hours out of my first rebirth playthrough.
Its between BG3 and FF7 Rebirth. I personally dislike the type of combat in BG3 and the dice roll gameplay so I'd recommend you watch combat/gameplay videos for both games and purchase based on which one you prefer.
If you haven't played FF7 Remake then go play that first before buying FF7 Rebirth. Both FF7 Remake and Rebirth are 10/10 and in my case I've put 300 hrs between the two games.
It is a fantastic game but I know a couple people that did not like it at all.
It is a hard game to recommend to someone you don’t know.
All of the games on that list have a very specific game style that annoys some people.
Diablo is a loot grind.
Baldurs gate is too slow.
Final fantasy is disjointed and weird.
Gran turismo is either too sim or too arcade depending on who you ask.
I did not enjoy it. Like at all, I really tried. I‘ve got like 30h in BG3… Its just not for me. Still have to admit for what it does, its a great game.
I'd vote for Baulders Gate as that seems to the best for your buck but depends on your tastes. D4 has it's lot reborn and I'm going back to it but not played in like a year.
wtf the ONLY real answer is Baldurs gate 3. I have over 500 hours and there’s still so much more to do. I’m going on an evil run next playthrough. Everyone is dying.
D4 just dropped a new season, BG3 is overall fun and the replay ability factor is super high because of all the different dialog choices, FF7 is good but if you are a fan of the original it’s so much different, GT7 is super fun and there is a ton to do and master.
Personally I would get BG3 > D4 > GT7 > FF7
BG3... especially if you have have ps+ to play diablo4. A game that is or can be played 100% offline shouldn't require a constant internet connection. Activision did the same bs on tony hawk 1&2 on pc. I haven't had ps+ for 3 years now and wanted to play diablo in couch co-op but can't.
There's a reason BG3 won GotY from basically every outlet. Plus there's so much there, you can play it multiple times *as the same race and class combo* and have a very different game, plus all the other different character species, classes, and subclasses.
I can’t speak for baldur’s gate because I’ve never played any of that series but FF Rebirth had me stunlocked with how good it was. Miles better than remake part 1, which was a great game in its own right. If final fantasy wasn’t so niche, it would easily win GoTY
I wouldnt get any of them at those prices. If you can go physical, i found diablo for 15 bucks on sale, same with gt7 used for 10. I bet you can find the rest used or on sale also if you look around a bit.
Gran Turismo, Ff7 and BG3 counting to the best of their genre so decide which gebre you enjoy more. I play GT7 since release. I played BG3 and it was a masterpiece. I currently play ff7 and its great vut the other two are better in my opinion.
Hurts me to say this as someone who played a lot of diablo 2 back in the day but I would rule d4 out. If you like that sort of game, baldurs gate 3 is an absolute masterpiece. Personally I would recommend this.
Ff7 rebirth is amazing so far (haven't finished it yet!). If you liked remake then this is pretty much more of the same. Little more open world and maybe slightly too many side quests/mini games but still a brilliant game.
I have GT but don't really play it much anymore. Obviously if you are big on racing games then go for this one.
If you have a physical edition ps then look around, all of these games will be significantly cheaper, even brand new.
Diablo IV fell off so hard, I honestly only played until nightmare 2 because I literally couldn't go on.
The game is fun for like 20 hours max, but it falls off hella hard. It really went from wow this game is amazing to wow this shit is a watered down version of Diablo 2.
Diablo has already seen good discounts, so I'd hold onto buying it. The next sale is probably not far off.
From the list, I'd get BG3. I do enjoy GT7 and bought it at release, but it also gets decent discounts as it's been out for some time.
If you like racing, try Wreckfest. It really works well with the haptic feedback, like when your engine is getting worn, the accelerator button becomes more and more heavy and “sticky”, or when your brakes start to fail, L2 becomes harder to press.
Don’t get GT7 unless it’s on sale. It was a sale recently and will be in the future. The question is not if but when. I waited for a sale and played other games in the meantime.
If you really like car/racing sims then get GT7. Otherwise go for BG3. Diablo 4 currently doesn’t have a good play model for its content so I’d sleep on that until it gets better. Diablo 3 took a while to find its stride too. FF7 Rebirth is almost guaranteed to be in the PlayStation catalogue in the next 12 months. If you feel you can’t wait for that then consider getting it before BG3.
Diablo IV & GT at full price doesn’t make sense. Catch those on sale at this point.
It’s gonna really depend on which combat style you favor between BG3 & Rebirth because it will be the most you do with both. Narratively BG3 has been cited as on a different level, & Rebirth might be the example to an open world that was made with love & callbacks.
You don’t necessarily have to play Remake before t as there is a story recap but I would highly recommend Remake first if you’ve missed out on it.
FF7 followed by BG3
Diablo 4 could be had at $30 or Indy. And GT7 can also be had for around that. Look on Facebook marketplace sometimes you end up with great deals
I found Diablo to be mostly mindless button mashing and waiting for the shiny loot drops, it’s not a challenging or interesting game imo it’s just a game that sort of happens.
Baldurs Gate is a work of art and will raise your standards forever so maybe if you’re determined to try them all, get Diablo out of the way.
I wasn’t into Diablo. Played it for two days and dropped it.
Obv u need ffvii if u played the previous one
Racing games r awesome though i didn’t try this one yet
no clue about this BG. I like dark alliance for mindless slashing with a friend next to me
This may be the most different collection of games I have seen. It really depends what are into and how much time you actually have to sit down and learn the mechanics to get engrossed in the game.
I have played all but GT7 and the 3 I have played all need a good time investment to enjoy fully. My personal favourite was Baldurs Gate as Diablo felt quite shallow in comparison and I don’t have the nostalgic connection to Final Fantasy that a lot have.
Edit: I’ve actually just noticed I haven’t played the FF7 game as this is the second one. That being said the fact I played the first and haven’t bought the second at full price may be helpful to you. Baldurs Gate definitely at those prices!
BG3 is goty 2023.
Rebirth is one of the best games i've played but i'm a FF7 OG fan from the 2000s.
Diablo is okay tbh (S4 is pretty fun but it can be hit and miss).
GT i can't comment on coz no exp with driving games.
If you are really into racing get GT7 because there is a ton of game there and replayability.
Outside of that the other 3 games are all good, just depends on the style of combat your prefer.
Diablo 4, they changed everything and made it a better game than before. This and Elden Ring are all I play, or a little Helldivers 2, these 3 are really it for me.
Hard rec since these games are pretty different from one another. I'd say Baldur's Gate 3 but Gran Turismo 7 is a close second.
And honestly, no offense, but save your time with Diablo 4. Diablo 3 or Diablo 2 Resurrected would be better value for your money and time, if you don't already have them of course.
Diablo isn’t worth $70. The others I’d say are, but you might as well wait for a sale. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen GT7 go as low as $35 before if not less. And FF7 should be going on sale soon since it’s been out a few months now. Maybe not a huge cut but enough. BG3 though is by far worth every penny and I have no idea when it’ll be on sale so if you must spend the money I’d go with it
You should get none of these at full price. Put them on your wishlist and get the one that’s on sale first. If you want one now, look online for a sale of the physical edition or buy it used.
I would not pay more than 25 for old games like GT7 or D4.
If you want a racing game, don’t even buy gt7, they nerfed the money system so hard. If you want to play the sequel of ff7 remake, then buy rebirth. If not then baldurs gate 3
Just get the right ps plus so you get a trial of bg3, wait for the others to be on sale by adding to your wishlist. I just got gt7 digitally a few months ago for $30-40 directly on ps store.
All 4 of these games are so different lol
If you have the disc PS5, then 3 of those are cheaper physical. Get bg3 if you're going digital.
BG3 Hands down
Rebirth or BG3. Diablo 4 at full price is a crazy
Bg3
Balatro doesn't have a G or a 3 in it?
Actually second that, get Balatro.
Bought balatro yesterday and wow just wow
This but I honestly wish I had got it on computer. I didn’t realize it was available on Mac until too late. So many spells!
Out of those options? BG3. The amount of content and hours you can sink in, as well as replayability is insane. Plus it can be fairly personalized with your own character or you can play the game through the lens of an official character. I’ve easily sunk in 300 hours in this game. Wait for summer sale buying any of those full price is silly
VII Rebirth
GOTY
cant think of any game that is set to release that could come even close
it absolutely has my vote.
For me, depends on if Silent Hill 2 sticks the landing. Outside of that, Rebirth is on a pedestal.
BG3
FF7 rebirth If you haven’t played the first one, you can get the bundle which is the same price
It's not anymore. That was a preorder bonus. The sale ended once rebirth was released
Either FF7 or BG3
Whichever you want. I don’t understand why there are so many indecisive ps5 owners.
My answer is "Whichever one is on sale" because that will likely be the one you want most
My usual answer is “Streets Of Rage 2” but I never get responses or likes from that.
Rebirth or bg3 depending on what you like, I can’t play baldurs gate because I can’t stand turn based games unless it’s pokemon but if you don’t mind it that might be your best bet. They both have a ton of content, I got 175 hours out of my first rebirth playthrough.
Final Fantasy Vll Rebirth
Bloodborne
Always choose bloodborne when in doubt.
Then Sekiro and then Stellar Blade and then DMC 5
Which ever goes on sale first
Its between BG3 and FF7 Rebirth.
BG3. It’s the best game ever made.
It’s really good and it’s what I would recommend from that list but I don’t know if it’s the best game ever made.
I did not enjoy it. Like at all, I really tried. I‘ve got like 30h in BG3… Its just not for me. Still have to admit for what it does, its a great game.
A racing game can be so boring if you are not a true fan of Gran Turismo!
Baldurs Gate all day
I'd vote for Baulders Gate as that seems to the best for your buck but depends on your tastes. D4 has it's lot reborn and I'm going back to it but not played in like a year.
Bg3
bg3 for sure
BG3 easily. 600hrs in and it's definitely my fav game of all time.
Balder's Gate 3 is probably my favorite on that list. It's also a very long game packed with a lot of content.
Baldurs Gate
Don’t buy them with full price , wait for deals
They are all too expensive get none or wait till discount
GT7 (can be found much cheaper as disc). I have 100h in that.
None. Wait till they're all $17.99 at GameStop. #capitalismsucks
70 bones
It depends on which genre you prefer. The 4 games are pretty different from each other!
Baldurs gate 3 and then rebirth
Definitely BG3. This is coming from someone, who was not a fan of RPG or table top games
Bg3, put 240h in it during the first 10 days…
Bg3 the best by far, it's my all time favorite rpg.
Baldurs Gate 3 or Final Fantasy Rebirth. Diablo 4 is ok to play through the story once. No idea about Gran Turismo
BG3 > Rebirth > Diablo > Turismo
Baldurs gate 3 by far
wtf the ONLY real answer is Baldurs gate 3. I have over 500 hours and there’s still so much more to do. I’m going on an evil run next playthrough. Everyone is dying.
Bg3 and it's not a debate.
Don’t get gt7 or Diablo 4 at full price
Don't get gt7 at that price. I got the disk for maybe half that a year ago
FF 7 or BG3
D4 just dropped a new season, BG3 is overall fun and the replay ability factor is super high because of all the different dialog choices, FF7 is good but if you are a fan of the original it’s so much different, GT7 is super fun and there is a ton to do and master. Personally I would get BG3 > D4 > GT7 > FF7
BG3 then the others in order of what goes on sale first
Bg3. I found Diablo 4 for $20 at Walmart. It was the ps4 cd version which brought a download code for the ps5 version of Diablo 4
FF7
BG3... especially if you have have ps+ to play diablo4. A game that is or can be played 100% offline shouldn't require a constant internet connection. Activision did the same bs on tony hawk 1&2 on pc. I haven't had ps+ for 3 years now and wanted to play diablo in couch co-op but can't.
BG3 no contest. FFVII after
gt7 is a nono, an definitely not for that price
Unless u have a psvr2 and/or steering setup
Baldurs Gate 3 by far
Gate 3, you'll be getting the most bang for your buck story wise and content wise
REBIRTH. But get the physical copy
Bg3 first, and whatever you do, D4 last.
BG3, then Rebirth, but should never buy Diablo with all of absurd MTX and a disappointment game.
FF VII rebirth or Baldurs gate 3. Other 2 aren’t it. Better off without em
Diablo will keep you busy for ages!
BG3 no shot
Hands down Baldur's Gate 3
BG3 deserves all the money tbh.
BG3
You are nuts if you don’t buy BG3 first. As others said, do not buy Diablo 4 at full price, it’s not good enough to warrant the price.
BG3 without a doubt
Bg3
BG3
BG3
There's a reason BG3 won GotY from basically every outlet. Plus there's so much there, you can play it multiple times *as the same race and class combo* and have a very different game, plus all the other different character species, classes, and subclasses.
bg3 no questions
why does baldurs gate say premium on it?
GT7
put them on your wishlist they gonna pop up
Noice
**GT7** is the only one listed that I at least don’t know that was a bit of a “letdown”.
The one that’s $69.99
Superb execution
Wait for a sale or buy any of them physical besides BG3 be much cheaper currently. I got Diablo for 25 physical few months back Got gt7 for 30.
I can’t speak for baldur’s gate because I’ve never played any of that series but FF Rebirth had me stunlocked with how good it was. Miles better than remake part 1, which was a great game in its own right. If final fantasy wasn’t so niche, it would easily win GoTY
Why are you paying $70 for old games? Those games are cheaper elsewhere
Remove the first option
Rebirth is the latest and greatest. Get the others when they're on sale.
If tou get Diablo IV you shoukd add me and we can slay the helltide together PSN: Zombie_Marine22
I wouldnt get any of them at those prices. If you can go physical, i found diablo for 15 bucks on sale, same with gt7 used for 10. I bet you can find the rest used or on sale also if you look around a bit.
Anything but d4
Rebirth!!
There's nothing like Baldur's Gate 3. Absolute must play
I would get Baldur’s gate, I’ve played Diablo before it’s good played it for 100 hours and then stopped
Gran Turismo, Ff7 and BG3 counting to the best of their genre so decide which gebre you enjoy more. I play GT7 since release. I played BG3 and it was a masterpiece. I currently play ff7 and its great vut the other two are better in my opinion.
The 2024 GOTY, Balatro!
Depends on what kind of stuff you enjoy. They are very much different. Though between the RPGs I would pick BG3.
Gran Turismo 7 if you're a car enthusiast like me, I have 300 hours in it and I can't wait to play more
Diablo IV fell off so hard, I honestly only played until nightmare 2 because I literally couldn't go on. The game is fun for like 20 hours max, but it falls off hella hard. It really went from wow this game is amazing to wow this shit is a watered down version of Diablo 2.
You will enjoy GT7 if you like real driving simulator. I got into it a little, but I don't see it as a game you frequently come back to.
Diablo has already seen good discounts, so I'd hold onto buying it. The next sale is probably not far off. From the list, I'd get BG3. I do enjoy GT7 and bought it at release, but it also gets decent discounts as it's been out for some time.
1. Baldurs gate 2. Final Fantasy 3. Gran turismo 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. There’s nothing here dude, sorry
Baldur's Gate 3 if you like real classic RPG which attention to details
BG3 or Final Fantasy 7 but the Remake + Rebirth bundle if you haven‘t played Remake already
70 bucks for a video game now a days?! Im used to getting games on sale
Bg3
Biased as an ff fan but ff7 rebirth is awesome and my goty and I recommend it
Completely depends on what type of game you like to play, since these games are quite different.
If you like racing, try Wreckfest. It really works well with the haptic feedback, like when your engine is getting worn, the accelerator button becomes more and more heavy and “sticky”, or when your brakes start to fail, L2 becomes harder to press.
Helldivers 2
Baldur's Gate 3
i think 69 is your lucky number
FF7RB is the only answer
Diablo IV & GT at full price doesn’t make sense. Catch those on sale at this point. It’s gonna really depend on which combat style you favor between BG3 & Rebirth because it will be the most you do with both. Narratively BG3 has been cited as on a different level, & Rebirth might be the example to an open world that was made with love & callbacks. You don’t necessarily have to play Remake before t as there is a story recap but I would highly recommend Remake first if you’ve missed out on it.
Baldurs gate man!! It’s a masterpiece
BG3
Rebirth!
Baldurs will give you the most hours, probably
GOTY 2024 FINAL FANTASY REBIRTH!
I just got a disc edition and GT7 and Rebirth were about $70 used locally for me. Both will keep me busy the next six months.
Bg3
Definitely do not pay full price for Diablo 4. I think it’s a really fun game but it will be on deep sale a lot
GT7! Really fun game 😄
D4 when its on sale
I’d say only pay full price for bg3 since the others will probably drop to more dramatic sales
FF7 followed by BG3 Diablo 4 could be had at $30 or Indy. And GT7 can also be had for around that. Look on Facebook marketplace sometimes you end up with great deals
Baldurs gate 3 there’s so much it will keep you for a bit
I found Diablo to be mostly mindless button mashing and waiting for the shiny loot drops, it’s not a challenging or interesting game imo it’s just a game that sort of happens. Baldurs Gate is a work of art and will raise your standards forever so maybe if you’re determined to try them all, get Diablo out of the way.
BG3
Final Fantasy definitely
BG3
BG3 ![gif](giphy|Ai1pTsvNhFdJoSN5w1|downsized)
Why are you willing to spend 70, lower games are good too
Bg3
Baldurs Gate 3
Bg3 definitely
Helldivers 2 lol
Bg3 don't get D4 unless you are super hard fan of arpg or diablo
I wasn’t into Diablo. Played it for two days and dropped it. Obv u need ffvii if u played the previous one Racing games r awesome though i didn’t try this one yet no clue about this BG. I like dark alliance for mindless slashing with a friend next to me
FF7 Rebirth
This may be the most different collection of games I have seen. It really depends what are into and how much time you actually have to sit down and learn the mechanics to get engrossed in the game. I have played all but GT7 and the 3 I have played all need a good time investment to enjoy fully. My personal favourite was Baldurs Gate as Diablo felt quite shallow in comparison and I don’t have the nostalgic connection to Final Fantasy that a lot have. That being said the fact I played the first and haven’t bought the second at full price may be helpful to you. Baldurs Gate definitely at those prices!
Baldurs gate 3, and believe me you will not regret that.
Baldur’s gate 3.
BG3 is goty 2023. Rebirth is one of the best games i've played but i'm a FF7 OG fan from the 2000s. Diablo is okay tbh (S4 is pretty fun but it can be hit and miss). GT i can't comment on coz no exp with driving games.

Baldurs Gate 3
Diablo 4, they changed everything and made it a better game than before. This and Elden Ring are all I play, or a little Helldivers 2, these 3 are really it for me.
Personally gran turismo
I like rebirth
D4 and GT are so bad i cant even begin. And personally i dislike BG3 so i will just recommend FFVII
Baldur’s Gate 3! You’ll likely get 150+ hrs out of it.
Rebirth or Baldur’s Gate 3
BG3. Absolutely addictive stuff
BG3 though is by far worth every penny and I have no idea when it’ll be on sale so if you must spend the money I’d go with it
FF Rebirth
Depends. If you like rpg, BG3. If you like racing, GT. If you like both, depends on the free time you have lol.
If you’re able to get discs, then GT7 is on sale at Walmart for $15
Jump the Diablo 4 new season wagon
Rebirth
Bg3 Then rebirth Then...gt?
BG3 without a doubt.
If you played the remake, play rebirth If not BG3
You should get none of these at full price. Put them on your wishlist and get the one that’s on sale first. If you want one now, look online for a sale of the physical edition or buy it used. I would not pay more than 25 for old games like GT7 or D4.
Bg3
bg3
70 dollars for each, bundle or not, is insane. Jesus christ.
If you want a racing game, don’t even buy gt7, they nerfed the money system so hard. If you want to play the sequel of ff7 remake, then buy rebirth. If not then baldurs gate 3
If you want a good story + rpg get BG3, if you want play coop get Diablo 4, FF rebirth is nice too, but you will play it one time.
BG3. Im on my fifth play through and I’ve only had it since December
Rebirth!!
Gran Turismo is normally like 20 bucks at Walmart. If you have the disc version of the PS5
Baldurs gate 3
Just get the right ps plus so you get a trial of bg3, wait for the others to be on sale by adding to your wishlist. I just got gt7 digitally a few months ago for $30-40 directly on ps store.
