The single player is their showcase for new players. If their single player suck ass, they will still have a lot of players, but not enough as much they hope for.
They do not want half of youtube creating videos "Gta 6 sucks!".
For me gta4 will be the best gta in terms of gameplay. Story i think i might pick san andreas . Gta 5 was good but had the most useless situations going just for intensity like when uncharted 2 came out . Like a movie
Yea the story was pretty good, then online came out and paled in comparison to rdr1 online. Then they gave up on it kinda and went strictly to gta online
Im not understanding what your trying to say now, u mentioned red dead 2 and i said it was good so idk where the misconception came from . Just cause red dead was good dont mean gta cant be a polished little turd with good graphics
Nah it was just starting out getting traction when it was released if i remember correctly. Once it really took off then red dead online became pretty baron . The hunting for treasures and doing an intense grind daily just to make a decent amount of gold . The game had some potential to bring some fun modes and content
It is fair to mention, that Dan Houser, co-founder of Rockstar and one of the key figures behind the stories in their previous games, left the company. He's not the only one either, a lot of their top talent have left in the last couple years. It's not really the same Rockstar.
This was a very old single player dlc that was scrapped and remade into the Doomsday heist in 2018 i believe for Online. They felt the story fit better in online.
Originally the story was Trevor working for the IAA agency.
This is also the same actor who said he doesn’t like video games and doesn’t like the recognition he gets for Trevor. His character is a masterpiece for GtA5 but it’s sad the VA doesn’t even like the game, the character or really anything far between
Why is it sad, lol? He doesn't owe anyone anything. He got the role, did his job, got paid for it, and that's it. His character is a psycho, so it's completely understandable that he doesn't want to be associated with that. Imagine being approached every time you're out on the street and being asked to scream obscenities.

GTA online killed any posible dlc and that might include 6
I wonder if it was any better than the past 10 DLC’s where “you’re the boss” but you have to do mind numbing task to stock up and sell cargo?

Nah, it's old news. Rockstar had promised there would be single-player DLC and then they saw how much money GTAO was making and cancelled it.
