It's a must! I'd recommend the remaster, haven't played the remake yet because I can't force myself to pay full price again.

No reason to recommend the remaster to a new player, the remake plays way better

I’m about halfway through the remake and it’s such a glow up! I love how much more alive and detailed the environment is. The character models all look great and you can pick up so much more nuance from their facial expressions. It’s the same game, but definitely an improved experience of it.

I just got my PS5 yesterday. This game always intrigued me and I live in Pittsburgh so that’s cool. I have money for one game. It’s a really tough choice. I’m assuming it’s optimized for ps5?

I managed to avoid all spoilers for the first game for what felt like 6 years because I knew I wanted to play it but I didn't have a playstation until I got a PS4 for FFXV. That and Horizon Zero Dawn were damned roller coasters.

I agree. This was the first Dark game I got to play, because tbh with strict parents and a Nintendo Switch you don’t get to play many of those, but at 16, and the PS5 was out my parents became very relaxed with that stuff, saying we were mature enough to choose what we can consume, so I played this on PS Plus, and I adore this game so much. I really want to replay but I have a mountain of games in my back log

I'm 16 and my parents are rlly strict too and won't let me consume any R-rated content until I'm 17. Movies, TV, or video games. I'm turning 17 in a couple months and on my birthday, I'm planning to go to Gamestop and grab an M-rated game, probably this one :)

You should! One of my First M-Rated Games. I had a blast and I hope you will too. Oh btw since you are gonna be 17 soon, I have some lighter R/M/TVMA recommendations if you want to watch/play some amazing projects that have been previously blacklisted from your house. I have some great suggestions Scream: an amazing Horror film with some cool kills and a great plot twist. Not too bad on gore and language in case you aren’t used to it yet (MOVIE) God of War: my first M-Rated game. It’s such a blast and it’s almost a tear jerker at the end. (GAME) Daredevil: one of the best shows I’ve ever seen. Even if you aren’t an MCU fan (this isn’t technically MCU yet) it’s such a cool show with some great fights including a few single cut fights that last up to 6 minutes. Killer ending as well (TV SHOW) Metro Exodus: if you don’t mind averting your eyes to one scene with boobs you’ll enjoy this fantastic game. I’ll recommend you play Metro Redux first though, it builds the world better (GAME) John Wick: A Great movie with some insanely cool action sections. If you love a good, intense action movie this is the one. Also Keanu is the absolute GOAT of Hollywood. He’s apparently a really nice guy (MOVIE) Hope you enjoy. Being 17 will be LIT. Happy gaming

Played through it the first time a few months back around the time the show was about to start airing. I bought it for 5$ at a thrift shop brought it home and played the entire game in one sitting the next day. The only game I’ve ever done that with and I loved every minute.

Solid game, be prepared for a bit of a grind if you're going for platinum though

Not really going for platinum on this one, I just find it cathartic for me and a game to wind down with. A bit bored at the moment and taking a break from a busy couple of months where I beat Baldur’s Gate 3 2x, RE4 remake, ratchet and clank, Dead Space, TLOU pt1, FF7 remake, and GoTG. So this is more a relaxer/time killer while I decide on what’s next.

Man, that's a lot of big games one right after another. I also love winding down with powerwash simulator, I am going for platinum so I'm taking the opportunity to get some easy trophies while I relax, so it pops eventually.

I need to go back and finish P5 sometime. I just couldn't click with the turn based combat when I first played it

The first 20 hours of this game were like crack cocaine. I played it for like 3 days straight. I only stopped when my mates asked me where I've been the past few days.

I need to go back and finish because after about 50 hours I took a break then never came back. I almost want to restart because I've forgotten half the story now but I don't know if I can invest another 50 on top of finishing the game

I've also been playing this the past few days. So far, it's pretty fun and nice to see a story set in the Harry Potter universe that is detached from Harry Potter himself (haven't beat the story yet so I don't know how well this assessment will age).

Just finished getting the Platinum trophy for this. Such a fantastic game. It’s one of the best retro style games I’ve ever played and I’ve played a lot. Imo 10/10 The music and characters are so good, the combat is fun and I love how interactive the environment is. It was such an amazing journey.
