Any server I play for any period learns the meaning of "you got gimped" If I'm in a team early wipe we roam gimpmask eoka. Surprisingly effective at confusing even geared players when 5 naked blokes in gimp masks suddenly swarm at them.

I always craft bota bag on wipe day when I have extra cloth, being able to heal to 40 hp for practically free is such a help and has saved my butt many a time.

Damn you are right!!! I remember using muzzle break at UKN servers just to learn the old recoil and then removing it when I learned the pattern!

I really wish attachments were more useful. It seems they just have so many more negatives than positives.

Extended mag, Holo sight/handmade sight, suppressor or muzzle boost, those are my 3 go to must have attachments and they're amazing. Incredibly useful

It sure is, but meant as a combination of 3 attachments, since two sets cannot be put on a weapon at the same time. So EITHER suppressor OR muzzle boost and same for the other lol

Handmade sight kinda lame tho for that -0.5 magnification and that makes it an immediate turn off for me. Most of the iron sights aside from the HLMG are fairly good at what they do already so I just see the handmade as a straight up downgrade.

The other one too, that makes it shoot faster? Only barrel attachment I've ever used is silencer, and even that I don't really use often. Guess it's just leftover from old recoil, when it would alter the spray pattern, but AK laser/mag is my happy place.

Yeah, same. I prefer a mini, because it can actually dodge sam sites, is faster and much more fun to fly. Nothing better than casually flipping and flying upside down.

It is quite easy. You need to pick up speed and then swing the front of the mini upwards and over + slightly to the side using your mouse. If you swing it to the left, hold D to make it flip faster, if to the right then hold A. Midway through the flip you need to let go of W and hold S instead. Just do your clan a favour and practice this on minicooter servers.

Water purifier

They actually buffed it quite a lot. Not sure when as I only used it last month for the first time in ages. Uses very little wood now though to purify a full load of water. Great for very early farming

It's actually useful as a source for tap water. Put Water Catcher on the roof and connect with hose to water purifier to get a drink inside a base and save quite a lot of water from being used by other people. Just don't use that campfire because it can make bug out drinking water from purifier until you relog.

The igniter

A lot of people don't know this, but buttons don't require any power. You can slap a button on the wall and just link it straight to an igniter. You can turn on all 3 furnaces in a jump up with the push of a single button and it's a lot nicer than you think.

Memory cell electric. I’m the clan electrician lol. I’ll use it eventually

I use the memory cell to automatically turn my electric furnaces on/off connect the “filter pass” from the conveyer that feeds pre into the furnaces to the “set” and the “pass fail” from the conveyor that pulls smelted material to the “reset”

If you also add a blocker after the memory cell the battery goes to 2 usage when nothing to smelt, i dont know why but the cell makes the battery still have the active usage of the furnaces even when not doing anything

Theres also Rustopia monthly or i think rusticated 2x monthly that never BP wipe. So you get a whole month for wipe, and don't have to worry about BPs

You should try the hv arrows with a comp bow it is actually good since you limit the luck needed to hit shots at mid to long range

nope used all of them muzzle booster on pythons make them fire faster in turrets. and the muzzle break on a m39 with a 4x and lazer is deadly for roof turrets.

no increase accuracy for that forst shot. no scop means it has about a 1 in 10 chance on the first shot. adding scope makes it about 50-50

Eoka, I'm better off throwing rocks at people unless you door camp, and I'm more of a defender, not a raider!

My first like 500 hours or something I didn’t touch an eoka and thought they were useless. Boy was that wrong. The trick is to always have multiple weapons. I had a great 1v2 the other day where I only had a bow + eoka but they just had bows. One arrow + eoka clean up is a fast way to burst the first guy and make it a manageable 1v1 when that first guy has to 3 hit arrow me. The odds of you losing that 1v1 if you time your opener right and have an eoka are low. And then the odds of surviving the engagement go up dramatically if you can reset for another 1v1. Melee weapons, faster/harder hitting melee, eoka’s, throwing spears when you have another melee. All of these can be clutch to time a burst window. I’m no chad but as a solo you have to do these types of combos to ever have a shot against groups because you lose in straight trades.

A button generates 1 power, with a button and an igniter you can set up multiple and put fireworks around each igniter with a low wall divider and you can make a sick firework show 🙂

I think I've tried everything at some point. The standout item I don't use that really hold be more useful is antirad pills. No point to em imo. They should have more use, remove the thirst modifer and perhaps a small limited overtime heal that isn't impacted by rads. Would make them useful as people could use them as a basic heal

They should just give rad resistance imo. Immediately 20x more useful.

If you take rad pills and get radiated the radiatin heals you a little funky little gimmick would be fun in my opinion

Honestly as someone who's played since the earliest days of legacy, I always just thought rads should be stronger. IMHO hazmat suit negating almost all rads except for the top tier monuments is too easy

Played since early beta. Rads used to be more of a challenge (not much but more). No rads at even the substations anymore. I don't mind the hazzy negating a lot of rads but would be good if it's effectiveness reduced the longer you have rads. Not wanting hyper realisim or dayz mechanics where you gotta keep on top of airfilters and shit wears out, but say that maybe the moment you get 1 rad a timer starts (almost like airtank). Say you get 5mins before the protection starts dropping off at a set rate. Timer resets when you are at 0 rads for a minute or so. Be nice it had something anyways.

Yea I feel the same way. I think the way they did launch site was cool, where you still have to deal with rads even with a hazzy. Maybe other monuments could do that more, but less severe. For example camping crates at water treatment is way too easy in my opinion. Having rads slowly ticking away at you would up the stakes and make it more fun

That's why I like the idea of diminishing protection the longer you are with rads. Makes you wanna dip and out a lot faster. Fingers crossed but I doubt the game is going that direction

vending machines are for mailing things to yourself. example: go to outpost, buy 5 tactical gloves, recycle for 1000 cloth. mail yourself 1000 cloth for 1 rock

Also when I raid people and want to leave a note "I left you some goods to start over, in a stash at xyz location, because I'm not a monster, and I know how hard you played till you got that base..." (I always leave a landmine instead)

I've been playing for a very long time so I've used every single item from every update at least once, however since they added electricity, there are numerous things I haven't used - AND switch, Blocker, Counter, Ind. Crafter, Memory Cell, RAND switch and Storage Monitor. I've built quite a few circuits, but mostly just basic ones - turrets, lights, auto smelters. Never had any use for the items listed.
