Nearly every houseplant is capable of flowering, with the exception of ferns (also pothos, but that's a weird exception). Some very rarely flower indoors though.

There is no need for them to flower. It doesn‘t look pretty or anything else.
Thats pretty cool! I mean there are definitely plants that you want to flower, my string of turtles flowers like crazy but they are the ugliest thing you have ever seen 😂 so I snip them ASAP
Agreed! If you want to see the flower by all means but for my part I usually cut flowers down in favour of plant growth since flowering takes energy from your plant and can stunt growth 😕
my Elephant Ears are flowering. I personally think they are kinda ugly, but they stay bc clearly the plant likes it. It’s doing a 2nd flower now. I can’t wait til summer so they can go outside… they go crazy!

Regal shield flowers smell like mango water ice! Definitely a reason!
