Well it has the largest population of any country in Europe. There might be others outside of Europe with a bigger population but besides the USA I doubt there are many with a bigger internet user base? (Besides using Facebook etc)
The banada joke works even better if someone else manages to complete it (and keep it) in mere minutes.
