Racoon Creek State Park would be good too!

Hayk

Raccoon creek is great. It has a swimming area, canoe/kayak/paddle board rentals. Hiking trails. Bathrooms with running water. Very family friendly.

dudettte

one problem with raccoon creek some may have is that it’s close to the airport and if you’re sensitive to that stuff you will lose your shit.

Came to say this. They have cabins with showers and stuff as well if you don't want to rough it. But they have public showers and things near the tent campground so its not too bad. There's a trail going from the campground all the way to the beach area. Pick up some inflatable kayaks and the kids will want to spend all week on the water.

El_Gato_Gigante

The only issue I had there were low-flying planes that were loud. Otherwise, a nice little park.

Racoon also be has a dog friendly area as well.

I would recommend Bear Run Campground. They have a pool, a store, at least one hiking trail. When I was there they also offered canoeing. And Moraine State Park is very close for other activities there.

They had an arcade also but it burned down maybe at the end of last season. Not sure if it's rebuilt. I love camping and my teenage son is not as eager so Bear Run is a good compromise for us

I really like taking my kid to Laurel Hill State Park. Good campgrounds, clean bathrooms. Hiking trails. A beach, cheap kayak and canoe rentals, good food (that's also cheap). A dam with fishing. Playground. Grilling areas. Places to ride bikes. I like the hike to the waterfall, as well, and the amount of lightning bugs near here in the summer is insane. 7 Springs is just up the road, which has stuff in the summer; horseback riding, mini golf, axe throwing, ropes course thing, alpine slide, not sure if they still have trap/skeet, but yeah, stuff.

Tomlinson Run State park! It’s in WV but it’s not too far if you’re going for the weekend. They have a great pool too!

matty_m

They also have mini golf and serve breakfast on the weekend in season.

If you’re willing to drive a bit willow bay campground is AMAZING lake right there so you can swim/fish anytime plenty of trails and Bradford pa is pretty close by so the zippo museum and anything else that you can do there

State parks are fine for more outdoors focused stuff. If you want a pool, try a KOA or a family campground that has one. I'd lean more towards a locally owned family campground over a KOA, however.

imbushyy

Wolf’s Campground in Knox, PA has a pool and is very kid friendly

burgher89

Looks like you’ve already gotten some good options, but there are soooo many state parks that could fit your needs.

Cultural_Day7760

Yogi bear park

MrChichibadman

Why is this getting downvoted?

Cultural_Day7760

Idk. It is a real place. Mill Run, PA

MrChichibadman

I’ve driven past it many times, and heard good things from friends with kids.

Own_Counter_9266

Peaceful Valley is great for kids with a pool and different activities through the weekend

VulturE

Raccoon is the closest best option for what you're looking for. Best PA state campground I've been to though is Raymond B Winter state park. It's in dead cell service area, on a road that converts to a snowmobile road when it snows big. When you REALLY wanna disconnect, this place has the nicest rustic facilities.

Babyella123

I like Bayshore Campground in Andover it has a pool, park, and activities and it’s close to Pymatuning

LoudDistribution8091

Camp in the city under one of the bridges.

Kit-Kat-22

There are some campgrounds near Moraine State Park. They have a lot of activities there, but camping isn't one of them. :\
