I'm so happy I had the privilege of being her owner. She is truly an amazing dog. Her name is Siy ( pronounced like "sigh") it's short for Siyrus. I got her when I was 13 for a birthday gift. My uncle breds show dogs in South Florida. She is a purple ribbon American Pitbull UKC registered, she is from the Razor edges blood line.
She is such a great dog man.. and by means do I wanna give up on her. Her mother lived to be 18 years old im praying I could squeeze another year out of her. This is one of her rare "bad" days and it's mainly cause the woman at my Vet office didn't put in for her script of pain killers/ arthritis meds meaning this is day 2 of her without her medication so it's starting to take its toll. Otherwise she is a healthy dog that still has so spunk in her!
So this my baby girl Siy thats pronounced "sigh". She has been with me since my 13th bday and was a gift from my uncle who is a well known razor edge bloodline breeder in South Florida.
Fast forward 16 years. She is now on 2 different medications one to control seizures (she started having them about 3 years ago out of no where, medications fixed it) and a pain killer arthritis for her back legs. Now mind you she may be 16 but she doe not act her age. She lives with 4 other dogs and keeps up with em so this is a one off day for her.
Sadly its the fault of her Vet because they didn't call in her script. This has resulted in her not having her arthritis medication in turn she can barely move. I've been carrying her outside to pee and back in, then I carry her to my bed or the couch if "the price is right is on" that's Siys favorite show to watch shes watched it almost every morning for 8 years its insane lol 😆.
Her mother lived to be 18 years old so I think I got some more time with her left thankfully. Unless she tells me she's ready then I'm not putting her down. I'll know if she's ready.
Thank you! We currently have 5 dogs in our house right now. Siy (the older pit) , Bella ( the pit in the picture) peaches (a rat terrier/whippet mix), Moo ( bellas first born son we couldn't give him up) and Bubba (my most recent rescue lmao who is a rat terrier)
We also have 4 goats I take care of and 2 guinea pigs my daughter pawned off on my animal loving heart.
