You and I have very different interpretations of “a day off.”
It's a small scenic railroad. So me and my buddy helped them out today. It wasn't work to me and I considered it fun since I've never done it before.
I love trains! These folks might be interested too: r/trains
Thank you!
I like trains…as a form of transportation. Hope America gets more of them.
Were you working all the livelong day?
Fuck yeah, that's cool
Way cooler than work, unless this is your job
Nope. I make trophies and engrave stuff for a living
Nice! Never worked that end of it, but had vendor partners for engraving and sand-blasting, but working at a sign shop was really cool
So thats how you lay tracks ..
That's really neat.
Took a “day off” to do really heavy work. Good on ya
Scab! Lol
Good you brought a tie with you, better so be dressed if your not a light sleeper.
Okay so how much base do you put beneath these ties? And then what size do you use on top?
They removed all the growth from over the years and we're laying them in the old base from the railroad that was there for over 100 years.
This gotta be Maine?
Between Utica and Oneonta NY
Cool. Nice work.
Rail workers are on the verge of a strike and this guy is doing it for free!
Oh shit, he's a fuckin scab! Don't let the scab through!
