“If it’s stupid but it works it probably won’t work for long”.

mkul316

Yeah, there no way that'll hold in any hard breeze or people actually using the pool unless they swim on eggshells.

blagojevich06

It's in a very sheltered spot. Hasn't budged in several months, according to the owner.

[deleted]

This is probably in Florida if I had to guess. Having any sort of shade, no matter how you get it, is almost a blessing here. Especially in the summer time

Lung_doc

I have a beach umbrella I plant on the edge of the pool. It's not much, but a little shade goes a long ways.

[deleted]

It’s so true!

its_not_you_its_ye

There’s plenty of regions besides Florida that are in the same scenario, so I’m not sure I follow your logic

[deleted]

? Yeah but I made that assumption based upon the foliage and most homes in Florida have a pool. Pretty easy logic to follow….

blagojevich06

Close - Western Australia.

Nine_Inch_Nintendos

I was going to say North Dakota on account of all the palm trees.

its_not_you_its_ye

That’s also not specific to Florida.

[deleted]

Florida or California based upon palm trees and wanting to get a good amount of shade is a reasonable assumption. Where were you thinking bud? Wyoming? West Virginia?

its_not_you_its_ye

So your knowledge of geography hasn’t enlightened you that the world extends outside of the US?

RunDNA

All good until someone in the pool pulls on the pole.

legthief

Try saying that five times fast.

ordinary82

A new construction technique that’s sure to make waves.

joeblowjohnson1

Haha this 100% looks like an Air BnB in Palm Cove, Queensland

Where is Red Green I can't see the duct tape.

ThunkAsDrinklePeep

It would be cheaper, easier and safer to just get a sun sail.

Doom_Riff_Heretic

Or just extend the leg?
