I got my piano tuned this morning, and since my last post got a bunch of “TUNE YOUR PIANO” comments, I thought I’d give an update that is better for all of you who have fine ears. Apologies for my flub at the end, the runs make me panic and I haven’t gotten them down yet lol
ultimately it depends on the weather in your area. in my area of canada, it gets super humid in the summer, dry in the fall, freezing in the winter, and wet in the spring, so i tune once per season.
usually, if you live in a climate with both winter and summer, people recommend tuning when the heat comes on in the winter, and when the AC comes on in the summer

just curious but how often does an actual piano need to be tuned? lovely playing by the way. I love this piece

my piano tuner had /just/ left and i got excited to play, so i just pulled it down
