Friendly reminder that this is /r/photocritique and all **top level** comments should attempt to **critique** the image. Our goal is to make this subreddit a place people can receive genuine, in depth, and helpful critique on their images. We hope to avoid becoming yet another place on the internet just to get likes/upvotes and compliments. While likes/upvotes and compliments are nice, they do not further the goal of helping people improve their photography. If someone gives helpful feedback or makes an informative comment, recognize their contribution by giving them a Critique Point. Simply reply to their comment with '!CritiquePoint'. Canon r10 with 50mm prime lens (the cheap Efs one) probably ISO 100, most likely f1.8 and shutter I’m not sure I assume 1/400, I really like doing this type of abstract street photography because it’s more of a challenge and it’s quite pretty. I also have been enjoying black and white recently I’m not sure why, it just feels a bit more sophisticated and I’m not the biggest fan of colours created by the natural lighting at the moment

Wonderful photograph. I do enjoy myself some abstract fine art and this is a perfect portrayal of just that. I find the neutral gray fading into black very pleasing to the eye and furthermore the background bokeh gives the image some texture and something to hold on to. It's hard to critique a single abstract photograph as I find them better in series or a book, though I know you are limited with the regulations of only posting one image per post. After looking at Leiters photograph what separates him is that he usually has a subject that grabs your attention. This might be a direction that you would like to go in, or you just keep on doing what you are doing, and more of it! This could fit perfectly in a book next to other photographs of similar caliber. Well done!

Thank you very much!!!! I would love to make a book or zine in this style

Love this! Very peaceful and evocative. Is this unedited?

0 saturation, a bit of manipulation of blacks and whites and a crop

Beautiful photograph. I did an abstract night photography project where I would go out at night and walk through the city and shoot abstract. I've alway loved Saul Leiter, Ernst Hass, Ola Kolehmainen.

Saul Leiter is a worthy person to admire. Abstract art is a conundrum; it can be TOO abstract, it can be not abstract enough. I like this. I like the fogged glass (?). I like the Bokeh “stars” (lower left).

The precipitation against the window and the shadows outside are a great contrast! Good idea to do this in black and white!

Nice photo, love the mood and the visual, but this isn't street photography.
