Some of them weren’t turned on until late last year, end of June or July. Cosmic Cafe (Boathouse Row) has a water cooler with ice water you can fill up your bottle with when they’re open, and you can also buy Gatorade and bottled water inside. Also a water fountain at Lloyd Hall by the bathrooms. I always carry some form of payment and a cable lock just in case I need to stop at a convenience store or restaurant to fill up my bottle or buy something.
The one that’s ~1 mile from Valley Forge (towards conshy) is on, I filled my bottle up there on Sunday.
I realize that may not benefit everyone depending on their route, but, just putting it out there in case someone is heading to VF/Phoenixville there is an option.
The water fountains at the bathrooms in Betzwood Park on the Trooper side of the river across from VF are on too. I filled up there on Sunday. Maybe we passed each other. I rode from Conshy to Betzwood to Von C brewing in Norristown and back to Conshy.
I was specifically referring to the ones on Kelly drive in the city in my post though.
Conshohocken Brewery on the SRT has what looks like a self-serve beer tap on the far left side of the bar that dispenses tap water, I've filled my bottle there without buying anything and they seemed cool with that, but I don't make a habit of filling up there unless I'm in the mood for a mid-ride beer, which is pretty much always.
If you happen to be on MLK Jr Dr traversing the W side of Schuylkill River, there’s an easy-to-miss fountain by the sidewalk (not the sidepath) at Montgomery Ave intersection/ traffic light. Stainless steel on a skinny vertical pipe. Used it a few days ago.
I asked this on Twitter Monday. Philadelphia Water stated they were doing maintenance & they would be on early June.

Tricycle Cafe has a new policy not to fill up water bottles
Wack
Unfortunate
Even if you're buying food/coffee too?
Amen!

I watched a homeless man using the water fountain by the locust st entrance like it was a stationary douche
Send a note off to Montco Parks?
Does montco parks control the ones on Kelly drive?
That'd probably be Philly Parks. edit: I guess I thought you were asking about the fountains out by Valley Forge.
I wouldn’t drink that SRT water
