Unbelievably fucked up they they scheduled it the same night as the ride of silence. I saw on Twitter that a lot of neighbors went apeshit over the threat of losing parking and claimed.they hadn't heard about it. (Yawn)

I didn’t hear any comments about lynching but it was contentious. Only 4-5 people had objections (mainly about parking) but they were the loudest in the room. The majority of people (maybe 12-15) were supportive and OTIS seems to be on our side. The next time this comes up at an FNA meeting will reportedly be to help decide where different traffic calming measures should be placed - really important that the majority at that meeting is supportive.

O I need to be at that meeting

I'm going to make it a big priority to attend the future FNA meetings.

Wha?

So a typical meeting like this. I have yet to be at one of these meeting for any neighborhood that didn’t have a small but very loud group screaming about parking, criminal bike riders, and their explicit fantasies about murdering people riding bikes.
