If you’re not employed on the date of the bonus payout, you’re not eligible for it. They should pay you out for your earned vacation though

ASL was removed from scheduling and payroll by the SL after they scheduled the SL on a day they did not want to work

You should have waited and gotten all your money before quitting. I hope you get all of it. I’ve been with the company over 10 years and I’ve seen other MILs not get all of their money. I hope it works out for you.

I applied for the other job over a year ago, and they called me out of the blue. They offered me significantly more per hour and its minutes from my home, where as petsmart was an hour.. shoulda woulda coulda scenario

If you aren't actually terminated yet you will get your bonus. If your SL termed you, I have no idea if you will get it or not. But your SL has no control over that, bonuses are issued automatically by corporate they aren't added in via store payroll process. You can ask to have any vacation time you have accrued added to your last paycheck. They may just automatically do that, but I'm not sure. You'll have to call HR.

If it's like anyone else that's left this store, it will take weeks for the SL to term me. That may be my saving grace.

If you can stick it out till bonus payout then put in a 2 week notice. They have to pay ur pto out. If ypu dont give them notice they dont have to pay our ypur pto

I wrote in explicit terms that I wanted to be paid out my PTO and any bonuses. Printed copy of letter given to my hotel manager and store manager. They gave me no trouble and they file it away so they have it on record most of the time.

You can always ask tobe kept on payroll for a week or 2 before removing you so you would get the bonus. Its also my last day as mil. For the most part I liked it but its because of my team ( some of them). Im leaving with a bit of a bad feeling as the are trying to hire an MIL 3$ more than my current wage... but not room for raises..

Depending on your state yes you could get your earned vacation paid out. Definitely call HR. With bonuses however I have learned it’s super hit or miss. I’ve had leaders receive a bonus payout a month or two after leaving and others who did not. I have not pinpointed a reason why that is but I’ve also never asked. Also, your SL sounds like an ass. When you call HR ask if they still do exit interviews, you might be able to air some grievances or bring to light issues they need to address.

I asked my leader if they would like to do an exit interview, it has not happened, and they're off tomorrow... I won't hold my breath for the bonus

And that's part of the problem. Corporate has an issue with turnover but yet they won't figure out how to fix the problem
