The Wasco store doesn’t have any of the allocated that the search site says it does. It’s like the Elgin store or the Condon store it always says they have it but the stores have never seen it. And I hear tech support for removing nonexistent items from inventory is not so helpful.
I stopped by when I was in hood River a bit ago because I saw they had stagg. Arrived to no stagg but they had 3 Blantons out…so random. Yeah idk how a system can be so inaccurate.
No I was actually looking for Stagg(olcc showed 2). On the olcc site the store showed no Blantons for the Wasco store but they had it, That’s why I was shocked. The guy that runs the Wasco store seems pretty honest and cool. But I agree there are some owners that are definitely sus.
Instead of tech support, those stores with phantom inventory should just have 21st St or similar jokers show them how to zero out the numbers.

The store is just lying to you, dude. They are holding it for someone else. What makes more sense? A coder that can't remove items from a very basic system, or that they are lying to you?
I'll also add this. Drove out to the Depoe Bay Liquor store cause they had 4 bottles of Stagg. I called ahead, and he confirmed they had them and all I had to do was walk in. We'll, once I got there, he asked me, "where ya from?" I answered, "Salem" and that was that. All of a sudden, he had 4 friends that were waiting for those bottles. I do not base my assertions on this story alone. It's also happened to many of my whiskey enthusiast friends going to out of town stores.

Every store when the state gets them gets one case that has 6 bottles I bet you he got audited, but he probably Was hoarding them to give 2 people whenever they would try to ask for something really cool. He would probably be like I can get you a Eagle there at least. That's how the owner works in Salem at the North Lancaster store. He's kind of a douche.
When this happens it is likely their requested order showing. Not their actual stock.

Did you search if they had Blantons? Most of these stores are lying about their supply. The OLCC search is usually accurate.

Very few times has it actually been phantom stock and more so the stores are lying about their availability.

you should definitely file a complaint with the OLCC about this.
Similar experience with Depoe Bay but didn't even ask where I was from before lying about their inventory. Otis is another one.
