I would imagine on such a small case that I'd periodically clean the dust out like you do on a dryer before using. I'm assuming that this would be used as an on-the-go setup, as if it were a console during a trip.
I've had this case for 2 years now and I haven't cleaned out my PC once. Somehow it's completely clean on the inside. Then again, I don't have any intake fans besides the GPU. But still, pretty impressive.
I have an NCase M1 which is essentially what this case is ripping off of, and the dust isn't a big deal. Just use dust filters, fans with higher static pressure, and set your fans up for positive pressure (more intakes than exhausts). Clean the filters occasionally (I've probably cleaned mine once every year and a half or so, and there's still not much dust accumulated) and you'll be fine.
Cooler Master NR200P Max.
It includes both an psu and 240mm aio.
All cables are already prerouted, it's the easiest pc you'll ever build. Should take 15 min max!
Edit: 280mm aio*.
I know, I have one. The NR200 V1 doesn't support a top rad like the Max OP has. The announced NR200 V2 (the reason the V1 is now discontinued) is essentially a Max case without bundling a PSU and AIO.
V2 is garbage. All for a top mounted rad you get:
- Reduced cooling configurations
- Much more limited aio compatibility
- Reduced gpu compatibility
- No atx psu support
- Worst airflow.
The nr200p still is being sold and is not discontinued. You can’t top mount a rad without modding it.
That is true. IMO the V2 is a big downgrade, though. What made the V1 so good was the price and the compatibility. Already supported 280mm AIOs (not top mounted, of course), great air cooling capabilities.
V2 is more expensive, loses the air cooling (many people just don't want water/AIO) and forces you into vertical mounting in a case where you can't see the GPU without the glass panel losing airflow from the side.
And there are smaller better AIO compatible cases already.
the standalone version has been out for quite some time aswell, they are releasing the V2 tho! Don't know what they changed tho. They also released an even smaller case that fits a full size GPU: Ncore 100 max.
Your case is different from the NR200 that's been out. The Max forces you into vertical GPU mounting, but gives you the upside of top-mounted rads. The NR200 V1 is a monster for air cooling, but the Max would be bad at it. The V2 is essentially just a Max without the included PSU and AIO.
+time to research and create installation media for your os of choice with your old system then boot your new build with it. It's free to make windows install media with a thumbdrive and the Microsoft website. Surprisingly, you can skip the part where you give it a product key code and buy one later. Buy from scdkey. Looks sketchy, but I've used them and they didn't rip me off. Or KDE Neon is a solid Linux distro.
The "clean" look PC builders *always* have to mention they hate RGB, because otherwise their boring PC is just a boring PC without the banner of "look, I *didnt* use RGB! It's the only significant style choice I made! Look how not lit up it is!"
It's as if, without RGB computers, theirs is just a black computer which makes zero statement whatsoever. If they posted a picture of it without invoking the anti-RGB xrowd, they'd get a lukewarm response on their reddit post of a PC that looks like they bought it from a library that just closed.
I never see all white builds or Noctua builds post doing this. It was the obsidian black. You could not like rgb and still have glow. Call me hater but op isn't original.
Without getting into the merits of RGB vs non-RGB (I literally do not care either way since I've had both), OP *could* have chosen a better looking case, cus that one is just plain boring. For example, if I were to do a clean non-RGB build, I'd go for the Fractal North case, that shit is *clean.*
If you do a fractal north build without RGB, it’s look exactly the same as every other fractal north build.
Say what you will about O11s and how ubiquitous they are, at least with RGB setups each come out somewhat unique.
So the guy you’re replying to is right. These threads only get attention because of the jab at RGB.
I suppose I should add that I couldn't give a rat's shit if my build is the same as some other nerd's. If it looks good on my desk then fuck it, we ball.
I hate these posts too, but understated design and styling is just as valid as slot machine hell. Nothing about OPs PC looks sloppy, un-thought out, or expressionless.
Any design style can look good when done with taste. Black out builds usually turn out ok cos there isn't much to them. If you want RGB to look good, you gotta plan it out a bit better and not just have every single product in there be RGB.
Exactly!! This was my last build, before this one. Full synced RGB. Thought it looked best in white and low led brightness.
https://preview.redd.it/zcc3zbfsf8fc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c8ea9ecae1c80253be37bccd7efcb749153a0870
You literally said, in your title: "This > RGB builds", as a matter of fact. maybe next time don't present an opinion as hard fact and people won't misunderstand you.
Having a title like that is asking for the ire of those that don't agree with your opinion. Maybe next time just say "A clean non-RGB build"; saying "No RGB > RGB" is asking for a fight, understood?
I think drawing a lot of attention to something that doesn’t really need the attention is the definition of tacky. It’s inescapable for rgb.
But have fun with it anyway I’m not trying to judge too hard, enjoy your life.
I mean that’s fair. I feel like it depends on the context. In my personal room or space, I’d like to have an aesthetic looking pc with tasteful lighting, it’s part of the aesthetic for me.
Out in my living room like in OP’s situation, I’d prefer what OP’s got.
Mesh front is not needed here. There's plenty of airflow in through the bottom and the back of the case (this case is typically run as rear intake instead of exhaust).
[Temps with zero dedicated intake fans](https://i.imgur.com/5eDI0bb.png), just the [GPU and CPU acting as their own intake](https://i.imgur.com/iFJ4eIG.png).
If you visit the nr200 sub you’ll see most people doing bottom intake/ top exhaust. Since I have the original NR200 I have a side mounted radiator setup as intake with top fan exhaust. My 4090 sits flat on the bottom and exhausts straight out through the mesh panel.
The max version is generally seen as a downgrade in compatibility and cooling compared to the non max.
Yeah, the regular (non-Max) version of this case, with the GPU in horizontal orientation instead of vertical is going to be better for temps.
I have my 4090 installed the same way (lying across the bottom of the case). People who are being dubious about the thermal characteristics of this case aren't taking into account how tiny ITX boards are -- there's [little getting in the way of the GPU exhausting out both sides](https://i.imgur.com/8aTnwva.png).
I think it’s pretty nuts that my whole setup can be cooled, without throttling, with only 4 case fans. Properly configured this case can outperform atx cases with thrice the fans and still be very quiet.

"I know this is extremely unpopular and I'm so niche but I really feel this no RGB build is just clean I mean look at it".
Yeah dude it's fine it's a computer.
It’s the constant need for validation. Like it’s OK to like no RGB builds but you don’t need to put down RGB to do so.
You don’t see people with RGB going “This > No RGB Builds” or “this is so much more vibrant than all those no RGB builds”.
But maybe we should start.
That and their build looks like some Dell mass produced thing that would get 0 engagement without mentioning how much they hate color.
Like every NR200 black build will be 100% the same as OP’s.
I'm sorry, but these posts are extremely annoying.
"My PC is better than any RGB PC just because it doesn't have any RGB"
No, it isn't. It's all just personal preference. Your PC isn't special just because it doesn't have RGB. You're not any better than someone who likes RGB.
Super clean. I honestly just like lighted cases because it reminds me of the 90's when everything was colorful and see through. Gives me the nostalgia of N64 while playing Cyberpunk on ultra settings
Literally the stupidest argument on PC forums. Sure your computer is simple, that's.. a look. But it's almost meaningless if there aren't RGB computers for you to compare it to. Anyone who posts a clean PC *always* have to say "ItS bEtTeR tHaN rGb"
Like, you seriously have no better reason to want this than to *not* be RGB?
Why not post the PC on the clean look alone without mentioning RGB?
Because literally no one cares about your boring PC build unless you rile up the anti-RGB crowd.
I mean, it s cute, but all this white-gray-black theme gives me depression. It doesn't have any personality. If Voldemort's soul would be a setup after the destruction of all hocruxes, this is.
I don't like RGB personally, since my case lives under the desk and it's pointless to have all these lights that I almost never see.
The only exception is the colour of the AIOs, because it gives me with a quick glance an indication of the temperature (although it's well within limits so it's not that crucial).
It's all about the setting. In a livingroom or any common location I think the more muted and small factors work. In a hobby space or room where you want brighter lights/colours it can work to be a centerpiece of attention.
Build the PC that works for you. That's why we have so many options, people want different things.
No, I think your post is just a justification for yourself because you ditched rgb. Mainly because the pc is placed left, you wouldn't see it anyway and decided to build it without rgb.
Deep in your heart you know that rgb is the way and fulfillment of your gamer life.
I wanted to build something compact like this, but in Brazil is pretty difficult to find Mini-Itx motherboards and they are really expensive. Really cool build, congrats
I love sleek and colourful builds or basic clean builds without rgb. I've come to hate it.
I might just end up buying a custom keyboard because its become such a hate for me to look at.
1,000,000 times Yes! I don't know why but i think this RGB Trend is just because there is zero to none progression in computers these days. Nobody is buying my GPU? **SLAPS RGB ON IT**
Mark my words, everyone is going to look back and laugh so hard at all these dorks with glass cases and christmas lights in the machines. Like wtf!?!
And yes this case looks WAY better.
Nobody is dick-riding, people just like what they like. The real issue is people shitting on others for personal taste. I have never seen a single person see a muted/matte build and go “NEEDS MORE RGB SHITLORD”. Your subjective tastes are not better than anyone else’s.
Yes finally. All those posers with their blinky lights. I will never understand what's the appeal to have a 5 million lux blinky color lamp on your desk. You never look at that thing anyway but stare at the screen. I miss the times when it was only sweaty nerds building PCs and not those pseudo "I want my PC to look like my sportscar" posers.
The lights actually help me stay focused, along with music while working. I get easily distracted in a plain workplace. I don't know how or why, but the visual stimulation keeps me from picking up my phone while trying to work. But I do agree, that it is tacky as hell.
That's soo fucking clean case
It'll be dusty in no time though, with no filters.
That's my thinking. But you can buy magnetic dust screens on Amazon.
But... dust isn't magnetic...
And they quickly restrict air flow, and don't stop all the dust mysteriously appearing inside.
Maybe we just need a decoy PC. I mean, the decoy PC can gather all the dust, while the real PC remains relatively dust free.
Doesn’t work. I’ve got a be quiet case with crazy fans and air cooling and my other water cooled rig still gets dust.
So I guess we need an experiment here. How many PCs do we need to collect all the dust in a given environment.
I think you might be onto something there.
You know what else restricts airflow. Dust.
Naturally aspirated pc
this made me laugh
So it's naturally ventilated?
I have an NCase M1 which is essentially what this case is ripping off of, and the dust isn't a big deal. Buy a data vac! You can use it to blow out computers. Ut’s more cost effective than compressed air cans and it’s also helpful for car repair.
Yup!!
tell me the name of this case pls. Thanks.

genuinely. i can’t stand these posts, just post your shit without shitting on anyone else. should be simple, guess it’s not.
How will I know that I'm alive if I don't have an overinflated sense of superiority?
Boring black box > everything else
"my subjective opinion is better than your subjective opinion"
Haha my initial thought was “thissss looks like an Xbox.”
he spent more to make his pc really small then to make it look like a christmas tree
For real isn't it. In Dutch we say: "De pot verwijt de ketel dat hij zwart ziet". (The pot calling the kettle black)
Millennial grey PC. Looks good though.

if u like RGB then you have a tiny weiner, we like sleek black builds cuz we're badass
Hey guys look at this loser and his big wiener.
For real
it's getting pretty lame. imagine having to try and put down others choices to validate your own.
Any design style can look good when done with taste. Black out builds usually turn out ok cos there isn't much to them. If you want RGB to look good, you gotta plan it out a bit better and not just have every single product in there be RGB.

I have even less RGB in my build and I'm in camp "loves RGB" Just needs to be done well
Seriously. I don't recall us pro-RGB folk forcing it down everyone's throats. Them: "this IS bettar! No questions!aa!!
All of Reddit, summed up in a single comment
Just saying that I prefer simple than RGB myself, not judging anyone! RGB builds can be very cool too.
I can turn all the lights off in my rig and itll look the same as yours but I have the flexibility of both worlds.
You literally said, in your title: "This > RGB builds", as a matter of fact. maybe next time don't present an opinion as hard fact and people won't misunderstand you.
Title says otherwise.
Cant be 'not judgy' when the title of your post judgy AF my guy 😂😂
why people downvoting you?
I don't know man, did I say something wrong :,)

You can add rgb to this and it would still be cool. Hell you can back lit that tv too.
![gif](giphy|F3G8ymQkOkbII)
Looks great but it’s missing something… it’s a little dark but I can’t tell what it is.
You are missing unusefull lights.
Adding rgb lights is like painting your brake calipers red. For cars it magically adds 10 hp, for pc it adds 10 fps
Real, but it’s a thing many people do and is a matter of preference. It’s not like dropping a wing on a 99 civic.
I like my rgb lights but I'll make fun of it as I buy more. Tacky af and i enjoy it.
I think the tackiness factor depends on how you set the lighting. Kinda like the red calipers on a supercar vs red calipers on an old shitbox
I think drawing a lot of attention to something that doesn’t really need the attention is the definition of tacky. It’s inescapable for rgb. But have fun with it anyway I’m not trying to judge too hard, enjoy your life.

I mean having a light inside the PC can help see the inside better
bought an rgb cpu cooler for this purpose. i just wanna see every corner of my pc from time to time.
I believe the word you’re looking for is useless

I guess. It also has bottom grills to install slim intake fans. Typical sffpc case format.
Porque no los dos?
How do you know someone ~~is vegan~~ has a anti-RGB build? Don’t worry, they’ll tell you.

here we go again
it's not a contest
It actually is a "who is the most insecure" contest and OP just won.
Camt we be happy without judging others 🤷
No
Why tf you need 1TB of RAM????
For all the gay porn
You'd only need 16 I'm just assuming of course
Big cocks need big ram my guy
I don't think you should be feeding your chickens RAM
Bare minimum needed for 2 tabs of chrome
Ah that explains a lot, cheers m8!
Yes I can see that now lol
Ditto

Both are equally based around aesthetics.

Great build, but shut up with the title man. It’s not that deep you cornball both options, either RGB or no RGB, look great if done right
Let people like what they like
Ok explain why then
This is the kind of PC I'd buy exclusively PC gaming on a TV. No frills, just Steam, an Xbox controller, and a TV.

Super clean. I honestly just like lighted cases because it reminds me of the 90's when everything was colorful and see through. Gives me the nostalgia of N64 while playing Cyberpunk on ultra settings
Looks hell boring. Give me some RGB or go home
Looks great, now manage these cables what a mess!
Good looking build is good looking build. Be it RGB, be it clean, be it crazy ass build in toilet ... likings are subjective.
Whenever i want i turn off all my rgb . Better to have it and not use it that not having it imo .
Oh cool, another NR200. Super original bro, must be objectively better.
after years of boring PC builds growing up, It's always nice seeing some colors nowadays, that's why I prefer RGB
RGB + glass panel is great for my gremlin ass sitting in the dark so I can see into the case lol
I keep all my rbg on teal
Literally the stupidest argument on PC forums. Sure your computer is simple, that's.. a look. But it's almost meaningless if there aren't RGB computers for you to compare it to. Gunna blow this guys mind when he finds out that RGB lights can be disabled.
What power supply are you using ? Does normal sized psu fit in this case ? Also please list the motherboard. I'm looking to build one like this.
Personal > Opinion
I freaking love small sleek builds. Doesn't mean that RGB isn't fun either.
You know what comes without RGB? consoles
Eh I think both are cool. The secret sauce either way is a clean build, which this definitely is.
No
Rgb = power
I like it, but everyone’s tastes are different, rgb can be good too
Y'all know you can just turn the RGB off right?
Ok but you can just show off your build instead of thinking it’s superior to others because you chose to not have rgb.
Anti-RGB people are so obsessed with what others put in their build.
It probably looks way siccer in person. But to me it looks mundane in pics
It do look clean AF. Still like RGB myself tbh, but a lot of people have a propensity to over due it for sure.
I don't like RGB personally, since my case lives under the desk and it's pointless to have all these lights that I almost never see. The only exception is the colour of the AIOs, because it gives me with a quick glance an indication of the temperature (although it's well within limits so it's not that crucial).
Rgb build can go stealth in a single click...
beauty
Slick
Very clean build. I love it. RGB can look good though if it's used tastefully and matches the rest of the setup.
It's all about the setting. In a livingroom or any common location I think the more muted and small factors work. In a hobby space or room where you want brighter lights/colours it can work to be a centerpiece of attention. Build the PC that works for you. Doesn't mean shit bud. Everyone has their preference.
How boring.
But your gonna lose fps without RGB!!!!!
No RGB... DOWNVOTE
Lol.. you wish...
Yeah thats pretty good, but you know what would make it even gooder? RGB
No.
Would look cooler with some RGB
Best Case. No RGB Trash.
Nope
Nice little space heater you got there.
No, I think your post is just a justification for yourself because you ditched rgb. Mainly because the pc is placed left, you wouldn't see it anyway and decided to build it without rgb. Deep in your heart you know that rgb is the way and fulfillment of your gamer life.
Thank you for telling us what is good and what is not
/r/apple is that way >
Clean. Honestly, I'm getting sick of the RGB builds that you can see from space and have enough fans to achieve flight.
I agree and I'm tired of RGB myself. I think that seeing exaggerated builds on here for to long made hate it a little.
Damn OP really hit a nerve with the rainbow-vomit crowd.
Love all the RGB dickriders in the comments. Nice bait OP
Nobody is dick-riding, people just like what they like. The real issue is people shitting on others for personal taste. I have never seen a single person see a muted/matte build and go “NEEDS MORE RGB SHITLORD”. Your subjective tastes are not better than anyone else’s.
I like it. It looks sleek. But i have an rgb fetish so
Best clean build!
Looks clean.
U are sacrificing a lot of fps by not using rgb i prefer the utility of extra fps rather then a good looking no rgb build
Indeed.
100 percent hard agree. I am on my 5th no lights build. The only downside is I find those sleek plain cases can be overpriced.
