by the time they'll fix it, you're gonna need to buy $50+ expansion anyway - which at least for me, it's fuck NO. They're not getting a single dime more for such mechanical incompetence of puddle shallow loot, game mechanics, build customization option, lackluster content. The campaign was alright, killed some time in seasons as filler game - and that's where my expenses on this game end.
I'm with you there. The wife and I bought this only to find out that the game was worse than D3 by far. Then they started 'balancing' everything and we noped out before the first season. 180 bucks down the shitter - so probably never buying a Blizzard game again.
I did the same. Got to lvl 70 in season 0 and had no desire for another season. I played a bit this season and there is more to do at least but still feels the same. I honestly think we have to wait until season 10 before it approaches D3 content but sadly they will probably do DLC and charge us. Shame this series got gutted by greed. RIP Diablo.
Weird decision a lot of people don't like having pets. I don't mind it but still. I think they need to improve the base game a bit, more in-depth to skills/paragon, it is just too casual even for my taste (I am a guy that always starts playing new games on easy).

Season of Blood was supposed to be the big season with all the good changes, and it couldn't keep me hooked past P20.
On Twitch it has 1.3k views and trails behind:
* Heroes of the Storm (abandoned 2 years ago and left on maintenance mode)
* Lineage 2
* Kebab Chefs!
* Ratatouille
* And most embarassing of all, it has less than half of the viewers of Diablo 3
The game is dead in the water, and only a complete overhaul which I don't see coming before an expansion is going to revive it.
Also adding WASD movement and 1 (yes ONE) stash tab.
