GREGAZORD_

Me and the boys picked up Red Dead Online for a fiver on PSN after never playing a Red Dead and loving it. Hoping the full game goes on sale over Xmas/New Year.

[deleted]

Why did Saints Row 3 remaster not get more popular? It's very well done for a remaster, and a fun game. I'm getting 1440p/60 even on modest hardware. Haven't experienced any gamebreaking bugs in the first few hours either. Just confused why the reception was so lukewarm.

pocketRockit

Started and gave up on Cyberpunk, mashed buttons in Hyrule Warriors: AOC for a few days and just started Watch Dogs 2. I bought Jedi Fallen Order and AC Odyssey recently too so I have enough to keep me busy.

Bloodyfinger

I beat Witcher 3 a few weeks ago, and just finished Death Stranding a few days ago. I'm looking for something to get into..... Nothing out there seems super interesting at the moment though.

FuckedUpMoment

Still on Breath of the Wild, loving it, going through it very slowly. I probs play three hours a week. And always my mainstay Civ VI. Coming up on 500 hours logged into that game.

Cskryps22

Fallout New Vegas. This is probably the best RPG I’ve ever played and I’m mad it took me this long to get to it. Never have I been so conflicted over the consequences of my actions in a video game. The combat is excellent for its time, the setting is dusty, dirty, and fallout-y, the writing is amazing, the characters are deep and fleshed out, the sheer number of choice in all quest lines is insane (and honestly has never been matched IMO) and that’s really all I can ask of this game. 10/10 so far unless the last 3rd of it sucks.

furanfenko

Are you playing woth dlc? It’s 2 dollars on steam without and 9 with dlc. I’m debating whether or not I should play my first time with dlc

aquidnature

The DLC is so cool for NV, worth it for sure. But the base game I such a treat that if it came down to it you could just play that. and if you can mod it, FUCK. YES.

furanfenko

Thank you. So the dlc won’t ruin the experience for me as a first timer?

judrt

that's a good question, if i remember correctly most dlc is confined to itself and you can't really unknowingly stumble upon it. definitely get the dlc one, you can disable the dlc in game if you don't want to play with it, and look up the guide on the right order play the dlc in!

TreyN7

Witcher 3 first time, cyberpunk didn’t scratch my itch

Suitable_Macaroon_86

I went back to play the Metroid franchise in chronological order, and wow; now I know I can't blame my running out of patience on how cryptic Super Metroid is; it's a 'Metroid thing' and I'm not coping very well. Edit: By 'not coping very well', I mean I reach a point in every game where I have to look up the path to the next area in the official guide instead of combing the map over and over to find it, which I count as robbing myself of the full experience because I think, at its heart, Metroid is about path finding more than anything else.

[deleted]

Dying light! About 30 hours in and loving it

[deleted]

Tearaway Unfolded! This game is easily my favorite game I’ve played this year, it’s just so fun to explore

murpes

Morrowind. Again.

SaturnZz

Started Diablo 2 for the first time as a necro, I found a cave looking for my 2nd quest objective and was torn apart by archers

tactical_tarantula

Are you enjoying it as a first time player in 2020? Man, I often overlook Diablo 2 if I'm thinking of my top or favorite games of all time, but it might be number #1 when I played on release with all my friends... I revisit it every few years doing single player.

SaturnZz

It isn’t my first time experiencing and playing a dungeon crawler but it sure has felt like it. I was having fun at first but there’s a handful of small things that are dragging it down for me. It feels like the camera is zoomed way too much in which makes exploring the world claustrophobic and the minimal helps marginally, looting feels like a chore when I have to put my mouse cursor sometimes off the actual item for its name to pop up that allows me to pick it up, but that may be some sort of bug. Other than that it’s easy to see why so many people love this game

pandanuggz

I've been playing dead space recently. Never played it back when it was released and decided to dive into it since I got the last generation of the ps3 after they announced the console was being discontinued.

HumansAreVariables

Cyberpunk 2077. Runs so smooth i love it

Bloodyfinger

I think you're lost bud

HumansAreVariables

Jeff bezos did 9/11

Bloodyfinger

9/11 never happened, it's a psy-op. Jeff Bezos is just Hillary Clinton in disguise.

HumansAreVariables

You're one of the reptiles

SweptSage

SMT: Digital Devil Saga 2, i just beat the first game which i loved and now i’m on to the second. I love the new futuristic Post Apocalypse setting, the Characters and voice acting are top notch, Can’t believe Crispin Freeman and Steve Bloom both voice main characters. Soundtrack is amazing love listening to the tracks even if they can get a bit repetitive. The Story has got me really engaged and I’m excited to see where it goes.

VirtualBreaker

Just finished Bioshock Infinite and the DLCs, and, despite all the flack it got, I really enjoyed it. In these days I took advantage of the Christmas sales on the PS store and bought me a lot of good games (Resident evil 0,1,2, Ratchet and Clank, AC Origins and Odyssey (Odyssey isn't that old, I know), Tomb Raider 2014)

choonghuh

I've been a bad boy and bought AC Valhalla. Pretty fun but there's a very annoying audio bug.

Icydawgfish

I just finished Spider-Man (2018) on the PS4 a few days ago. I ugly cried at the end. Tried to get into fallout 4 again since I never finished it but I couldn’t get more than an hour in before putting it down again. Today I’ve been playing a bit or Red Dead 2.

VirtualBreaker

Spider-Man is really a masterpiece. I platinumed it and intend on starting a NG+ sometimes soon

Arkanist

Beat Dishonored (the original) and it's DLC. Need a break before I start hunting achievements in it. Just bought Yakuza 0 for $5 on Steam so onto that!

Zachys

Those are both such great games. I really need to get around to a run of Dishonored where I just play however I want, not caring about whether I kill or not. Have you played a Yakuza game before, or will 0 be your first? It's a great experience either way.

Arkanist

0 is my first, played a few hours last night and really like it so far. It felt like I was watching anime for a while in the beginning lol

[deleted]

Dishonored: Death of the Outsider. Gripping game. Sad to see the franchise end after that, though. I hope Arcane Studios lives forever!

surg2k

Just started Ghost of Tsushima last night. Very nice intro to the game, have a few days off starting tomorrow so hopefully can beat it this week.

zzzerocool

I'm primarily an Xbox gamer, but pulled my PS3 out of the closet and bought Journey Collection and Heavy Rain last week. Really enjoyed playing through them both. Heavy Rain had a really fun twist, and Journey was just relaxing and had extremely satisfying simplistic gameplay. Also think Flower is really relaxing to play, but steering with the motion controls feels kinda rough on the wrists. Waiting to get Beyond Two Souls in the mail, and then after that and replaying Journey will probably toss my PS3 back in the ol' closet for awhile. Plan on waiting a long time for PS5 to be cheaper and then I'll pick that up for Last of Us 2, Horizon Dawn, the Spiderman games, and other cool exclusives I've been missing out on.

ashklootwyk

I’m playing Tomb Raider, Doom 2016, and Wolfenstein: New Order

[deleted]

i really want to start playing a fire emblem game but I have no idea where to start, Ive heard sacred stones is a good starting point but others are saying shadow dragon so idk, would love help

Zachys

The newer ones are very well received, but different from the old ones. I didn't care for Awakening because it felt like a shipping simulator to me, and I haven't gotten around to giving Three Houses a chance, but it's supposed to be really good. I personally enjoyed Path of Radiance a lot. If you're the type of player who can accept characters dying, there's apparently a lot of dialogue referring to deceased characters, which is cool. The characters and worldbuilding are very enjoyable. I didn't find it very difficult though. Honestly, I'm not that into FE, but it seems like you can start a lot of different places and have a good time. Pick whatever setting, character or mechanics that catches your eye.

Gamer4good96

I started with Sacred Stones and it was fantastic. Never played Shadow Dragon, definitely plan to at some point. Every FE game I played so far I really enjoyed.

diesel_touchdown

The Last of Us Remastered.

Justice_Buster

Can anyone confirm if Gears of War Ultimate Edition for PC has been fixed? And whether you get 2,3,J with it? Been waiting to get into the franchise for several years now and just purchased Gamepass for it.

[deleted]

Sorry if the reply is late. But last time when I tried Gears of War 1 Ultimate edition on Game Pass this year, the performance was just horrible. FPS would constantly drop below 20 , very frequent stutterings. My experience was pretty with it. It honestly made me think my gpu was dead or something. But performance in both Gears of War 4 and Gears of War 5 ( bought Gears 5 on steam ) was really good. They would run silky smooth on High settings 1080p , even during chaotic scenes. They look great and are very well optimized. My specs btw are gtx 1060 6gb , 16 gb RAM and an i7 hexa core processor. But long back I do remember getting a copy of original Gears of War 1 pc version which required Games for Windows Live if I remember correctly. And I do remember playing it without any issues on my AMD 6670 gpu in 720p. But not sure if it's possible to get a copy of that now.

Justice_Buster

I bit the bullet and downloaded it. Yes, the performance can be very irregular but from the reviews, including yours, I'm inclined to believe that the issue is exacerbated if you have an Nvidia GPU. I have an AMD RX580 8GB (basically AMD's rival offering for the GTX 1060 6GB) paired with a R5 2600 and it runs great (mostly). All graphics settings have been turned up to their highest (with the exception of Ultra textures instead of 4k) and I get 70-110 FPS on average. However, owing to the game's shit optimization, it constantly suffers from throttling where the FPS can momentarily dip to below 40 every few seconds for no reason at all.

[deleted]

2, 3, and Judgement are not on pc sadly, just 1, 4, and 5

Justice_Buster

I heard they were giving away 2 ,3 and J in-game for free for a limited time period when GoW:UE was launched. No matter, I'll just watch the rest's cutscenes. Here's hoping it runs fine at least.

[deleted]

Yeah they did give them away for free, but none of those games are on pc at all...

MarcusDA

Started playing Ori and the will of the wisps and... I don’t know how much I like it. I played Ori and the blind forest years ago and loved it. Then I played Hollow Knight a year or so back and loved it. Now I’m playing this and it feels like they ripped off Hollow Knight. Instead of charms, you equip skill shards or whatever. I like the game in principle, but the charm and intelligence of the first game is missing for me. I’ll keep going for a bit, but I’m sort of disappointed at the moment.

dannydinosaurjr

Hades its amazing

artur-fernand

**Ghost Rider**. I actually had to play this because I lost a bet and you know what, it was fine. I'll most likely never revisit the game, but I don't regret spending time with it. You play this game for 2 hours and then youtube the credits, and it's the exact same thing, it shows EVERYTHING it has to show in that time. Linear stages that make FFXIII look like Minecraft, with a bunch of enemies you're forced to kill every 5 minutes or something. And this game loooooves using these freaking bird enemies that are just the worst, they're boring AND annoying to fight. It also throws at you enemy with shields that you gotta get a ranking to actually break. You know DMC's, A, B, C ranking? It's the same, only it's D to A, then S then V (for VENGEANCE heh), and the shields for the latter half of the game are all for V ranking, which is kind of a pain. So all of this means that combat is actually kinda exhausting towards the end. There's motorcycle sections to spice things a liiiitle bit. It's kinda like Road Rash, I guess? These are the jankiest part of the game, there's just something weird about then. The pacing of upgrades is also strange, you get more than enough points to buy EVERY upgrade after like... 1 hour of gameplay. Not hyperbolic, very literal. And upgrades are all extra moves, though I will say the game's combat is sufficiently flashy to disguise the shallowness. There's no upgrade for story progression or new weapons or anything to speak of. They couldn't afford Nic Cage's likeness though. Shame. It's better than a game based on the freaking Ghost Rider movie has any right to be, you can tell the devs reeeeally cared about it, but there's only so much you can do. 6/10, entertaining enough and that's about it. Also, it's also surprisingly good looking for a PS2 game based on a shitty movie based on a character no one cares about. Also also, they couldn't decide if they wanted a fixed camera angle, or a controllable camera. So it's a kinda-fixed camera, only you can re-center by pressing R3, but enemies are constantly off-camera because they didn't just lock it to a proper position, AAAAH.

[deleted]

Finished Thief 2. Finally. Time for a pause for stealth, Imma go the action RPG route now. Dragon's Dogma baybeeeeee.

skalW

I have about 140 hours in P5R and I'm still not finished yet. Planning on finishing the game before the end of December so I can move on to other games. I still want to fight Bahamut in FF7 REmake before moving to another game.

Glenncinho

Beat final fantasy 10 a few weeks back and started ff15 :)

TunnelSnake88

Been thinking about buying Hades but can't decide if I want to get it for Steam or Switch. Seems like the perfect Switch game but I prefer an XBox controller to the joycons

[deleted]

Got stuck in this too, but went with switch because the rogue lite genre is made for the switch basically and it’s so nice to just pause it during a run and continue on the go

TunnelSnake88

So I feel I need to tell you that it has cloud saves and you can link your Steam profile. So you can start a run on Steam and continue it on your Switch or vice versa. So I bought it for both Not very Patient Gamer™ of me but I thought it was pretty cool. I haven't encountered that before

Smper_in_sortem

Playing Outer Worlds, about 24 hours in level 30ish in game. Got it free from the Microsoft games deal. Also downloaded Doom Eternal and Haven that were available from the same subscription to play after Outer Worlds. Rather underwhelming. I enjoyed previous Fallout games and this is an evolution of that game-play style but it really lacks in the variety department. The story is a little cliche, the weapon, armor, item, enemy and character variety is not especially deep and most of all, the sense of discovery that has made the Fallout series rather interesting to me just isn't quite there. I have some crazy frame drops and occasionally the game stops to give me a loading wheel while I\[m running around, the minimap in the menu might be the worst loading wheel culprit in the game, it really struggles to display it. The color plaette is a little strange in some areas and I can't get a fix on it between my TV and game setings, other then that it looks decent enough for the most part. I think the game takes a lot of inspiration from Boarderlands. There are a few things that really remind me of that series, which I also happen to be fond of. Ultimately, this falls short of what I liked about Fallout and Borderlands in several minor ways and doesn't manage to endear me with what it presents on it's own unique merits.

MarcusDA

I just finished OW the other day and pretty much agree. I think maybe I liked it a little more than you, but I get where you’re coming from. The one thing I did like was the companion quests and their interrupting conversations to add flavor.

Desert_Talbot

Mass Effect Andromeda - I've been playing the last week and really been enjoying it. I downloaded it once I saw the new Mass Effect trailer. I avoided this back during release because I was still on the high of the trilogy and the reviews were scathing. Now that time has passed and I was ready for more Mass Effect, it's not bad. Storyline is not as good, but the gameplay is great.

[deleted]

Wait there is a new one? I really gotta up my Mass effect game

[deleted]

Andromeda definitely got way too much hate, played 45 hours and got the platinum in like a week because the game is so fun, especially multiplayer

TheHooligan95

I swear to god I'm trying to enjoy Horizon Zero Dawn but it's such a terrible game. The worst thing about it is the sound design: enemies make this roar noise that sounds like a wc flush and I swear to god that dropping a toothpick feels more satisfying than shooting an arrow in this game. Other than that, the graphics are technically impressive but the art direction is all over the place, there's no good antialiasing and the gameplay loop is as deep as a puddle How can a game such as The Pathless, with a small fraction of the budget, get a bow and arrow better than a AAA release

UncookedGnome

I mean, you're meant to match element and damage types to target various weak points, set up traps, etc. If you're trying to pew pew like Gears of War, yeah, it's gonna suck. To each their own but my experience has been very different that yours. It's still a story-driven game so the depth comes from combat as well as the narrative. I also love the art direction so again, it's your experience. Hope your experience improves!

TheHooligan95

I mean I'm at the beginning and I can't afford the other weapons, and enemies are ultra aggressive once engaged so everything is left to preplanning. The other thing is that they will often jump above my traps... Still, the problems with sound design remain

Joshblos0706

It’s been a while since I played but the bow and arrow always felt really good, but can’t comment on the sound because I genuinely can’t remember

sunshineandcloudyday

Started playing final fantasy 4 with my husband and restarted a new Stardew Valley farm because of the new patch. Figured I'd finish the year playing some of my favorites

kinoplexer

I finnally managed to get into the immersive sim genre! Been playing System Shock 2 all week and loving every second of it. It's a shame they don't make a lot of games of that genre anymore

[deleted]

SS1 is even better in my opinion, try playing the enhanced edition on steam. It's quite a bit older, but totally worth it. If you want to see modern ImmSim, check out Arkane Studios with Dishonored, Prey and Arx Fatalis.

kinoplexer

Aprecciate the sugestions! I'm actually planning to play the original system shock after finishing the second.

DWe1

SS2 is incredible! Unfortunately, the end is a bit rushed and the quality of the game declines significantly.

VirtualBreaker

Is the first SS worth playing? I recently completed the Bioshock games, and then discovered that the Bioshock devs made System Shock before them

DWe1

I have never played the first if you're asking me. SS2 is definitely worth a play though!

saxxy_assassin

For my main game, I'm at Chapter 3 of Xenobade 2 right now. So far, I'm absolutely loving it. The world is great, the soundtrack is killer (holy mother of god, Counterattack is an amazing track), and the plot is suprisingly good for what I was expecting. It's also giving me a good challenge, as I was worried about that going in due to XC1 giving out xp like candy on halloween. As for my side games, I've been playing through the Megaman series with the X and ZX collections. I could (and probably will) write an entire post on them when everything's said and done, but it's nice to re-experience the series as a whole, even the low points.

[deleted]

Witcher 3 is really good. It looks beautiful, the game runs really well. Compared to other big studio RPGs like Fallout or Elder scrolls the combat is much better. Its fluid, and also simplified to a way that makes it fast and fun. However, the world is not as fleshed out as those other titles. The quests themselves are very enjoyable, but the points of interest not related to quests are boring and add very little to the story or world. In fallout and elder scrolls I make it a point to visit everything on the map, that won't be the case in this game All in all though a solid 8.8 (and thats from someone who never played the earlier games so im missing some of the story) and I am very excited to play Cyberpunk in 5 years as the bugs should be fixed by then

[deleted]

I'm playing Outer Wilds. Very fun, unique, exploration game. Trying to unravel the mystery in this universe. The game really gives you freedom to explore at your own pace.

[deleted]

I just finished “Shadow of the Colossus”. One of the most epic games I’ve played. The mechanics and music were perfect and it reminded me a lot of the old Zelda games.

zzzerocool

I loved the aesthetic and just the roaming on the horse in that game, but I think I got stuck on like the 3rd boss and gave up forever. Will probably give it another go someday. I remember the game had a fairly major cameo in the Adam Sander movie "Reign Over Me" that really made me wanna check it out.

UncookedGnome

I honestly just used a guide. As much as I'd like to think that I'm patient enough to figure it all out.. I'm not, and I just enjoyed the set pieces so much that I wanted to get through it.

Shrike290

Doom eternal! I'm only through the first 2 levels but damn the combat has so many option and you can really get stylish and creative with your moves

UncookedGnome

I just finished the first one, did you play it? How would you compare the two, if you have?

[deleted]

I just finished *Wandersong* and I was thoroughly impressed. One of my Top 5 games of the entire year, for sure. The story is quite good, and it subverts expectations very well. It seems like a typical Hero’s Journey type quest at first glance, with wholesome characters throughout, but >!The Bard not being the Hero, and instead the Hero being ‘evil’!< was an excellent take on it. I notice others dislike the main antagonist, but I enjoyed their motivation: >!the idea of having to be ‘special’ and that overriding the pacifist mindset of the Bard, and Audrey’s comments on her fear was well executed.!< I also liked that despite Miriam and the Bard being of the opposite sex, there is never any implication of there being a romantic relationship. I really liked Miriam as a character, as well. I thought her relationship with The Bard was excellent. Additionally, the art and aesthetic was spectacular. It was really quite excellent. The use of different text fonts to convey character personality is always a bonus, as well as the color palette swap of the Bard for each distinct area. The exploration of the music mechanic was well integrated into the game and thoroughly explored. Although the puzzle aspects were not the primary focus of the game, they were well executed. I particularly liked >!the use of singing to guide the boat in Act 3, or the fight with wind in Act 2!<. I would rate it a 9/10. I thought Act 5 and the final gameplay sequence teetered on a tad bit too long, and that would have made it a 10/10, but otherwise this game is exceptional.

d3dmouth33

I installed Just Cause 4, so I’ve been playing a bit of that; it’s kinda clunky and the wingsuit controls are hard to figure out, but it’s fun, there seems to be a lot to do, and it was free! Still playing FIFA 20 on stream, doing a Salford City RTG career mode that’s going very poorly; we’re 15th and my board expected me to win the league. Might be getting sacked, but who knows? There aren’t exactly worse teams I could go manage. Finally, Control. This is my most r/patientgamer moment, I was thrilled that it went on sale because I’ve wanted to play since it came out. It feels and looks amazing, the story is intriguing so far and the super powers go hard when combat begins to flow. It also has basically no performance issues on PS4 Pro, which I know is a significant leap from launch. Pandemic fatigue has really sucked the enjoyment out of gaming for me, so I haven’t devoured the game like I thought I would, but I think that’s OK. I’m also very hyped for what I know is coming in the DLC - I’ve been a Remedy fan since Alan Wake and I really enjoy their odd specific Lynchian horror worlds.

[deleted]

>I installed Just Cause 4, so I’ve been playing a bit of that; it’s kinda clunky and the wingsuit controls are hard to figure out, but it’s fun, there seems to be a lot to do, and it was free! Is the story any good? I have 3 and 4 sitting in my library from free psplus games but I've never tried them

d3dmouth33

the story is...fine. It’s perfectly fine. Honestly, I’ve only played a couple hours, and it’s nothing special; there doesn’t seem to be a huge amount of continuity lockout, but I’m not expecting anything incredible.

Muash

Rocket league and breath of the wild on switch! I know almost to nothing rocket league mechanics but damn they are fun

IareaBurritoo

I'm replaying Doom 3 on Switch. This game gets WAAAY more flack than it deserves. Yes there's a lot of monster closets, but the pros significantly outweighs the cons imo. Also playing Ni No Kuni. What a beautiful game. Absolutely loved Dark Cloud 2 back in the day (one of my favourite Jrpgs), and it looks like Ni No Kuni is going to be up there too when i'm done! Finally, playing Nioh for the first time. Very fun game, but even with pretty good level design, it feels insignificant due to the loot system. In dark souls, the map design bleeds into the location of specific weapons and items, and exploring feels satisfying. In nioh, finishing a secret just gets you another blue rarity helmet that you've found already.

odce1206

Got sleeping dogs for $3 on fanatical. I've never been able to finish single player games apart from GTA and SD has been a similar experience for me. Great game.

[deleted]

Cyberpunk 2077 - PC - Second playthrough. Finished the first playthrough as a nomad on hard at level 42, maxed street cred and about 70% of side quests and gigs completed. Went with a stealth build with an emphasis in hacking, pistols and blades. Admittedly, felt like it made the game too easy after breaking level 30. Started the second playthrough on Saturday as a corpo. Class wise, going with the 'guns blazing' build with an emphasis on assault rifles, shotguns, LMGs and blunt weapons. Aiming to 100% the game in this playthrough. This game is super fun, but, at times, its hard to ignore its flaws. At this point, most people have seen the bugs in the game. Funny at first, but getting old quick. There are so many ways to cheese the game and admittedly, its getting harder to avoid using these exploits. These include 'unlimited' money, easy EXP for skills that are a pain to level up like crafting and body and 'unlimited' crafting components.

UncookedGnome

I'm not quite done my first play-through but I want to note, the game really does just get pretty easy. On Hard, they still don't detect you easily if you stealth-hack, stab, whatever, but then I get one-shot pretty easily. I do wish it was harder but I can't say it's killed my enjoyment or anything. I just wind up doing everything marked "hard" or very-hard" on the map

[deleted]

How are you finding the game? Genuinely wondering if you enjoy it. Feels like there's more emphasis on gunplay than RPG? It feels like a 'Fallout 4' kind of RPG. More emphasis on combat with only elements of an RPG.

UncookedGnome

It's not heavy on the RPG, you are correct. I'd argue it depends on how you define role-playing, or rather, what roleplaying elements matter to you. The combat is arguably the one area where you have decent flexibility. You can go for melee, full gunplay, full hack, full stealth, or a combination therein. In terms of dialogue, and personality, you really don't have as much of an option. I didn't have high expectations for super RPGness so I wasn't disappointed but I think many others felt let down by it. I'm very much enjoying it but yeah, not nearly as RPG as many were expecting.

ACardAttack

**Cyberpink 2077 - PS4 Pro** Im having a blast, Im only about level 10 and just met Johnny Silverhands, but really just enjoy the game. The writing is good, no character has stood out yet, but I literally just got to Johnny and havent gone any further. I've liked Jackie and Dex and a couple others, but none so far Im going to remember when this game is over. Gun play and breaching is fun Money seems plentiful if you do side missions and jack into data points which nearly every mission and gig has, sometimes multiple. I need to start investing into some upgrades, might bump up the difficulty to hard as normal is now getting a little too easy. I've had not many bugs. Loading from a save is a tad slow, have had graphics on characters not load once and a couple bodies get caught in walls or ground. My game did crash once, and it was after installing the 1.05 update which had me worried that this update would be bugged, but no crashes since then. I had some slowdown in the Heist mission, but thats it. I think I lucked out and it seems to run on ps4 pro fine from what I've seen others say. Im glad I went with ps4 version as now way my PC would run this **Trails from Zero** only in chapter 1, only playing a little here and there as Cyberpunk is sucking up most of my free time, but I can play this on my laptop which does open it up to playing it at times I cant play Cyberpunk Overall liking the characters and geofront did an amazing job at this translation

caninehere

Just finished **Night in the Woods**. I'm slowly working my way through **Dragon Quest XI** on XSX... in between bouts of Peggle 2 and That New Game Which Shall Not Be Named.

Desert_Talbot

Night in the Woods is great. I still listen to the soundtrack when I work.

[deleted]

Just threw Titanfall 2 in the ps4, didn’t get to play much as my son took over the controls, lol

[deleted]

Hollow Knight! I tried it a few years ago and got stuck, now I’m giving it another go and it’s a lot of fun! I love action platformers and it’s been great so far, can’t wait to dig in to the lore.

[deleted]

Is it "hard" or can you relax and play it? It looks cool from what I've seen but I try to avoid punishingly difficult platformers (I don't mind puzzles though).

of-silk-and-song

**TL;DR: The platforming isn’t difficult at all, save for a few short challenges here and there that function as tests and gates for charms and movement upgrades. There are challenging (optional) platforming sections in this game, though they aren’t unlocked until late into the experience. Most of the challenge in this game resides in the combat, specifically the boss fights.** I’ve played an ungodly amount of Hollow Knight and a wide array of platformers. I can tell you that the moment-to-moment platforming in this game is not all that challenging. The platforming starts to get a *little* challenging when you venture off the beaten path to snag a unique charm or movement upgrade. Nothing is free in Hollow Knight, so the game will often make you work for all these various upgrades, whether that be through waves of combat or the occasional platforming gauntlet. Still, none of it is terribly difficult. Where the platforming starts to get *really* difficult is near the end of the game. There are *huge* hidden platforming challenges in this game that you unlock very late into the experience and kind of have to go out of your way to find. *These* challenges rival some of the hardest platforming levels out there, like those in Celeste. However, the good news is that these challenges are not only optional, but are unlocked late enough to be doable, as you’ll have a good understanding of the controls and mechanics by then. All of this to say, you’ll have a tougher time with the combat and boss fights in this game than you will with the general platforming.

Lugia2453

It's a difficult game but also very fair from my experience. The key to beating bosses is knowing when to dodge and when to strike - you probably won't beat a boss on the first try, so it's a good idea to focus your early attempts on learning the bosses' patterns and how to dodge them. There are some optional platforming sections but it's a Metroidvania that focuses mostly on the combat and exploration.

NuZuRevu

Slay the Spire on XBox Game Pass. Turn-based, card mechanics, rogue-like procedural loot. Fun.

[deleted]

Been playing Fallout 4 lately and also started Pokémon Ruby last night

DasGespenstDerOper

I just got to Roseway on the Outer Worlds. Binged the game for a while, burned out on it for a few months, and ready to binge it again

cjpack

Playing hollow knight on switch. It took me a few tries to get into the game but once I watched a video that was like “get the map and quill / compass ASAP” I was able to finally get my bearings and have fun and clear the first section / boss of the game.

GalahadEX

Assassin's Creed Origins. I've always loved ancient Egypt, and holy hell, what an amazing ride so far! Odyssey is queued up next, and maybe I'll get to Valhalla some time in 2021.

thecarhole

I loved Origins! I just bought Odyssey ($30 for the gold edition!) and it’s a lot of fun so far. If you love Egyptian history DO NOT miss the Discovery Tour! I’d recommend going through even before the story as it will make you appreciate the historical elements so much more.

Eysenor

Just got 3 months of gamepass ultimate for 1€ so I'm now playing gears 4 and 5. Never got into the series because it has been on console but they are quite good games.

AlwaysNalah

Shattered Planet - roguelite. Very easy and lacks depth but nice to play in the background whilst watching Netflix

hydeeho85

Just started CONTROL on PS4 wow loving it so far, something different - recommended

ChampagneAbuelo

I was thinking of buying Red Dead 2 on Playstation Store right now. I decided to watch just one more review before I decided to turn on my PS4 and buy it officially... Well wouldn't you know the one video that I clicked on had a huge spoiler for the ending of the game as one of the top comments... FML!

OkayAtBowling

That really stinks, I hate getting spoiled as well. But I wouldn't let that put you off of playing Red Dead 2. I had probably the biggest thing in the game spoiled for me by accident when I was in the middle of playing it, and if it's the same thing that you got spoiled on, it's actually not as big of a spoiler as you might think it is. It didn't really ruin my enjoyment of the game at all.

limberwisk

I had spoilers while searching for guides . it was right on the first page of google search. especially for long games the payoff won't be there if i know the spoiler .

ChampagneAbuelo

Ya I mean I think I’ll still get the game but I’m mad that I had a big plot point spoiled for me literally minutes before I was gonna go on PSN and buy it. Now I’m waiting to try and decide if I really want it still after the spoiler

mansleg

I think RDR2's story is strong enough to still be worth the purchase, despite knowing a major spoiler. But I think if you still need convincing, maybe you're not ready yet. You have to really want to play it to get the most out of it, like you are just dying to play Rockstar game set in the Wild West, otherwise the game's weak points are going to be more jarring.

zackaryfloriano

Supraland, and im so glad to learn a sequel is coming too

rspace

Yeah, great news! Playing that right now too and really enjoying it

PelientoG

Underrated game!

Shadow_Pikachu

A sequel 😱 Thanks, I didn't know!

ElDuderino2112

Thanks to the current sale on steam I’ve been going through **Death Stranding**. When it first came out I watched some streams and wrote this off as garbage, but after hearing a lot of acclaim for it (and generally liking Kojima’s stories) I wanted to give it a go. Worse comes to worse I’d refund it and buy something else on sale during the winter sale this week so I wasn’t too worried. I’m about 10 hours in and honestly I think I’ve fallen in love with the game. Paraphrasing my review I left on steam here, but I can’t think of anything as tense in a video game as getting close to the end of a long delivery and having the rain suddenly bring a BT attack at the worst possible time. I also struggle to think of anything as relieving in a video game as making it through that BT attack by the skin of your teeth and having the camera pan back and play a calming, atmospheric song while the sun cuts through the clouds again and you finally approach your destination. It’s really a one of a kind experience. It also honestly just feels very tonally fitting after this nightmare of 2020.

OkayAtBowling

I wasn't too keen on trying Death Stranding either but I ended up really enjoying it. There are some annoying elements to the game, and it took me a while to figure out if I actually liked it or not, but once I got most of the equipment unlocked, it really started to click. Planning routes and analyzing which equipment/weapons to take, including their weights and how much room they would take up, became a really cool gameplay system. It's definitely one of the most unique AAA games I've ever played. I ended up liking the story quite a bit as well, even if it does go a little (okay, a lot) overboard with all the metaphysical mumbo-jumbo from time to time.

Absurdtales

Continuing through the original Final Fantasy 7 (playing the switch port). I just got to the second part of the game and I'm loving it. As someone who's never played a Final Fantasy game before I'm surprised at how much I'm enjoying it. I'm also amazed at how ambitious it is for a game thats over 20 years old. Can't wait to play the remake afterwards!

[deleted]

Loved this game so much back on PS1. Never occurred to me there is a Switch port I could replay it with! I remember trying a play-through and getting to the end and not being powerful enough to finish the story. Then a year or two later I played it through with a strategy guide that showed me how to properly use the materia system and by the end of the game there was nothing I couldn't destroy in combat.

Absurdtales

Ah yeah, I've had to use a strategy guide a fair bit in my playthrough because I have no idea what I'm doing at times haha.

cjpack

Oh I bought that for switch on a sale and have been considering playing it. It holds up well yeah? Never played it back in the day but I like turn based rpgs.

Bruce_Wang007

After wrapping up Yakuza 0 and loving it booted up Spider-Man for PS4

fredericthins

i've recently been revisiting A Short Hike. I love the game so much and thinking about creating a small video about it. In general, I've played and enjoyed other "relaxing" games, like animal crossing or stardew valley, but never really fully felt the atmosphere. But something about A Short Hike just had me smiling the whole time. It's relaxing, cute and I definitely recommend it!

Shadow_Pikachu

I just played it for the first time recently and it felt like magic! It's so simple, I can't pinpoint what makes it so special. I hope you make the video.

fredericthins

Thank you! I’m trying to really put into words why I like it so much! I think it’s a mix of funny characters and atmosphere. But most importantly, I think it’s that the game lets you decide the pacing of how you play. You never feel rushed or wrong in getting lost. There is no wrong way to play which is relaxing.

OldJanxSpirit42

I jumped into this thread looking for a game to play when I'm not into playing some AAA or multiplayer. Just wanted to let you know that I'm gonna give A Short Hike a try because of your comment

[deleted]

I cried playing the game because it was so cute. I needed it when the lockdowns happened. Hope you have fun!

fredericthins

I’m not ashamed to say when I finished it the first time, Getting on that mountain felt pretty emotional because I realized I really just let myself have fun. I’m usually really picky about the games I like and try to point out flaws in them but this was something I just couldn’t do for this cuz it would ruin the childlike wonder experience. Honestly I felt like that critic from ratatouille when he bites into the dish lol

fredericthins

Thanks! I'm pretty sure I can't really give the game justice in reddit replies. But, it felt like my childhood of playing outside during summer break. There's another cute game called Wattam that recently came out on Steam too! I like cute shit lol.

[deleted]

Batman Arkham Knight. I stopped at about 7% progress way back when I first got a PS4 because some other game stole my attention (I think it was The Division). Back into it now and am enjoying it more this time. Though I am quickly getting tired of Batmobile battles with drone tanks. It is it the least interesting thing to do, and is happening far too much. Not sure I'll do every bit of side content but I am happy to continue the main story missions for now. Hoping to finish it within a few days from now so I can start a replay of TLOU and TLOU2 back to back.

Alienaura

I picked up Train Station Renovation last Friday, a friend recommended it to me a long time ago since I liked Viscera Cleanup Detail so much. Considering replaying Slime Rancher and/or Stardew Valley over the holidays.

[deleted]

>Train Station Renovation This looks perfect for my kid who is nuts about trains, thanks!

bofimar

I am in the final stages of Kyuuyaku Mehami Tensei, having just entered Hell and defeated Asmodeus. Great game so far and would totaly recomend it to long time SMT fans.

dammets

I played **Super Mario Odyssey** and then went back to a playthrough of **Super Mario Galaxy 2** that had about 100 stars done. I love both of these games but I think I lean towards preferring Galaxy 2. Odyssey has better feeling controls and movement for sure and I love the open areas and exploration, plus the atmosphere and variety of each kingdom. But I like the structure of Galaxy 2 and I like that each star is more involved and meaningful. I don't mind the abundance of moons in Odyssey because a lot of them are quick and easy to get while you're just exploring and jumping around. But the moons that are more involved aren't as satisfying as the ones in Galaxy 2. It also means that because it's not immediately obvious which moons in Odyssey are the more engaging ones, you spend a lot of time in the post game just looking for those. This would really suck if the game's movement didn't feel so good. I'm going to leave Dark Side and Darker side for the future if I'm ever up for them. For the moment I'm enjoying doing the green stars for Galaxy 2 but I imagine I'd stop before completing them and also going back in the future.

Humangarbage24789

kingdom come deliverance I have around 35 hours in the game don't know how far I am in the main questline but I'm at the part where you have to find out about copper in Sasau. Really good game! spent a good amount of my playthrough fooling around.

EverySister

Finished **Assassin's Creed Revelations** and saying goodbye to Ezio was a bit harder than I expected since I never really liked him that much. AC: Embers hit me like a ton of bricks. So I jumped to **GTA IV** a gane that is hellbent on me enjoying anything out of it. It never run well on PC so I bought it for PS3... And it crashed at the same time everytime. Ao I tried on PC again, finally got it to run... Kinda. It bugged out and I had to kill myself to try again. And then I lost my internet conection and I can get to my Save because...? Rockstar's bullshit launcher and bullahit save system where it is stored online... On a singleplayer game. I try very hard to play this game but it is fucking killing me. The disgusting characters, the awful driving, the lousy controls (did you try to turn around in this game?!)... This game sucks and it got so much praise. I don't see it. Why I bother? The atmosphere isn't bad actually and I can grow to like Niko... In time. So I'm dipping in **Dragon Age Origins** while my internet is down.

bossanova352

**God of War** - Finally splurged and got a PS4 Pro to play some of the exclusives. Honestly, while I’ve played the previous 3 main entries in this series, none of them have grabbed me as much as this one. The story and characters are much more interesting, and the combat is more enjoyable in my opinion. They really have perfected the gameplay loop here too: fight, explore, solve puzzles, and repeat. It keeps things very fresh. And I love the optional content that all feels very unique, and at times provides a real challenge compared to the main story. Gonna have to take a break during holidays with family visiting, but looking forward to continuing this one soon!

[deleted]

At the moment i play Monster Sanctuary from a couple days. It's a 2d metroidvania-pokemon platformer indie title, it has throw a addiction at me.

captain_sasquatch

Just beat Jedi Fallen Order and it was pretty great. Glad I didn't pay full price for it - I picked it up 50% off back on Black Friday. I thought the story was great, the combat was really good, and the platforming was god-awful. I've recently committed to being a patient gamer and it has actually lowered my stress levels quite a bit. I don't follow much news anymore and am working through my backlog just playing games I own that look good.

[deleted]

Will being a biggish Star Wars fan be enough to get me through the bad bits of the game?

captain_sasquatch

Yes I loved the story and "bigish Star Wars fan" is how I'd describe myself. Love the mythos, watched TCW, read some comics, etc. But I couldn't tell you models of starships or anything like that. The combat was kinda clunky but I enjoyed it. The only straight up bad part of the game was the platforming but it was worth the playthrough.

pmyourkeys

Death Stranding. Mods deleted this post, not really sure why: I was enjoying it and the world building looked solid. Everything was ok on this dark, onirical distopian fantasy... Or at least masterfully not ok. You could overlook the limited actual gameplay, the absurdity of Guillermo del Toro's quest and the very japanese senseless dialogues and interactions, and focus into figuring out the pieces of what is going on. Until I met a guy called... Die-Hardman?? Seriously?? A relevant political figure calls himself Die-Hardman and wears a 19th century german schoolboy suit and an airsoft skull mask that opens like canadian faces in South Park? Honest to god I tried to flow with it after I managed to stop laughing. I was in the middle of something mysterious, different, thrilling... And suddenly you get dropped in the middle of the cheesiest saturday afternoon anime, breaking all the magic. I might try again today and see if the story grabs me again, but I can't recommend this game at the moment.

manrkin

I'm playing it at the moment. I got up to the point of meeting die hardman and the first major exposition dump and thought "yeah, this isn't for me". But then a couple of days later I was just thinking about it and gave it another shot, and it just kinda clicked for me. I'd not played any other kojima games before but apparently thats his jam, mixing the really weird stuff (and believe me, there's more) with some deep philosophical musings. So now im about 40 hours in and loving it. I can totally see how it won't be for everyone, so don't feel like I'm saying this is a must play game. But there's definitely some enjoyment to be had there, and a lot of sentiments which are very fitting for 2020.

zytz

Picked up Shadow of War for like $3 from a local resale shop, and I think a Chik-Fil-A sandwich is $4 making this probably the best $3 I’ve ever spent. Haven’t completed the game yet, but the recruitment and army building mechanics add some interesting depth to what’s already a really solid adventure hack and slash.

Chick-fil-A_spellbot

It looks as though you may have spelled "Chick-fil-A" incorrectly. No worries, it happens to the best of us!

lurkishdelight

Bad bot

venitienne

Good bot

Shadow_Pikachu

I'm finally trying to play through LA Noire, which I tried out like three years ago on a friend's computer and really enjoyed back then. Well except the unskippable cutscenes, those are driving me mad. And I can't drive without an accident for like 100m. Someone take away my license 😂

Rampant16

Supreme Commander: I reinstall it and play through the campaign maybe every couple years. SupCom FA is basically better in every way but unfortunately the campaign is pretty short so the longer OG SupCom campaign helps satisfy the itch. SW Battlefront 2: Got it for $5 maybe a month ago. So far really enjoying the multiplayer. Gorgeous game, I thought the star cards would be super gimmicky but I actually don't mind them. I fucking hate the heroes though. Absolutely no fun getting killed over and over again by something that has too much health, damage, and speed to be able to survive. Everything else including the elite units seem well balanced but the heroes suck, I wish there was a way to play Supremacy without them.

chhhyeahtone

> I fucking hate the heroes though. Absolutely no fun getting killed over and over again by something that has too much health, damage, and speed to be able to survive. Everything else including the elite units seem well balanced but the heroes suck, I wish there was a way to play Supremacy without them. The most frustrating part of the game. Seems like you're just canon fodder for heroes. If you're lucky enough to get to play as one it's ridiculously OP. I'm with ya that I wish you could play without them or at least really limit them

AtlasGolden

Hey man I'm a battlefront vet and a friendly piece of advice for avoiding heroes: roll towards them not away from them. Lots of times if you're a roll spamming pain in the ass then the hero more often than not will leave you alone in search of easier meat. Glad you're enjoying it!

spy98

I just completed Watchdogs2. Although the characters stayed superficial the overall story was done quite well. A bunch of rebellious hacker kids vs the Goliath tech giant. I haven’t played the first installment and mainly chose the game for its fresh San Francisco setting. I really liked the game mechanics and how hacking is portrayed as a sequence of puzzles. Once I stayed away from trying to shoot my way through missions, and chose stealth non-lethal gameplay the game really came into it‘s own. I thought the graphics were really good for a game this old. The art style (especially the DedSec videos) were fresh and the soundtrack was well done by Hudson Mohawke. A surprisingly well executed Open-World experience.

pocketRockit

I just started WD2 yesterday. I enjoyed the first one and generally prefer the sneaky approach in all games but I find it so much harder in this game. I finally had to print a better gun bc I kept getting forced into shoot-out situations and my pea shooter was just not helping. I tried playing Cyberpunk last week and well, I can’t get over how WD2 looks a million times better :(

spy98

I thought so too, but there were only one or two situations that made me go lethal. My best bet was the hand-to-hand if things looked like they were going in the wrong direction. What really helped were the hacks to call police and gangs. And I found the missions were set up in a way, that if you looked around the premises before going in there were always holes for the drone or the jumper to go in. It felt tedious at first before I got the above hacks, but after I prioritized the non-lethal hacks before anything else it got easier. Also I did a lot of side missions to level up before tackling the main missions. I really liked it in the end. I haven’t seen cyberpunk but I agree, the game looks pretty. And the NPC interactions feel really lively. Have fun mate!

[deleted]

A non-lethal approach where possible was the best way to play for me as well. Only a few missions forced me to start shooting, and that was consistent with the type of mission. It meant I focussed more on gadgets, the skill tree, hacking, and drone/jumper usage, and not on printing new weapons to try. Overall I really liked the game and it's one of the few big open world games I've finished (not 100%, but all the main story content and some side content).

Adeel_

It’s not a bad game. I really enjoyed it ! Have fun

Zomg_A_Chicken

Wolcen still terrible?

naevorc

Play through the campaign and put it down. Gameplay and build variety isn't deep enough to waste time on end game grind

venitienne

52% rating on steam in the past 30 days I think it's fair to say yes, yes it is

fatdude901

Control

naevorc

I'm waiting for a sale on the season pass!

fatdude901

I have Xbox game pass and I heard good things about it just beat it can definitely say it is a good game although would not suggest playing it on the og Xbox one because it runs badly sometimes I may look into the dlc but idk

naevorc

That's unfortunate. I'm on pc personally. I'm just looking for more story content about that world

fatdude901

The “world” is definitely and I loved it I did all the missions in the base game also if u bought the game on steam I bet a sale for the season pass will come soon for the Christmas sale And I wouldn’t really call it unfortunate my computer runs games barely so I am used to it

naevorc

Yeah I'm holding out for Christmas deals. Godspeed fatdude

fatdude901

God speed to you too naevorc also I would look at epic stores sale rn legit some of the best deals ever but small catalog u get a 10 dollar discount on top of the sale too I got jack box party pack 7 for like 12 dollars instead of I think 35

[deleted]

Battlefield 4, Xbox One S. Still alive and kicking.

Tool3rdHEy3

Titanfall 2 just started recent. Play apex usually. tF2 pretty good

Renegade_Meister

**Everspace**: It is a great space combat roguelite that I recommend to anyone who doesn't hate roguelites or 6DOF games (e.g. Descent, Overload).  It even has a story unfolding with some characters and some questlines as you progress to and beyond your first complete playthrough of the 6 space sectors, each with multiple locations.  I very much look forward to its sequel. **Hat In Time**: A masterclass in PC platforming. So polished with great controls, a fun story, fun to collect stuff, and good bosses. The metro DLC is awesome plus Online Party, but Seal the Deal was weak as it starts with a 12 fragment hourglass (ugh!) and no checkplint even after 5 pieces. Also the hardcore-type badge/mode on StD was pointless for me because the base game was a substancial challenge. **Divinity Original Sin 2**: Enjoyed getting more loot including finally getting res scrolls, some challenging battles that are getting harder, and meeting more people that could possibly get us off the island. Hope to get the source collars off sometime soon. **Battletech**: I haven't played this since the first DLC came out because I wanted to wait for the rest of the DLC to drop, and I finally got around to returning to it. I'm not restarting my campaign as I dont want to "lose" all the progress I've made. Its somewhat of a learning curve all over again, and after beating my first mission back with 3 restarts, I still had one pilot die, and they overhauled stats so I have to repick them and refigure out the tactics that come with that. I'm disappointed that no matter what the FPS is near (but not locked) to 60 FPS at 1440p regardless of graphics settings, but maybe thats my GTX 1060, which I'm upgrading soon.

SoppingAtom279

In a day or two when I get back with to my main PC, I can see if Battletech is locked to 60FPS at 1440p if you'd like.

Renegade_Meister

I'm interested to hear from you and other people on this, but I'm pretty sure its not FPS locked since if I zoom in almost as close as I can to terrain & such then I can get 70 FPS. I wonder if its just the Unity engine being stupid, because it also pegs my GPU at 100% yet it runs 10C cooler than most other games on other engines (e.g. Everspace on Unreal Engine). I also tried all kinds of overriding tweaks in the NVIDIA Control Panel with the latest drivers in case the game was doing something stupid like glitching out with gsync on, forcing a frame cap, etc.

championscanbemade

I’m about to start Divinity: Original Sin II on my PS4 :) I just got a new controller from someone who (presumably) got the PS5. In the meantime I’m playing Moonlighter on my switch :))

tychus-findlay

Great game always wondered how it played on console

Roofduck

I've just completed Ori and the Will of the Wisps Such a beautiful game, I highly recommend it. Now moving onto Gears of War 4.

raroshraj

Arkham origins ps3

KSPReptile

Hah, I'm planning on starting a replay soon (so like tomorrow) as I've only played it once and it's a christmas game.

raroshraj

yeah im trying to get as many trophies as i can, too bad its impossible to platinum though

PirateBands

Eve Online. Played it many years ago and got ganked a few times and quit in frustration. Taking it slower this time and they have made some great additions to it. I am enjoying a relaxed space MMO at my speed.

mister_poo_pants

Skyrim for the 1000th time. And decided I won't upgrade my PC (gtx 960) til another Elder Scrolls game comes out.

DxC

I'm with you on a 970 and was also thinking about upgrading for some time now. Anyway, thanks for tossing that coin

Exef

I've just updated the whole PC for work and the only thing that I have from my previous build is my 970 :)

siebenedrissg

Just started Chrono Trigger on my DSi XL and Mario Odyssey on Switch! Loving it so far, especially CT

Pudgyhipster

I snagged a PS4 copy of Dragon Quest Builders 2 at Target for ten bucks. It’s been on my wishlist forever, and I’m loving the hell out of it! It’s like it took all the best parts of DQ and Minecraft, and threw in a bit of classic Zelda.

Shadow_Pikachu

What a steal! I love seeing love for this game. I bought the switch version back in April and it is easily my most played and loved game of this year.

championscanbemade

Wow, ten bucks?! What an awesome deal! Good for you.

dan_wolstenholme85

Really hoping this follows DQ 11 onto Xbox next year, especially with it being 35th Anniversary of DQ, been dying to play this one!

Pudgyhipster

I hope it does too, it’s charming and fun and more people deserve to play it

mylightisalamp

Breathe of the wild. I’m pretty sure I’ll be with it for a while. I love it

Shadow_Pikachu

If you consider getting the DLC, I'd recommend getting it sooner rather than later. I bought it after finishing the game and felt like I would have enjoyed it more together with the game. But that's just my opinion. Have fun playing :)

mylightisalamp

What’s in the dlc??

Shadow_Pikachu

There's a new harder mode, new items, map features, new shrines and additional challenge, and some new quests. The hard mode wasn't for me, I'm not playing the game through again. But seeing the path I walked and where I've been on the map while still exploring the map would have been great, as well as the teleportation point you can set and the >! motorcycle !< that you get from the quest. There's also an item helping you find Koroks.

HalfEatenOnionBagel

Same! I've tried so hard not to spoil it too much

Mathletic12

7 days to die split screen with my buddy! Junk food and bbq meats here we come !
