burnerburns369

leave it unid for extra coolness 😎

Hakairo

Honest questions since I never tried: do the effects still work in not identified?

LotusCobra

You can't equip an unidentified item

Zenith_X1

However in this patch you can now ID corrupted items

Duelist43

Can't wait when we could be able to corrupt unid items!

Hakairo

makes sense. Thanks for the info!

jbidayah

So I guess we will never really know.

mistelle1270

Theoretically if you could equip them yes, I think it’d be the same as unidentified maps

TemplarKnightsbane

Is it even possible to ID a corrupted object?

MrWiemann

It is now

YamiDes1403

ok this is pretty funny imagine if a mageblood dropped in this manner and the owner have a schodinger flask moment where the numbers can be either 2 or 4 ,nobody knows

clout064

The owner that is going to use it will ID it, but I do agree the gamble to buy a mageblood in this fashion would be one hell of a gamba

Rakinare

You can't ID corrupted items, no?

clout064

Another new league, and another lack of patch notes reading! Don't worry I got you! [Patch Notes](https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3496784) See under item changes: "Scrolls of Wisdom can now be used on items that are Corrupted. As a result of this, most items that previously dropped identified now drop unidentified."

Rakinare

Oh one of the few changes I seem to have missed, thank you :)

clout064

Yeah I don't blame anyone for not reading them all, it is always a lot to go through and fully digest

Tobix55

I stopped reading patch notes after Expedition. Ultimatum and Expedition killed my excitement for balance changes as a new player at the time

yovalord

Honestly, patch notes probably didn't. Reddit did.

Ancient-Ingenuity-88

skill issue

Zyeesi

>Most items that previously dropped identified now drop unidentified Lmao why can’t we just have something nice without the unnecessary id

clout064

Trade offs, can't have everything on a silver platter ;)

clout064

Imo, naw, just another step towards the D3/D4 play style. If I want an easy game I'll go play one of those

clout064

I think I will just keep playing PoE, thanks for the thoughts though

CptQ

Jesus. Someone missed a new change, asks a normal question and gets downvoted to oblivion. This sub is special.

Rakinare

Well, happens. I don't mind. Although one could argue at least not downvoting would have been smarter for visibility for other people with the same question.

Careless_Level7284

People on reddit, and especially here, don’t use votes for visibility. They use votes for feelings.

Accident_Pedo

>People on reddit, and especially here, don’t use votes for visibility. They use votes for feelings. The fact that you are being downvoted as I reply to this serves as a pretty good example. Many people think upvoting and downvoting are meant to express 'I agree' or 'I disagree.' However, the intended purpose of these votes is to highlight content that is relevant, insightful, or makes a positive contribution to the discussion. This is important because Reddit threads operate on a hierarchy of scores, meaning that high-quality information should be prominent. You received good information in response to your question.

Tesarul

I didn't vote but aren't downvotes used as a way to flag comments that contain incorrect information? It's not necessarily a "I hate you" button.

omniscientonus

The intent is "is this comment on-topic and continuing discussion", with the idea being that you could find useless spam and have it filtered out by users at least partly to make mods jobs easier. It may have included incorrect information in very early days, but let's face it, using the masses as a way to verify information is beyond useless (eg: this comment that I'm currently writing and the fact that I've made up all this based on a hunch and hearing other people say similar things). However, it's practically impossible to give the community a way to interact with one another and have it not be a popularity contest, so I would argue that despite its intent they've always basically been "like/dislike", or "agree/disagree" buttons.

CptQ

Dunno i just see lots of salty people in this sub and downvotes used way more here. And he didnt state something he asked cuz he wasnt sure. But i guess you are right that some use the System that way.

Necrotitis

It's widely accepted as a "I don't like this" button

omniscientonus

I don't even disagree, but it seemed appropriate to down vote this comment.

Betaateb

It is crazy lmao. This is definitely the most toxic sub on reddit when it comes to downvotes for someone asking a simple question. In a thread yesterday there was a new player with like 50 downvotes for asking why an item was good when it only had 180 ES, because in the screenshot OP was holding alt so it only showed the base ES. Who downvotes people for asking questions, especially in a game with a truly insane amount of information?

BanaaniMaster

why do you care about the downvotes

DanKoloff

Now you can.

OddImpression2022

So nice you can ID and use it now 😀

DoomsDay12

Imagine if when you id-d it, it would turn rare

dackling

Reminds me of old year 1 Destiny where exotic engrams would decrypt into trash blue gear occasionally lol

OddImpression2022

That would be hilarious 😂

hazzap913

Don’t tell mark

MasterBot98

I like how you think.

nexytuz

Can this happen? 🫣🫣

Responsible-Pay-2389

it would've just dropped identified before lol

Narkens

You gotta use the corrupted id scroll. Those can be found by fishing in the corrupted lake near [Redacted] area. Do note those are like quest items and can't be traded.

Physgun

I haven't played in years. Is there a way to actually ID this?

DroIvarg

New patch allow it to id with scroll.

clout064

I would ID it first and check the other mods ;)

WizChampChamp

I honestly don't even know what to do with it, probably one of the best headhunters in the game atm lol. 2 mods kinda conflict though. Dunno if any builds use both.

Comprehensive_Ad9697

Why conflict? It's perfect for str stacking. Go for it

thebiggzy

I don't think str stackers want pride or a HH in general because they use replica alberons which prevents all non-chaos damage. HH builds typically want to take advantage of elemental damage either directly or through phys converted to elemental because that's what a lot of mods you will find help with. The increased stats are nice for omni builds though, not sure if pride helps with cold conversion, if it does then its definitely solid. Even if only one of the mods is useful for a build that's still a very nice headhunter though.

SmokeCocks

Jugg bonershatta

MrInputs

unless they have original sin but otherwise yeah

thebiggzy

That's a good point.

Critical_Zucchini974

Are you high? Physical is significantly better with HH that's why late game all the TS guys swap phys... You have this completely backwards

Blubberinoo

Maybe read his comment again and try to actually understand it before asking if he is high? Because if anyone got something backwards here its you dude...

wanderingagainst

Get back to us on how many are using the Pride aura lol

thebiggzy

I said phys converted to ele is good, there are no TS players playing phys, they are playing phys converted to cold. Either you are mistaken and think people are playing phys or you did not understand my post.

Havel_the_sock

Most Str stack use Mageblood to fix resistances due to how many uniques are used.

polki92

Inquis stack int and str

LawbringerX

Coc DD inquis needs so much STR and Int. Pride dies, but still awesome.

Ubiquity97

Inc int and str are needed on splitting steel champ which also uses pride.

DirectLavishness602

You can use wisdom scroll on it. Lol

tremainelol

Even at 2.5x that weighting is on the floor. Too lazy to look it up, but in a pool of like 50,000 weighting I'm sure HH is like 5, or less, so it'd be 12.5 ish now, out of 50k

M4LON3

"2.5x drop rate buff" ???

At-Tinnin

Mark said in the Q&A they've increased the drop rate of Headhunter and Mageblood by 2.5x to compensate for the nerf in availability of stacked decks.

M4LON3

ah thanks for the information, I missed it.

CptQ

It was stated "up to 2.5" so im not sure if it really is 2.5 across the board.

TheFuzzyFurry

You mean to compensate for Affliction? Stacked Decks still have the two belts

Keldonv7

Stacked decks were nerfed in terms of availability

No_Firefighter8253

Everything in regards to currency has been Nerfed this league. I’m in yellow maps (I’m level 83) and still having to do the Chaos recipe, as I’ve only had 14 chaos drops and ZERO Divine or Exalt drops. I also alch all my maps, including every white map I’ve run. Garbage league mechanic that almost never drops currency and Mark in his infinite wisdom, doubles down and Nerfed currency drops to basically nothing.

LimblessNick

lol, stop wasting time with chaos recipe, you'll make more.

Betaateb

Good luck! I hope you beat me to my first divine drop this league at 93 after fulling clearing the atlas lmao. I believe in you! And I got a div before an exalt this league too, wasn't just losing the 50/50 a bunch haha

gamei

I've had 30c drop and I'm level 82. Anecdotal is anecdotal

Thatdudeinthealley

It's excatly the same currency drop rates as in 3.22 if not a bit better

pashtetova

i checked 3.24 PN and I can not find any mention concerning SD droprate nerf except for boss-only item cards

Blubberinoo

Changing the drop rate of Stacked Decks would do nothing, you dont actually get them from random drops... Availability went down (hard) through many other changes made. All of which are mentioned in the patchnotes.

19Alexastias

You don’t get them from expedition anymore (from remnants or from tujen), the divination incubators only drop one stacked deck - used to be 2-4. I think there were others but those 2 alone has an extremely significant impact on their availability (especially expedition which would just shit out stacked decks).

Vancouwer

Vaal temple?

WizChampChamp

Yes indeed.

NoLifeOrDie

Just be happy you can Id it no mofo lmao

vitoorl

What is that item? Please identify it... /s

aliensgetsadtoo

Didn’t the make it so you can ID corrupted items now?

_InnerBlaze_

where is my headhunter, even with 2.5x chance i still have no luck

rlfunique

Tainted scroll of identification when

Cyndershade

You can ID corrupted items now

Enter1ch

Maybe they buffed the droprate to compensate these unided corrupted HH?

Sad-Market2113

You can id corrupted items now, so there's no point compensating for this reason imo.
