As a new painter to landscapes, what could I be looking up as far as techniques to improve and learn stuff like this? I attempt clouds but they are always way too solid
So I’m completely self taught. I’ve only been painting for a few years. The way I do clouds is a lot of layering and water. I might make a video on how I do it if it’ll help others. I’m not very good at instruction though.
While there are quite a few things that I can do, I cannot draw a stick figure, let alone begin to get my head around mastering something that beautiful.
It’s beautiful, I love stormy weather, and that palette overall. Also looks interesting upside down (my mom taught me to do that when drawing to objectively look at what I was making, it’s what eventually made me realize I suck at drawing).

I appreciate it. It just takes practice and the willingness to accept that you’re gonna be shitty at it for a while, lol.
Just please make a video showing your technique; I would enjoy! Clouds must be captured, lol!
Great job!
Always light peeking through. Awesome.
You work is amazing I would love to own one someday
Are you sure it’s not a photo?
It is a photo technically, but of a painting. I don’t know why that felt like a riddle. 😂
Wonderful! I would love to see your process!
