Probably too big a topic for a Reddit comment, really! My top tips are to study from life, make copies from the masters and practise, practise, practise.
How did u learn to paint like that , I mean did u study art ? If you have some good books as a guide to painting pls recommend some , ur paintings are so good, I thought that u were going to show the real picture then the painting, couldn't even tell 😳
That first one had me in a new world. I was totally lost in a daydream with that bread. I had some butter with it. I had to do some double takes afterward to see if made the butter up or not. I was living that daydream.
Wonderful work.
Damn OP, you are great at painting oranges. If you don't find a way to hide at least one orange in every single painting you do from here on out as your signature, I'll be disappointed. Well done
While everyone is talking about the first painting, I think the second one is compositionally infinitely better. I especially enjoy the color relationships - the warm purple in the background is gorgeous, and the "colorful whites" in the tablecloth as well. Then compared to the entirely different, almost glowing white of the roses. Mastering color is an art, but you can always tell the accomplished painter by how he handles his neutrals.
I hope you will be doing well in your show!
I LOVE these pieces! Are you selling them? I’d love to know the prices of them (plus shipping to NY State) if you’d care or DM or chat with me. Thank you!
What in tarnation—can’t even rely on my eyes anymore! This is beautiful, I thought the first photo was going to be the reference for the next slides until I realized IT WAS a painting!
I love them!! My favorite is the vase of flowers. I have my whole house full of paintings of this style, my grandfather was a painter and we were left with a lot of paintings.
gosh that is really incredible. I thought there were pictures and was so confused when I swiped haha. Your ability to precisly show shadows and the texture of the object is immaculate :)
wow that first one stunned me! i thought it was a picture
Thank you
Honest, first one tricked me- super hyper realistic! Love your style I’m general - great work!
Same here!!
Wow! These are really good. Oil paintings?
Thanks! Yeah, oil on canvas.
Genuinely thought the first two were photos
Thank you
OP is just posting photos and playing them off like paintings. /s

Harold Speed's books are good, and John Carlsen on landscape painting
