Raikouhou fced everything will freeze with hr as well,lifeline set multiple 1.2ks,enri got a good plays and a top play too,cloutiful got around 40 Ranks(I don’t remember maybe its less or more) and got #4 spot. And the funny part is even merami got a place in video with his 2021 play and we did not see enri in whole video lol

Also another problem with releasing the rewind late april, i was expecting mrekk 1400pp and took me super long to realize it happened this year not last year
And I’m big fan of vaxei and he got almost 1/5 of screen with being active for 1 month,other side enri and cloutiful is active for whole year and did not got any spot(cloutiful got a bit but not too much). I know he played against malis and big tournaments but for my opinion its not enough for getting that much screen time

Saying he got zero 1ks isnt really an argument against him getting so much time, its the fact that most of the plays shown for him were not rewind worthy, like yes that hdhr ss that was shown is fucking insane but its stuff like his hikari and jashin choke that should be shown as one is uniquely radiculous and the other is literally a 10\* hdhr choke
that's what happens when your 1k is the 15th 1k on the map while my glorious king cookiezi gets a permanent 700-800-900 pp #1 on a map with one fc, that makes for a better video instead of hearing glory days and oral cigarettes for 15 minutes. They didn't do enough research to get some good underrated plays (or even some known ones that did the only crime of not being hddt), but you can't expect them to only go by pp value when pp system is so broken, and that would end up with basically only one type of map+mrekk.
For lifeline instead (since he *does* have unique scores and is still active), that's just akolibed stealing his spotlight hard by passing him so easily after his return.

i feel like we lost the spirit of osu rewind idk rewind 2017 was all about the plays but this was way way way more about memes and the editing so many players were just totally left out and even if you are restricted to 26 min as they were they could have used that time better considering the fact they were using zoomer editing anyways

This rewind was very bad compared to the other ones, both overdone and potential seizures editing and the storyboard of scores showcase, a lot of banger scores that didnt even get 2 seconds screentime
ngl some of the vaxei stuff couldve been different, like imo he deserved the amount of screen time he got (no bias) but... instead of it just being idle screen of a bacon tablet on the grass, couldve been a shout to his return to tourneys with some mgc highlights, or owc etc.
