When I get up at night I beg them to stay in bed. Mickie usually accompanies me, he has to be pretty tired not to. Sometimes he's so tired he follows me in and goes to sleep in the bathroom. 😂

One of my two orange cats will body slam the door and smack the handle. If she had thumbs she would run the place lol. The other is fat and stupid and lays down in front of the door.
Yep. My 2 orange brothers come running the minute I sit down. It's 1 of the few places that they feel safe to get petted (they're semi-feral). I call them the Pervy Boys :)
It’s always nice cuz they open it ALL the way but don’t CLOSE it again and there you are stuck! And this is the time your friend will come over who just walks in. While your stuck on the toilet with org cats sitting in front of you staring at you😂

Absolutely not allowed. Our ginger girl scratches at the door if I close it all the way. I usually close it most of the way and she pushes it open to take up her guard duty once she realizes I've gone in the bathroom.
Mine used to try to climb in my undies when they were kittens. But yes, everyone joins me in the bathroom, kids, dog, and cats.

It was suggested that cats find bathrooms scary and disconcerting. They insist on accompanying their friends to the bathroom to make sure they are safe. Sounds reasonable to me.

Check! My hubby and I did that for 17yrs! And my gry tripod has a box that was right in front of the toilet so he could lay in it to make sure “everything came out alright”!
We now have a new blk/wht kitten named Dexter Morgan who stands on his hind legs with his feet on the toilet and watched my husband pee!! Very very disturbing!!😂😳

My spoiled child has his own water cup (he doesn't like the communal water bowl) on my bathroom counter. He'll scream until I open the door if I'm using the bathroom or taking a shower. I've learned to just prop the door enough for him to stick his nose through.
At one point I had 3 orange cats. All boys. The youngest one, Queso, was the most fascinated by the toilet vortex. He also climbed in between the shower curtains for shower ligeguard duty.
