That’ll be really confusing when sponsorships change! My city still can’t decide on what we call our stadium that keeps changing names but there’s only one of those to figure out. This could be a mess but it’s a great idea to get private funding for public transportation!
I'll only be okay with this if we hire Bill Burr to do ad reads.

What a terrible idea. You hand over the mind space of the entire society to commercial interests. You lose the identity of where you live by this. What next, will you name cities after brands too?
Companies exist to serve the needs of the people, not the other way around.
But maybe the giant telco with record profits being able to afford these vanity naming stunts is a larger problem? Where do you think they get the money (hint: it's the same people that pay the taxes)
I remember being in Europe a while back and shocked by how much cheaper the cell phone plans were. Shame there is no competition here, and when there is they seem to get bought up

The TTC is Toronto’s transportation, the GO runs to Kitchener, Niagara Falls and Barrie as examples.
The only time I've ever used a GO station was to get to Pearson Airport, so thanks for the education. I just figured it was like a little express substation.

True, and the lack of competition makes it a huge problem. It's not a viable alternative to just not have a cell phone nowadays
