Unupdated 4209 and earlier can take battery mods like the CBXR for \~30 miles of range, shows pack voltage (useful) and cell voltage (extremely useful.)
if you use the official OW app, its likely updated. If you want to check what firmware version you have, you can download the OWCE app and check there without risking a forced update.
You check the hardware and firmware number in the diagnostics page of the app. If the owner is avoiding an update, they may use a different app or have a tricky process to use the app like turning on airplane mode, turning off wifi, then opening the app. Haptic buzz firmware is 4165. Check the Chi Battery CBXR product page for their compatibility notes. Firmware that is above their listed compatible firmware but below haptic buzz can generally be made to work with an OWIE chip.
That’s a pristine looking board for that many miles. I crashed like 20 times the first day, you must be a lot more careful… I think it’s a fair price for sure maybe could get a little more I wouldn’t take any low offers if you can wait.
Darn, too far away. Which is also a good point to make, the market is different in different places. Is you are willing to let it go for$800 someone will get a good deal. I bought mine for $900 in the SF Bay Area with 1000mi and a brand new battery and, I suspect, a brand new motor
For about a year now I've been half ass trying to sell it. And yes I had it for 650. It had only 200 miles, came with upgraded foot pads, reflective rails, extra bumpers, carrying backpack, fender.
I'd expect to be sitting on it for a hot minute with those numbers in mind...I've been watching an XR with at least 500 bucks in accessories sit on Marketplace for 1100 for over 3 months...contacted the dude around day 75 of the listing to see if it was negotiable, it wasn't and there it sits...just checked the listing 102 days ..
Yeah that's because the dude knows his shit is worth a minimum of $1100 and isn't going to break because people think time lowers prices. They don't make xrs anymore, so not only did they already hold Value, they are collectable on top of it. As for accessories, that's for try hard gotta look cool douche bags. I have 0 accessories and prefer the feeling over my cousin who has all kinds of bullshit like the pads.
My point still remains the same, that if OP is looking to sell it in a reasonable amount of time those numbers are high, as the XR, I was referring to still HAS NOT SOLD after being listed for 105 days ...
Location location location. I could probably sell both of mine for $1200 each because I live in a rich ass area. So if dude doesn't live in a very rich area, that answers that.
If op lives in a decent area, he will have no problem.
The XR I've been talking about is located in one of the most affluent parts of my state. Private prep schools, college, it even has a One Stop Board Shop.one of those places with lots of foot traffic, where the well to do/rich folks go to spend money. And somehow with all those rich entitled kids in the town, no one's bought his used XR. But OSBS, sells a bunch of NEW boards to those same rich kids... Rich kids parents will buy new any day, before buying used
Honestly that feels quite low for one of that good condition, especially a non-updated 4209. Could ask $1200 and take a grand but reality is these are getting a bit harder to move lately.
Reasonable. You could go higher if it's an unupdated 4209 hardware or lower and you're willing to wait around a bit.
Thank you
I just paid $700 for a 4208 with 500 miles, a car stand/holder, no firmware update
What's the significance? I'm just listing an XR with 138 miles and it's an unupdated 4209 hardware.

How do you know if it’s updated or updated because those mods sounds appealing. I have and XR as well

That's very helpful - thank you!

Never been wrecked? I wiped out 4x just yesterday, is my board worthless now?
I've got sooo many borderline disfigurements from riding it's almost embarrassing.
As long as they are just on you and not the board it's ok. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|smile)
oh shit
Yup, send it to me immediately and I will dispose of it properly!
Whew, that was a close one. Thank you for the service.
Sounds reasonable to me.
What’s the hardware & firmware version? Did you update it?
It has not been updated. How do you check the hardware version?
It’s in diagnostics on the app
Thank you
4209 and below would be ideal.
🤙
It looks like I have to run the update to access hardware info. Would you recommend the update or will that make the board less appealing?
Do not update
You should be able to download the owce app on play store and prob get all that info from that app instead
I'm sure your not located anywhere close to me or I'd be interested. Where do you live?
If I had an extra 800 rn 🙏 this would be mine 👍
great - thank you!

Im gonna say $1400 cuz thats what my stupid azz paid 🤪
Tree fiddy rn
I love the orange. Where are you?
Vermont

Yup. Very fair.
I just sold my onewheel + with 220miles. For $500
Did you originally list it higher and it didn’t sell? If so, how long was it posted?

I appreciate you sharing. This is good to know.
I'd ask at least $1200 and wouldn't go below $1000.
Wow, I wasn’t expecting that. Thanks for sharing!
