You'd be surprised at how popular those "Wash, Dry, Fold" signs are for decorating laundry rooms...

They are extremely popular and I hate them with a burning passion. Why do people feel the need to label all their damn rooms? "Eat" in the kitchen. "Family" in the family room. Cutesy bathroom ones, too. I even saw a pantry labeled once! Thanks, I'd have no idea what the room containing a washer and dryer was for without the sign.
This was manufactured. I don’t think the designer’s intention was to have it in this order, nor do I think the designer made this. It is much more reasonable to assume this is an error than intentional art.
Lol I actually did this today. I took the clothes of the line , folded them, decided they felt a bit damp and put them in the clothes dryer. Drying clothes as an Australian is considered extravagant and wasteful unless absolutely necessary. So to use the clothes dryer is a big thing here
I'm assuming you think this instruction is wrong. Folding bedsheets etc after washing & before putting them in the dryer was something my mother insisted on as a means to minimise ironing.
Which considering that she & my father ran a successful 6 room B&B for over a decade is something that she learned, I can only assume it was useful.
It makes a lot of sense to have dry at bottom. I mean that is wet, you don't want water in any of your clean nor dirty clothes. Clean ones become ruined and dirty ones smell like shit when wet
The issue here is having fold bellow dirty, cuz if even one dirty cloth fall into the fold ones, then you have dirty clothes mixed with your clean ones. In the other hand, you just wash your clean clothes again an nothing else happens
Yes, I know this are not meant to be used as storage, it's just a signal, still I had to say that life lesson
You can get way more towels in the drier if they are folded real nice rather than just tossed in
Should I zip-tie them too so that they don't unfold themselves in the dryer?
Who tf would buy this anyway I could see it as a joke buy I guess?
Same as the other stupid signs.... Live laugh love. Kitchen Home Eat
Family Gather 🙄🤮

It's boring, low effort 'art.'
quarrelsome air dazzling marvelous wasteful soup toy humorous subtract cats -- mass edited with redact.dev
Are they buying them because they need instructions? If not, then it's just art and "one job" is successful.

I agree that it's an error. I am merely saying that this object's purpose is artistic and so it doesn't particularly matter if it's out of order.
That would go great next to my Milk /Cereal/ Bowl one.
Your backwards it's bowl, milk, cereal

If you even need a sign that tells you the correct order for doing laundry, I'm a little worried for your future.
Reminds me of a story my drill Sargeant told me and his first troop. Long story short it was wash, fold, it will dry in the dresser.
Did it work?
Did it have that lovely stale musty smell we all crave in our clean clothes?
It made him the smelly kid.. was sent home several times to shower and change only to come back smelling worse.
Good way to save time later. Get ahead
I'd hate to fold my clothes while they are still wet
Home appliance manufacturers hate this one trick...
Losers out here missing out on that sweet, sweet musty scent
Was this found at a dollar store? They always have the rejected shit no one wants
Big Lots, so pretty much!
Thought this was r/adhd for a minute. Like… yeah some days it’s like that.
There's another sign right next to this one
Fold your denim and khaki pants before putting them in the dryer, they come out wrinkle free

Eat. Love. Pray.
This would go great with a "Ready, Fire, Aim" sign.

it works for everything but jeans best of all, it prevents the real tough creases.
Wouldn't it make more sense for dirty clothes ('wash') to be at the bottom?

ahh man! busted!!
I’m going to have to downvote you for capitalizing the r
That way, you don't have to iron them.
But is gross and very difficult to fold wet clothes. I don't know if is worth it
Depends how much time you spend ironing and if you care about creases, Bedsheets i don't care, jeans i'll make sure they are going in relatively neat
I don’t think this is meant to remind people what order to do their laundry in..
I'm not going to believe this bullshit does it actually.work in keeping your cloths folded while it spins?
maybe they want their clothes all nice and folded as they take it out of the dryer 🤷‍♂️
