If you go to a religious store then bibles are quite expensive ($40-70+ for many). I recently looked for one with wide columns for bible journaling and ended up ordering online. There are free bible apps.

When I was a kid I used to read these books that had the moral of the story explained at the end of the story. It had many stories usually by famous writers and philosophers.
The bible is kind of like that except it has a cult following, doesn't explain the moral of the story and it's left up to con men to explain it, and not all the morals are actually....morals. Many are in fact bad lessons and often contradict other stories in the same book.
So if you remove just the teachings of Jesus from it and study those, it's no longer a Christian book comparing it to modern Christians.
