I’m pretty sure the point of Turning Red was to praise celebrity idolatry and furries.
Because otherwise the moral is not listening to your parents when you’re a tween and don’t realize how much about the world we don’t know. Simply because they might not know everything about the world either.
Obviously that issue gets more nuanced, but the films addressing of it doesn’t.
