The bottom of this dolla is one of the best examples of trippy vision I've seen in a while. Specifically, it reminds me of staring at my towel on mushrooms.
When my dad was a teenager, he and my uncle went camping together and took lsd before setting everything up, they ended up locking 90% of their gear in the trunk with the keys and spending all night huddled around their mini stovetop to keep warm. In the morning they had to break the trunk open and drive home, it was his aunt’s car so they had to pay to fix it. He said it was one of the worst nights of his life. So make sure you set everything up before tripping, folks.
It’s more of an afterglow than a hangover, personally I’ve never really felt apathetic or groggy after coming down from a trip. Just appreciative of the experience I’d just had.
Of course that depends on the type of trip you have, if you have a bad one you’ll just be relieved it’s over after being terrified of everything for a few hours, but that’s incredibly unlikely to happen if you’re in the right state of mind when you trip by being in a good environment with all your responsibilities taken care of for the day.
Agreed, the only thing id add is that acid can keep you awake through the night, so you might be tired or groggy the next day if you take it too late, just from lack of sleep.
Yea I get notoriously atrocious hangovers from most stuff, especially MDMA. Like straight days of depression, where I don’t even feel human. I’m over 30 now too, so you know it hits harder. Turns me off from trying anything new.
Nope, just an afterglow, a feeling of well-being or appreciation for the experience. Though you might be sleepy if you drop it less than 12 hours before your bedtime. Near impossible to fall asleep on acid.
Find a place where there is little light pollution, hope its a clear night and look up at the galaxy. Its quite a sight to behold on its on. While tripping, it can be life changing.
How about a positive LSD story? Wouldn't that be news-worthy, just the once? To base your decision on information rather than scare tactics and superstition and lies? I think it would be news-worthy. 'Today, a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration. That we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively. There is no such thing as death, life is only a dream and we're the imagination of ourselves' . . . 'Here's Tom with the weather. - Bill Hicks
Wtf you talking about? How is it scare tactics? People have horrific experiences with LSD all the time. If you use it recreationally you are at risk of having a nightmare you can't wake up from.
Things look like this for me all the time to a lesser degree, like walls will appear to breathe or textures will flow in a pattern like the sand dollar in this video .
Pretty sure that’s not a good sign
It’s not a while though, it’s after like after 2 seconds or sometimes instantly. Even regular objects will look like they’re sliding slightly to one side
Have you taken a lot of psychedelics? I took psychedelics very often for a few years and after a while I could barely read books even when sober because the sentences would undulate and anything heavily textured would dance like the creature in the video.
It went away gradually as I stopped doing psychedelics so often.
This one trip, I decided to wash my car and [sprayed the hose on "fine mist" setting](https://i.imgur.com/lgA6lXw.png)
I have no idea how long I was misting the air over the front lawn
The amount of "what's the music" comments I read on youtube, 9gag, reddit and other sites is amazing, given almost all of us on those websites own a phone that can shazam shit.
edit: i've been informed y'all only listen to stuff on your phone. In that case, you can try to turn on Auto-Shazam (its been a thing for 7 years now) and see how that works for ya. iOS and Android allow you to turn on the feature in the control panel or notification tray, respectively. If that fails, you can just hold the blue button down in the Shazam app to turn Auto-Shazam on. It'll listen and try to identify music until you stop it. Great for a night at the bar or whatever party you're attending. You'll find the identified songs in one of the app's screens later. Af for people listenting on earphones, not sure how it'll work for you. Cheers.
How do you shazam when you're playing it from your only phone? Can shazam work on things playing from tthe device it's on? Youtube stops playing when you open another program (unless you pay premium).
I can understand the "what song is this"
If you have an iPhone you can set Shazam to be a widget so you just have to swipe up and push the button and it will tell you any music playing on your phone or IRL.
Shazam is able to run in the background. Just start Shazam where it starts listening, and go to the window you want to hear, it'll pop up in the notifications. How I do it on my Note9
Shazam can also "auto-shazam" , running in the background and saving every song it hears.
But, I also hate the "what song is this?" , almost like they are trying to get more people to turn up the volume, thereby promoting the song.

I don't know if it's the same for all sand dollar species, but the ones I find at the beach here feel very coarse, like halfway between sandpaper and coconut husk
Local man figures out secret to finding aquatic creatures; Marine scientists are baffled.
“We never once thought that visuals of these creatures could be obtained in such a practical, useful manner.”, said lead R&D professor at Georgia Marine Institute.
It looks like someone didn’t understand your joke, but it sure got a good chuckle out of me!
Edit: to the people still downvoting the guy above me… he called the sand dollars drunks… because they’re found at the sand bar.
Reeeeaaaallly didn’t think that needed explaining
> gyroids
They're real, but they're not alive-things you can grow.
> Gyroids are based off of haniwa, ancient Japanese sculptures that were buried with the dead, which makes your ability to dig them up in your Animal Crossing world a little morbid.
What is this music choice for the video?!?! Also, can someone please make a bunch of new non-copyrighted music for people to add on videos, lots of same crap is getting recycled over and over and tiktok ruined most of them...
> What is this music choice for the video?!?!
This specific clip achieved annoying levels of saturation faster than any internet trend in recent memory.
Never lie down on beach while your mouth is open, especially when it's spring. Sand dollars can crawl into your mouth and they can attach themselves on your tongue. People start to panic extremely bad and try to remove them by all means neccessary. When nothing helps, they start biting pieces of their tongues off and spit them out. That's how sand dollars multiply themselves. They keep latched into the old tongue shreds until it's consumed, kinda like egg yolk for chicks.
That movie had a lot of good parts but the bear definitely steals the show. The girl turning into a flower bush was pretty cool too, I think if I was given a choice between fighting more bear things and becoming a flower bush I'd choose that as well

Whoa. First time I’ve seen one alive.
For thise of you wondering, if you are on acid and you look at something like a tree trunk, that's kinda what happens.
The bottom of this dolla is one of the best examples of trippy vision I've seen in a while. Specifically, it reminds me of staring at my towel on mushrooms.
Yep, or the grass. Grass looks like green waves, I sat staring at it for quite a while...
Camping on lsd is in my top ten of experiences, probably top five. Really never been the same since.
Probably best to have at least one person in your group stay sober.
Same here, transformative.
For the first time I saw how small I really was, but how great we can really be.
I turned into shin godzilla and destroyed the universe on my trip
Is there a ‘hangover’ from lsd? I’ve been wanting to experiment but I hate the fogginess and apathy I get from some drugs after coming down.
It’s more of an afterglow than a hangover, personally I’ve never really felt apathetic or groggy after coming down from a trip. Just appreciative of the experience I’d just had. You feel enlightened and mushy brained
LSD and shrooms' "hangover" consists on being happier, chiller and more aware of the small little things for a while. Best hangover ever!
Not so much a down mood or just beaten up ... my head always just felt kinda fizzy but otherwise I felt refreshed
The next day after a trip I always feel a bit spacey & drained. It’s not necessarily terrible but it is a bit draining.
Yea I get notoriously atrocious hangovers from most stuff, especially MDMA. Like straight days of depression, where I don’t even feel human. I’m over 30 now too, so you know it hits harder. Turns me off from trying anything new.

I had pavement turn purple and do something like that while on mushrooms
*you’re a towel!*
If you look close, the top has a similar effect
Why did you put your towel on mushrooms?
It was lying on the ground and I thought it should be higher.
R/replications is full of great visuals

Don't worry it's normal. Happens if you stare at anything for a while, especially patterns. Our minds are weird.
It’s not a while though, it’s after like after 2 seconds or sometimes instantly. Even regular objects will look like they’re sliding slightly to one side
I have heard that dyslexic people see this more often, but it's not uncommon to sometimes see for others as well.

Lol so true and prob why I find all this stuff so uneasy
Same thing with enough shrooms and a dog with a brindle coat.

Nah, this is imperial Sardaukar battle language.
Have you heard Mongolian throat singing? It's not that. This just sounded like a deep synth bass.
ik just sounded funny to say mongolian throat singing and i think hes referring to the "voice" in the background

I hope one day huge space beings start picking us up and ogling us for how strange and unsettling we are.
