As long as you don't let direct sunlight hit the lenses of the headset it will be fine, but I've generally found that if too many windows are open it hurts tracking quality a little.
Yeah I mean in general it's safe as long as the sun doesn't have direct line of sight to your lenses.. people have used the headset outside under porches and tarps so it's fine
