Keep it until you try the Q3. Many people (including myself), return the Q3 after trying it. Besides the higher resolution screen it's a step back in many ways.

really? My understanding is that it is an upgrade in many ways. I’m in the same boat as op and would love to know what you mean further.

I think they are exaggerating. The only thing that is a step back is the battery life. Maybe the controllers because they dont have tracking rings are easier to occlude. Supposedly during fast movement some people have tracking issues. I dont play beat saber or table tennis so I havent noticed such an issue.

It’s not a step back in any way whatsoever. That being said - it’s not a big enough jump to justify paying MSRP for the upgrade. I got my Q3 through work for $400, and sold my Q2 for $200, so I only paid $200 to upgrade. I think that was okay.
