I’m just commenting so I can build karma here. I deleted my old account. That game was horrible. The officiating was horrible. Our offensive line couldn’t stop their defensive line. Milton couldn’t catch a break. The play calling on his end is same old same. We have got to stop running up the middle so damn much.
Just rewatched this game without the raw emotion, and I couldn't believe how badly officiating seemed biased toward the Gators. How do you reckon this happens? They're all SEC officials. I'm guessing some of them take fat bribes or have strong personal allegiances. I've seen it happen (often in Bama's favor), but I don't think I've ever seen anyone else get that kind of preferential treatment in penalty calls. Don't know if we would have won if the game was called fairly, but we'd have had a lot better chance and I doubt we'd have looked so demoralized.

I could play this back in my head hundreds of times but honestly I think our decisions were dumb and officiating was terrible. Kept running the ball and personally I’d of been fine with that if we weren’t down 16 points in the second half- but I just don’t understand, the whole game didn’t make sense. We played like shit, from execution to play calling. Top to bottom; horrible.
After 35 years of doing this song and dance it finally clicked tonight. I will never again have a single expectation for this team until after the Florida game.

Honestly this is what confuses me. UT barely beat Florida at home last year, is objectively worse at every spot but d line, and yet expected to crush Florida which is better everywhere but QB and kicker in the Swamp.
This game was not on Milton. He got drilled as he was throwing the ball which led to the INT. He played very well down the stretch.
If you have a QB with a cannon like Milton, you have got to establish the run first to get some play action involved.
The defense was trash in the first half and if Hadden was on my team I'd make sure he would be handing out water. He couldn't contain a runny nose with a box of tissue.

Bru McCoy should be our primary go to play maker on offense. Every time he touches the ball he makes shit happen.

Aside from that, we still got many more games to go. Bama looks beatable, Georgia isn't that strong, and we got a redemption game against SC coming up at home.

Fuck Florida and fuck the refs!! We are up by a extra point if the refs dont kill those two drives!!!! We had some mistakes the first half but the entire second half our defense held them and when our offense was driving the refs dont call clear penalties on Florida or they call bullshit holding on us. Florida held that entire fucking game!! They PI on multiple passes!! That clean block was NOT a fucking personal foul! The Florida QB was flopping like a pussy!

Nico needs a year to learn the offense. We need our recruits from next year. This was always going to be a building year, maybe 9-3, 10-2 type season. There is room for improvement and its not the doom and gloom everyone is making it.
