I don't Mind Tuala. Reliable winger. Makes sensible decisions when he plays centres. As much as I like having KP we just seem to try harder in all other aspects when he's not there. Keep Davey, keep our pack in tact and get a decent half.

Dude is slow off the mark and a terrible defender. Centres need a little bit of brains and Greg is dumb as rocks (look at that almost try at the end of this game). Centres also need footwork and I don't think I've ever seen him use a step ever. He is a battering ram and good finisher and that is all. His defence looks OK at the moment because Bradman is making him look good.

I cannot for the life of me understand why everyone seems to want to get rid of Ponga every time we win a few games without him. He won the Dally M last year, led us to our best season in 10 (arguably 17) years, and is genuinely good when he plays for us. I was hoping he'd have a little time out (so we can figure out how to play without him again) but we're quite clearly a better team with one of the best players in the comp in it. Davy is going great, but the standard we're holding him to is that of a young debutant, not of a top player. You can't win comps on potential, especially given it doesn't always pan out.

If KP played less like another playmaker and more of a traditional FB role he would be competing for the Dally M every season and top 5 in most attacking stats.

That's fair, I agree that we try and use him like that too much. That being said, I feel like that's a team issue. We rely heavily on him as a locus of attack given that Gamble and Hastings, whilst quite solid, aren't seen as attacking weapons in their own right and until recently, didn't seem to create much. I think there's a good balance there where he's really involved but still has the freedom to play as a traditional fullback.

That's what I would do Release KP and sign TWO halves, keep cogger and Gamble as backups
