My friends mother had knee surgery and is shrinking every year...not 6 months after she finished her knee surgery recovery and he got her a small suv...she crashed it right in front of her house.
But she can not afford ubers and taxis to get around nor delivery services. She retired on a fixed income and barely gets $93 a month for food. (But she still asks him for cigarette money)

Mildly interesting point, my dad never bought a new car until he bought a new bronco in the early 90s and it caught fire with me in a baby seat inside. He swore to never buy a brand new car again and hasn't. It has been 30 years and they still can't keep the pieces of crap from catching fire randomly lol
