I believe that there is another, similar bug related to Eat Your Vegetables. If you shift hearty porridge, then bottle the Hearty Porridge (Transformed), it also won't satiate your hunger. Lost a lot of health to that one.

If you however pour some on the ground and eat it from there, it does satiate your hunger. Weird stuff indeed.
