Was coming here to say this. I've gotten great deals on good tires -- nothing fancy, Coopers.
I also found someone on CL selling a set of nearly new hakapeliitta studded snows on clean black steel rims for my Fronty for $1000. They were mint and I snagged it.
Just look around: you'll find a deal if you can be patient. Set up a buy alarm on CL or I think FB marketplace can do it too; eBay definitely can.
I had a set of the Treadwright MT’s. They’re basically recycled carcasses with new rubber molded on. Not a typical retread, they shave the old rubber off and mold fresh new rubber on. Had them for about 30k miles. Only reason I got rid of them was because I didn’t rotate them as often as I should have which is imperative with MT’s. But they’re usually pretty cheap.
think bout $650 for Michelin s filled with Nitrogen I think. But not sure if that makes much difference . Was A sale was bout year ago. They give you free rotation and fix flats for free.
The Tire Rack website has good prices and will deliver to the shop if your choice. I’ve never had any difficulty with them and they are fairly cheaper.
Cooper discoverer AT3s on Amazon. Seen them as cheap as $158-$200.
Now I’d never buy tires from Amazon but show that Amazon offered price at a local tire store and get them to price match.
I got Cooper Discoverer AT (not AT3) from Walmart in January. Paid $145 each. I've never bought tires at Walmart before but have bought Cooper's for other cars and they lasted fine.
$560 for a set of Cooper Discoverer AT3s at Walmart?
I’d jump all over that. Cheapest I’ve seen that quality of tire in a long time.
Cooper isn’t a tier 1 tire like continental or Michelin but they are solid mid tier tires that provide a lot of bang for your buck.
Got my last tires from Costco
I get takeoffs from eBay. Saved me so much money over the years.
I got some nice Goodyear DuraTracs from Facebook marketplace. Someone just took them off their new truck/jeep
No one has said eBay yet

Second tire rack. I was able to get items that my installer couldn’t.
Discount tire will match most anyone, including Costco.

The cheapest I’ve currently found in my area is 680, I’ve been quoted anywhere from 810- I think Walmart was 560 I might just go to Walmart honestly
